Btw it’s not mentioned that incident didn’t just result in Batista getting fined, Jericho, the referee and Dean Malenko (who was the road agent for the match) were fined $50’000 each despite the ref and Malenko not knowing that Batista was going to blade because by Vinces logic Malenko should have known. Batista actually paid all of the fines himself in a really classy display

I literally remember the Divas battle royal from 2011 where Gail Kim eliminated herself in less than one minute. She was so fed up with WWE by that point she just didn't care anymore. Kim escaped from the bottom rope went backstage and told John Laurinaitis that she eliminated herself on purpose because the Divas battle royal was pointless and Laurinaitis just laughed at her. The very next day Gail Kim announced on Twitter she was quitting WWE, and the rest is history.

I believe her. I also believe the stories about her and Bayley laying in the floor and complaining about losing the tag title. Both can be true. There is always a straw that breaks the camel’s back. The Iiconics were a nice tag team, but they had a heavy comedic performance and were relatively new. It wasn’t good for the tag belts or for Sasha and Bayley to drop the belts to them so soon after the women’s tag belts were created.
