Not even all their gay moments, they are really popular with the LGBTQ+ not just for the flirting but because they are the most openly supportive of the community of all kpop groups and actively support the community in Korea plus they help elevate representation by preforming with out members of the community for stages and add representation in subtle ways to music videos that way they aren’t restricted and can still be on tv. Also in Korea it is known that to meet fellow gay people and not get bullied you go to Mamamoo fan and message boards. Highly recommend the song “Um Oh Ah Yeah” it’s the unofficial Korean Pride anthem song.

Hwasa wakes Solar up by kissing her all over the face. Moonbyul would flirt with Solar constantly just to get a rise out of her. Wheein is always down for anything sexy. Fans would beg her to dance her song Moderato with Moonbyul (you saw a short clip in the video), and her response was along the lines of needing to make it even more erotic. Their love, friendship and trust is on a level usually reserved for kdramas or fiction and their mischievous playfulness, teasing and flirting is like an improv troupe that takes the cardinal rule of accepting whatever is offered with a "Yes, and ..." and gleefully ups the ante. I think they have so much fun pushing each others' buttons, boundaries and limits because they have the permission granted by their love, friendship and implicit trust. Their approach to live performance is "Let's Play!" and they treat the stage like their playground. They're always pushing gender, sexuality and kpop girl group norms of behavior and their answer to "Is this allowed?" always seems to be "Why Not?" I think 90% or more of the fandom would disagree with you. Moonbyul is almost certainly gay, Hwasa is an opportunist, Wheein is probably bi, which leaves Solar as the only straight girl, and she was seduced by Moonbyul. So there's no one in the group who hasn't experienced Sapphic love.
