@@jaycharlton613 you were talking about playmaking on offense. Aldridge was a better offensive pairing for a point guard than Bam. Aldridge has five 20+ point seasons and Bam's only one. I'm from Miami and agree that Bam is better overall, but if I had one offensive possession with the season on the line, I'll take Aldridge over Bam.

I think Bam is actually one of the only players in NBA history who could fit seamlessly on almost any team in NBA history (except for the Rockets with Sampson and Olajuwon and Spurs with Duncan and Robinson)

I understand he’s doing all he can on defense for us and that’s where the majority of his energy goes, I just wish he sustained his high level of offense all the way to the finals. We have yet to have a complete offensively dominant season from bam . We all know he can do it

It's the first thing you said and also I believe it's how the team is. You giving your all and being the literal defense of the team is exhausting but he's on a team that goes to anyone with the hot hand even though he is one of the two best players. He can score but he's also a playmaking big. He sets up everyone else. We want him to score too but you maximize him with ball I believe even though he's good off the ball too. We seen flashes where bro having triple doubles and double doubles with high assists and we winning or in prolly the best contention ever. I wish the heat would maximize that

There’s a good reason Portland insisted on Bam being in the offer for Lilliard and Pat Riley refusing. Bam is an extremely important piece. His offense could use a little more polish yes, but I think he is the best defensive player in the league. He does so much on that end of the floor for the heat it’s unreal. The disrespect he gets for his defense is mind blowing to me. It’s why the olympic team wants him and not JJJ again.
