Excellent. Thank you. I lost over 50 lbs on healthy keto and intermittent fasting with Dr. Berg. I am hooked. This has worked for me better than anything I have ever tried in my 53 yrs. I'm looking for good keto recipes because I've become bored with just the normal salad, salmon/chicken and veggies routine. I want to spice up my dishes. I so enjoyed your friendly easy going style and Keto help, I’ve just subscribed. Thanks for your great videos. My doctor told me to loose weight! OMG as a 74 year old female I knew that was going to be hard. I have mobility issues so strenuous exercising isn’t going to happen. However I’ve tried to follow the Keto diet, and I’m pleased to say that so far, within 4 months I’ve lost over 30 pounds. I don’t have all the bloated digestive problems anymore. Great! My budget is very thin though, so I can’t afford high-end foods like specialty butters, milks and eggs. But what-the-heck! If an old gal like me can loose 30 pounds in 4 months on plain grocery foods, so can many others. Keep up your great wonderful videos!!

When I first started keto, I ended up giving it up, because every time I came to KZread trying to find recipes, it seemed like everyone was trying to pass scrambled eggs as bread, or whatever low carb recipe I was trying to find. I started experimenting on my own, and feel so validated by watching your channel. When food is delicious, and there is a variety, I don’t have trouble staying on keto. You have posted so many amazing recipes. I do keep plenty of vegetables, and I don’t foresee ever giving up fruit completely, and I haven’t had any issues having a couple servings of fruit each week. I like that you incorporate onions, tomatoes, and peppers in your recipes. I do the same, and since I use them in moderate amounts, carbs have never been an issue. I cannot begin to tell you, how helpful your recipes and tips have been. I’ve even been able to convince my sister and brother-in-law to explore low carb options. In a short time, they both experienced benefits. I think you have one of the best channels on the topic. Thank you.

I can't tell you enough of how much keto way of eating changed the way I am... From having 10x more energy, weight loss of 40 lbs., way more mobile so I can ride a bike and work out and golf etc... many of my family members asking me HOW I lost weight and how dangerous the keto diet is and that eating meat and low carbs will wreck my kidneys -(ha, ha)--- I just laugh and tell them to keep eating cookies, cake, ice cream, soda, donuts etc.. and I will too (the keto way as your recipes is awesome). MANY Keto Haters NEVER tried to live this lifestyle and have NO IDEA of the many foods you could eat (many vegetables and great salads) and my huge family are starting to ask me so many questions about keto as they see so many keto foods at Costco and many other grocery stores and I tell them everything you learned about the foods to eat from our government agencies is ALL to keep you fat so the doctors and pharmacies can make money from you :)

What my sister taught me (and she isn't keto) is to prep as much as 5 lbs if ground beef at a time. She likes to add just onion, garlic, and chopped bell peppers to the beef. She divides it into one pound lots in freezer bags, and they can be used for pasta sauce, a shepherds pie, tacos, or whatever. She adds the seasonings for the dish to the meat when she heats it up, and just goes from there.

I saute my thinly sliced (like cole slaw thin)cabbage in butter, or bacon fat, or avocado oil without boiling first. Salt, pepper & garlic added. I cook it as if it's a stir fry. If I'm in a bit of a hurry & don't want to wait for the sauteeing to fully break down the cabbage, I stir fry for a few minutes for flavor & carmelizing, then I add a 1/4 Cup of water & put the lid on to steam. Or I just eat it slightly crunchy, which is delicious! Stir frying it also keeps the house from smelling "farty" (as my son likes to say) & the family is more likely to eat it. I mix thinly sliced RED cabbage with thinly sliced regular green cabbage. So it's delicious AND beautiful.

@@switchhazel3517 It is - but cheaper than eating out. I also get much of these foods at Aldi. If you have a Grocery Outlet Bargain Market nearby, they sell grass fed meats, uncured bacon etc. Mine even had low carb Cauliflower pizza crusts. (My Walmart sells them too.) There is definitely a way to eat less expensive keto. I buy avocados and other produce at Costco or Sam's Club. Like she said in this video, cut your produce up rather than buy it pre-cut. Plus, I remind myself that I'll be spending less on health care costs later on. This way of eating is so good for your body. I am definitely not sick as often now eating this way too.

Berries/fruits CAN be washed to last longer! You must wash them with vinegar and cold water; soak them for a few seconds and then rinse.. I use Apple Cider Vinegar. After rinsing, dry off in paper towels. Then store them in containers back into the fridge. You can add a paper towel in the container to soak up any leftover moisture as well. Hope this helps : )

Me too. I went from 132lbs to 97lbs in 4 months. I feel like I knew all of these things forever. I also learned a lot in my A&P class and figured if carbs turn to sugar which is stored as fat if you don't burn it off the same day. I then cut them out of my diet for an entire year. I stayed at the 97 for a very long time, That is how I actually found out about Atkins.... I believe it was in 2001 for me. So now that I am in my 40's and well over the 130 mark I am back at it and after 5 days I see a huge difference in my waistline and back bra band fat. Good luck everyone. it really does work.

Great clear info and inspo. Thanks 😊 Just with the berries the ones i get might be fresher picked from the local farms here in New Zealand so this works. Fill a bowl with water a splash of acv put berries in (cut tops of strawberries first) and agitated a bit then drain and pat dry on bench with paper towel. Store in air tight container with new paper towel on top and bottom. They last for ages and super clean and plump.

Thank you! What a helpful and positive video (not to mention, very well presented!) I have tried Keto before, and it works for me, but I always get bored because I never have something exciting to look forward to. My choices are limited to meat, cheese, eggs, basically. And that is because I didn't know how to do keto baking or create keto breads, fluffs, and such. Your video has changed everything! I can't wait to start cooking!
