I use rice water ( water used after washing rice) to water plants..good results Also used tea leaves can be used as fertiliser after cleaning & straining to remove sugar from the tea leaves…

A suggestion, plants release a rooting hormone so if growing in water it is advisable to not throw the water but begin half full and keep adding little water top up regularly. Will save water too and plants grow faster.

Good tips for getting the best results with plants. I noticed that you have no orchids? I have a few but they are gone out of flower and it’s not easy to get them back. Also they don’t like direct sun or they get scorched so it is hard to get a good position for them

@@SimplifyYourSpace - I got a reply from metro corporation office, due to dengue and other harmful mosquitoes normally lay eggs in good water it seems therefore they strictly said to not to grow. I had 10+indoor hydra plants everything they have removed last year . In our society No hydra plants is allowed also No terrace garden is allowed. That’s the saddest part. Only less maintenance crotons are allowed in the balcony hence I have requested.
