What a good idea those hangers are - put some in my Amazon basket👍🏽. Thanks

2 pin adapter in Europe is almost essential. Also I suggest a mains tester (European standard 3 pin socket), I'm not concerned about reverse polarity but it tells me the post is live.

Thanks for watching and commenting. I was certainly glad of the 2 pin adapter although where we went their use wasn’t as widespread as I’d expected. Good idea re the “is it live?” tester. We had a couple of reverse polarity situations but like you, weren’t concerned 👍🏻

Some excellent ideas there, we have the screens, which are great, like the funnel thingy, a bugbear of mine is filling the fresh water tank from a water container , will look out for one

Could you let me know what make your wind blockers are please? I've looked at a few online, but they are not as good as yours?

Some good tips there that I wish I knew about before touring in France. Can I ask where you get the awning screens and also the fresh water filler attachment

Thanks for watching and the kind words, much appreciated! The water filler attachment came from the Harrogate Motorhome show, from a small one man band who had a stand. I’ve not seen them before but they must be out there somewhere 🤔. The screens are Flexi - Shades and a link to their website - should you wish to investigate further - is here : flexishades.co.uk/

Good video buddy….. do you also use a collapsible bucket so you can siphon off some grey waste each day?

Thanks for watching and the kind comment. Up to now I’ve used a normal bucket to discreetly siphon off a bit of waste to help feed the hedgerows. But this weekend I discovered I’ve managed to put a hole in it 🤦🏼. And yes, I did sing when I noticed it 🤣🤣.

@@WolfiesWheels haha nice one… my wife and I have now made the decision that the Kingham will be our next van and much of that can be put down to your videos. Just need to sell our static and then decide on whether to go new or used (thinking the latter but we’ll see).

@@tonks1968 Wow, I is a influencer 🤣🤣🤣! Re the new or pre owned decision, I understand from the Autosleeper forum that the van now comes only on the Fiat lighter weight chassis which means it can no longer be automatically up plated to 4,500 kg. Just thought I’d mention it in case it makes a difference. But this is only what I’ve read, I’m sure a dealer would be able to confirm one way or another. Good luck with the van hunt!

No hate but your vehicle is a campervan not a motorhome 👍🏼 I’ve a Fiat Ducato campervan and just had it instead of a Chausson Motorhome. Great tips btw

No worries, your comment taken in the intended spirit 👍🏻. Thanks for watching and the kind comment. I’m never sure what it is, we think of it as a campervan too but the Camping and Caravan Club call it a Motorhome as it has on board toileting and washing facilities. As the Great Bard said (paraphrased) “what is in a name? 😀.

@@WolfiesWheels Haha totally agree. It’s all the same , motorhome or campervan. We tried a motorhome, not for us. Little entrance door we prefer the sliding door and double doors at the back. We call them “ Whoosh Bangs” the sound the sliding door makes. 🤣🤣

I thought a camper van was a vehicle without a bathroom?

  • @stevebennett6727

@@saltaireorangebicyclechopp8555 nope. A motorhome is a vehicle with a custom body on a base van . A camper is any converted van with original body. The interior doesn’t need a bathroom . It’s no big issue but that’s what the difference is 👍🏼😉
