Alright, alright, I'm going to go vacuum upstairs. 😂 You'd think at some point we would learn, and remember, that most tasks we put off, really don't take that long to complete. 😊

I like the idea of taking 10 minutes to tackle a spot in the house because I easily get distracted and this keeps you more focused on the task at hand. Setting a timer is a great idea, as well. Thank you for the tips!

After watching this video I actually took the time to vacuum my sofa + took an extra 10 minutes to vacuum the whole house plus clean the vacuum itself before putting it away. Still 20 minutes and the thing I was dreading the most (vacuuming the sofa because I was lazy) is done!

Great points! My biggest advice is to put things back where they live right after using the thing. Then then it doesn't ever pile up. The other issue most people have is that they have way too much stuff to begin with. I am by no means a minimalist! But, if you find your house getting cluttered on a regular basis, you probably have too much stuff for your space.

I have never seen so many make up brushes until now. Wow. It was fun watching you declutter. It overwhelmed me to watch the before parts of your spaces. I have a very small and extremely tidy home all the time. I always tell people that if they struggle to declutter, they should do 15 minutes. I think 10 minutes is too fast. I am a professional certified carbon footprint reducer (includes decluttering) and 10 minutes doesn't get people motivated enough. Sometimes when people clean for 15 minutes, it motivates them to go for another 15 and sometimes longer. Just my little bits of advice. I can understand that having a larger family makes things more difficult (I only have a family of 5 and know you have a larger family and a larger home). Get your kids in helping you for sure too!

Someone who helps lower your carbon footprint. A carbon footprint is the impact you and your stuff have in the emissions of carbon you release in the world. The less stuff, the lower the footprint, which helps the environment and your own too.@@jcastro91235

Saw a short the other day by a Dr saying that makeup brushes often have more germs than a toilet including staph and ecoli etc and it can cause rashes that look like hives and they don't respond to normal treatment BC drs often think it's cystic acne or hives first, meanwhile you've got a bacterial infection all over your face and neck... For real, wash your makeup brushes or use things that are disposable!
