@@thechessnerd yeah it's a slightly more rare and advanced tactic, I did a free chessable course (chess geometry) that covered the topic and really enjoyed it. definitely would love to see it in your series though

in 1500-1800 elo puzzle after sacrificing horsey i found bishop h7 check if kh8 bishop g6 discovered check king g8 sac rook and then queen g5 check and after that checkmate and if king tries to escape you checkmate him with queen am i wrong?

Same, but there is gxh6 after discovery

In level 4 9:45 after Kf8 exciting subsequent move is Rd8+, after this black plays Qe8 forced, and another rook gotta take on g7 for mate

i completed level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 i failed level 7, 8 (i found the first move but played Ra1 afterwards), 9 (i found the first move), 10, final boss (I found the black pawn promote to queen variation)

WHAT HOW DID I MANAGE TO SOLVE LEVEL 10? I'm just 800 ELO, I am genuinely so blown away by myself this time. You guys probably don't believe me, I wish I could show proof that I managed to solve it but just, oh my god dude Amazing video btw I solved everything except for level 9 so far, but I haven ot yet seen the final puzzle, I jsut casme down here to comment a bit becasue of how schocked I am I just like I started calculating that wohle line, and I was "No way this is the actrual right answer", but I didn't see any flaws with it, so when he actually dpalyed it exactly how I imagined it it was so satisfying

in problem 6 instead of rh8 immediately you can also premove bh7+ bg6+ rh8+ Qh5+ Qh7# it's 1 move slower but checkmate is checkmate

In Level 8, I was thinking of rook B2 (Defelecting black rook) If takes then bishop E5 check forced move G8 then mate with knight. If rook to E4 then rook C4 (Defelecting again) To options take my rook then same mate thing, if he takes my bishop then we up with an piece I REALLY DIDNT SEE QUEEN D5, if that happens then there we loose a rook because we have to move my king to H1 and he can takes my rook after giving check with queen but it also depends upon when he plays like if he play queen D5 after my Rook B2 then its not a problem but if he plays queen D5 after C4 then its a problem and he will win a free rook

in lvl 8 cant we just attack his queen with rook if he takes it we get a queen for a rook and threaten mate but if he slides it we can just take our queen to d4 directly and go for mate?

Hey isnt be5+ a good move on level 8? Cuz if rxbe5 Nxre5, and white is advantageous, but if be5+ and kg8 then nh6#. Im i right?

at 35 minutes, 25 seconds you could also play rook f6 which is the same line.

at level 8 theres Be5 Kg8 knight-h6 checkmate if he takes the bisshop then itake his rook. 50 50 chance thou.

Forgive me if its obvious but for level 3 at 11:26 i saw rook sack then pawn takes on f7 threatening rook to h1 checkmate. Queen can block but is ultimately captured. I see that its more moves but does it work?

Rook e6 saves it for black after pawn takes, since when white goes rook h1, black can block with rook h6

Bro in lev 8 place the queen at f2 rest you can think by yourself

I SOLVED ALL LEVELS LETS GOOOOO🤩🤩🤩🤩. The last two ones might have taken 2 minutes or so but as long as you look for attacks and captures and checks you’ll be fine

I had a close position to lvl 2 but I sac'd my queen for a knight instead of fork allowing me to fork his king and queen

Level 3: Can't we checkmate rook on g7?

Level 5 was easier than level 4 ngl (fewer variations)

Iam 1800-1900 ish and got the 2000 apmost right. I had the right idea but after that i was completely lost

i made it to level 6 then got it wrong (makes sense im 1500 rn) although i saw the line he showed i thought it was wrong because i forgot the black queen would no longer be protecting h5 the line i found was knight g7 then slide the rook up if they take once he showed the line and it showed the black queen move i right away knew how to win lol (didnt see the second way he showed tho prob cuz i didnt think abt it after i saw the first way)i got level 7, missed level seven but i saw Be5 and if he doesnt take with rook Nh6 is mate so he either takes with rook or loses and if he takes you also have a fork between knight and queen on the way, didnt get level 9, def didnt have level 10, and 100% didnt have 11
