These older AnimalBytes/SnakeBytes videos are really amazing. Lots of wisdom that still applies perfectly in 2022 and on.
I don't know if you ditched the caffeine, took up meditation, or what, but this calmer version of you is so much more pleasant!! Go, you!
Brian I've been researching and watching your videos for the past couple months and I am serious in getting into this business in breeding. Not only I'm planning on breeding ball pythons that are my favorite reptiles in the world but I also am breeding fish as a fishkeeper. I have lots of veterinary background as a vet assistant and I want to broaden my skills in breeding. I've wanted ball pythons since I was 14 years old, the first time I ever held a ball python was that age and he was a $2,000 Enchi Woma Pastel back in 2001. Since then I always wanted one until a few months ago when I rescued my very first ball python from a former roommate. I am doing as much research and getting myself involved in the community in my home state to become a ball python breeder of CO. It's only a matter of time before I really start collecting and begin breeding and I am super stoked to get my foot in the door in the industry. I've worked with animals all my life and became a profession in 2008. You are truly and inspiration!!!
Wow!! Brian is so calm in this channel. On his channel brian barczyk he is always soo overexcited
I actually made a KZread account so I could subscribe to your channel, after I got more and more interested in reptiles, now I'm obsessed. THANK YOU BRIAN!!! I love your videos so so much, and you will always have my support as long as you keep up that inspiring passion of yours for many many more years to come.
I have been working with dogs for 7-8 years now, and this video specifically at the part where you mentioned don't lose the passion once you become a successful business. I remember starting in the shelters 10 years ago learning everything I can, and now that it is a business it is hard to remember the passion I had to learn and investigate new things...to be short cause I can clearly rant, THANKS. Time to get back to work as you so nicely put it! Love the cheery attitude and personality, very inspiring and motivating. I know this video is old but I look forward to what you guys produce in the future!! Happiness is contagious as I like to say so thanks again for always being so chipper!
Keep the free advice coming! I am breeding my first cluthes this upcoming season, and a lot of the info and advice comes straight from these videos. Im breeding Mystic Potion x Normal, Mystic Potion x Mojave, and two normal KSBs one of which is het for albino Thanks again brian!

Who's re-watching these good episodes during the quarantine?
I am so thankful for you and your whole team! I've learned so much from all of you. I love knowing that there are people out there who care about the life of an animal.
Watched it all the way through just for fun and knowledge! Recently discovered Brian and love every bit of it. The last 3 minutes of this video were honestly some of the greatest words I've heard in a long time ^-^ thanks man! I'm inspired
You've been such a huge inspiration for me (right next to Steve Erwin). I've been watching you for almost 5 years and I've learned SO much from you and your old crew and just your channel in general. I'd love to meet you just to thank you for that in person. Much love from Arkansas ❤️
Hi Brian, Ive been watching your videos for a little while now and i have to say, it has helped me alot and i have learnt alot, and i plan to be a breeder one day and have taken note so that i can do work with something i love.. thank you for the advice and hope to see more of your videos like this one..
hi Brian, gotta say excellent video yet again. I've been keeping reptiles/other types of animals for 6 years now and I'm a student of zoology but the last few months I've grown increasingly frustrated with the hobby and pet shops in my country that most of which just seem to be in it for financial gain and not the welfare of the animals but I have to say having watched this video and previous times I've watched your videos it just seems to eliminate all those frustrations I have and is good to see someone out there who still has the passion for the animals, you're an inspiration to me and to my girlfriend jamie who herself wants to be an anima breeder one day so I'll be sure to show her this video, thanks Brian
Another comment from Spain! One of the bests chapters of this channel. Good advices, and, of course, its always nice to see your amazing facilities.
Man you are an amazing person and a really big inspiration, i just want to say thank you for all the time and experiences that you are sharing with us and saludos desde Mexico!
Welcome back Brain! I loved your Austria episodes but its shows like this that made me love snakebytes and what really pushed me into reptiles. I currently have 4 ball pythons (1 female i got from you), a Savannah monitor and an inland reticulated python. I am hoping to get my first clutch from my original normal ball python this year and im so excieted! Great episode, keep it up :)

+Jacob Estabrook I like doing shows at my shop as well. But I also love to travel and show off other cool animals. Thanks for watching, Brian(Sbtv)
This video is perfect, exactly what I was looking for. Super informational and genuinely expressive. I just got changed hobbies from fish to bearded dragons last year and I have been hunting information nonstop. Just recently I realized how a hobby can actually become a business, it left me interested in learning the ins and outs of the trade. Your basically a strong influence in my decision to commit to and pursue breeding dragons. I've got a long way to go but I wanted to say thanks for the vid and grats on your success!
you taught me a lot in this one video I'm 15 and i always had a passion for reptiles and i will take baby steps to breed the reptiles I love
This video was super inspirational, thanks Brian for showing this
Brian, thank you for being such an inspiration. I current have a ball python, and it's because of you I have it, your videos made me fall in love with snakes even more then what I had, You're videos made my dad like snakes, and that made me so happy because he let me get one even though my family hates them because their "the devil" This video was so helpful because I plan on breeding my snake and breeding them when I'm older. This was your best video yet,
Hi Brian. I know this is a little older vlog but, there's a ton of really great insight that I'll be using while I take the next step with my animals. Thank you so very much!
My future career is with the reptiles.
Thank you very much for this video... Ive been thinking of getting into breeding for awhile now and this video helped a lot. Ive ALWAYS loved reptiles... I used to run around as a kid and catch em.. Lizards frogs turtles w/e i could find.. And when i think about what i want to do with my life and what i have a REAL passion and love for.. It always comes back to reptiles... So im gonna give it my best shot and again this video was very very helpful!
You deserve more subs bro. Love you and your co workers and the channel. Keep up the good work
this is one of my favorite videos of all time you really go the extra mile thanks brain

wow this video was made for me,I stopped by a reptile store today seen and held my first snake. a lesser platinum, he even showered me the morph for a blue eyed lucy, he sounded very excited to get me motivated to own a snake and getting into breeding, after having hands on with them I can't wait to purchase my boy and build up from there. something inside me just made me fall in love with these animals, ball pythons truly are calm animals and just beautiful to look at.
Awesome video. Brian you are great buddy. Passion really goes a long way!

I accidentally got hundreds of axolotls this last year, i kind of got the parents out of nowhere and they decided to start breeding right when i got them and i didnt know i could cull them at the time. luckily it turned out alright and i raised them up and sold most of them and bought everything i needed for the next time they layed. It was all out of nowhere but i love it now

I've had a few people ask me why I would bother with my mix Corn snake and my answer is always that I keep them for the love of the creature, and not whether it's 'in fashion' or ' a pure bloodline' or whatever. As you say Brian, always keep up the joy of what you do!:) Greetings from South Africa's Garden Route!:) P.S. Have you, or do you, want to ever have some of our venomous snakes such as our Cape Cobra, Puff Adder or Boomslang (Tree Snake)? Three really dangerous snakes, but hey, for the love of snakes... for the love of snakes:)

I'm getting in to sand boas . Obviously not for the money . I've fallen in love with these tiny little docile snakes . I have been researching over the last 10 years and heavily over the last year . Starting with an albino het for anery and snow and an Anery stripe . Next year I'm buying a pair of nuclear dodamata straight from Steave Beamer who acquired the original line in 2014 . Start with quality and set yourself up for success . I have a friend producing scaleless head and axanthic desert ghost balls . Again quality and failure is near impossible.
Best video yet bro,you did now let's see how you top that one ;)
I am so excited to get my first snake! Do you have any Miami phase corns? :) btw this is my favorite KZread show!
Brian. What size water bowl do i need for my adult ball pythons? I'm looking into getting 7inch bowls for them for water dishes but i dont want them to be too small to soak or is that a good size
