I haven't read all the books.... so, I don't know why everyone laughs at hufflepuffs, but IM HUFFLEPUFF AND PROUD.

I got sorted into Slytherin this June. Many people hate Slytherins because we are 'evil', which is not true. Tho we do have this sneaky 'badass' spirit, which can be good to some. I used to be really shy and not very confident, but a while after being sorted into Slytherin, I realized that nothing and nobody can stop me, and if people have a problem with me, why should that bother me? Slytherin might be the house you call 'powerhungry', 'selfish' and 'ignorant', but you're just seeing it from the wrong angle. We are boosting our self esteem, picking ourself up, and you know what, my house taught me that life is mine and I can do whatever the heck I want. I'm a Slytherin, and I'm proud.

I'm a Hufflepuff, and when I was sorted I felt really sad about it. But now I couldn't be more proud of being a Hufflepuff. I think it's not just about the qualities you have, but about what you values most. And the house you belong to builts your personality too, I've changed a lot since I became a badger. So, if you got a house different from what you expected, maybe you thought about it the wrong way. Think, what is more important for you? Courage? Intelligence? Ambition? Or maybe loyalty and justice? Remember, even Neville Longbottom didn't seem a Gryffindor at the beginning. And feel ok with your house, because all them are important, and awesome, and all them have good and bad sides. No one is better than no one.

I thought I was a Ravenclaw for many years. Until I finally got a pottermore, and I was sorted into HUFFLEPUFF. I was pretty upset. So, I ignored it, and told myself "It's just a stupid online quiz, you are a Ravenclaw". But now, I think I am definitely a Hufflepuff. I am extremely loyal, if someone tells me not to tell someone something, I wont. And I am a people person!

I actually thought I was a Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. Imagine my disappointment when I found out that I was a HUFFLEPUFF. At that point I thought even Slytherin would be better. I took the pottermore sorting test many times and I have settled with Hufflepuff(yet again). I think I'm pretty satisfied though, because they are (supposedly) the nicest house out of the others (not sure about myself, I don't honestly consider myself to be kind).They are also very loyal and honest(still skeptical whether that's me). Anyway, house pride everyone!

epicmaddie My experiences went along the same lines, but I thought I was a Gryffindor for many years. When I finally got Pottermore, I was sorted into Slytherin. I refused to believe it at first, and my number one reaction was NO. NO. PANSY PARKINSON. NO. I kept making more Pottermore accounts, and I changed my answers/looked at posts that told you what answers to pick to get into Gryffindor, and then I finally tried one more time and got into Gryffindor. But now I've finally really looked over myself, and I've accepted that I am not a Gryffindor (I don't just charge into things and be brave/stupid), I analyze it first to see if it will benefit me or the situation. So I've logged back on to my original Slytherin account, and I've fully accepted that I am a Slytherin.

All the houses have their positives. If there was one thing that JK Rowling messed up on in the series, it was to make the readers think that houses like Gryffindor were better than houses like Slytherin and Hufflepuff. Readers who didn't investigate further on the matter will always be prejudiced that way(on pottermore, I believe that you have noticed that Gryffindor has the most members while Hufflepuff is last and Slytherin 2nd last). I'm not sure whether that many people are that brawny and (unfortunately) dumb, or have also followed Amy's lead and created "fake" accounts that didn't portray their true character at all, but there you have it.

This video makes me SO happy! What a lovely list. Super proud to be a Hufflepuff.

I was sorted into Ravenclaw on Pottermore. People think this house is just full of the smart-kids. It's true that we generally have the most intelligent students and are the most dedicated to learning, but this doesn't necessarily mean school-smarts, we're good at what we like! Ravenclaws are the most accepting house and love diversity, which is surprising because most think that Hufflepuffs are the most accepting. Ravenclaws believe that people should wear what they want, say what they want and be who they are! Don't underestimate the Ravenclaws because we're just as important as the rest!

Dobby loves hufflepuffs! They're so friendly and always hangs around in the kitchen!

I always thought I was a Ravenclaw 'Cause I'm weird, i'm smart but don't want to work to hard and I've got an enormous amagination. Plus Blue is my favorite color so I wanted that color in my room... I took the test... I'm officially... A... RAVENCLAW I was right all along.

You have access to viewing the lake in the Slytherin common room, so you can see all the merpeople and their settlements.

I was originally sorted into SLytherin like you but got resorted into Hufflepuff with the new quiz. When that happened, I freaked out. As in, laying in the middle of the hallway face down for half an hour after nearly screaming and taking the quiz over, freaked out. I ended up taking the quiz three times to get back into Slytherin, but out of the 6 quizzes I've taken on the old and new websites combined, I've been sorted into Slytherin and Hufflepuff each three times. I firmly believe that I am in the middle of these two houses and frankly, I'm quite ashamed of my meltdown of being a Hufflepuff. I have a good friend who is a Hufflepuff and another who is a Gryffindor so I'd like to believe that I'm quite diverse for a Slytherpuff. I love to think that I'm this awesome hybrid of polar opposite houses, it makes me feel powerful. SLYTHERPUFF PRIDE!!

I'm a Ravenclaw and it makes me happy to be in a house that recognizes book-smart and creative-smart (see Luna Lovegood) to be neccessary, to know that open-mindness is necessary to intelligence.

I was so embarrassed I took the Pottormore quiz so many times I wanted to be a Griffendor hero But now I love Hufflepuff and who wouldnt want these traits! Uhm, every house has their symbols right. Ravenclaw means "an eagle's nails". And the names of the houses come from the finders names, not from animals. If we go by your logic Hufflepuff's symbol should be Pygmy Puff.

I'm a hufflepuff. I'm a also happy to say I never thought of myself as being in another house, but I feel badly for people who get a shock from being sorted into hufflepuff. This video definately made my night, great job. : )

I am a Hufflepuff. Before I took the Pottermore test I thought I would be put in Ravenclaw; but I'm actually glad that I wasn't. Hufflepuff is a house filled with amazing people. If I was in Ravenclaw, I would freak out about failing a test. If I was in Gryffindor, you know what, forget that. I'm too big of a wimp to ever get put into Gryffindor; and the Sorting Hat would never torture me by putting me into Slytherin. Not that Slytherin is bad, but I'm a muggle-born. Hufflepuff is just a house filled with amazing people who will except you for you, not your blood. In Prisoner pf Azkaban the Sorting Hat literally said that Hufflepuffs are "most worthy of admission" that just proves how amazing we are. And you are totally right. Hufflepuffs throw the best parties. And everyone is invited.

Slytherin! (Although I was a pre-Pottermore Ravenclaw) at first I had a bit of an 'omg I'm mean' crisis, but now I'm pretty happy being a snake, we work hard, play harder and snakes are freakin cool! Plus I can listen to The Parselmouths as much as I want, I mean really what kind of name IS Hermione?

Forget about Pottermore. Forget about any other sorting quiz. HOW do you really feel? WHO do you think you are DEEP in your heart, without actually having to tell somebody (because then you are at risk of being laughed at or being scorned)..? Be honest with youself. If you find a house which you feel any serious compatibility with, then that one must be your real house. That is who you REALLY are. I, for example, had been missorting myself in a wrong house for my whole early adulthood. I always thought that I had to be a Gryffindor, since "all decent people were in Gryffindor". Deep in my heart, I had known that I did not belong there, but because we did not have the chance to really KNOW the three other houses, I was kind of content in Gryffindor. But then I did many online tests online and italways sorted me in Ravenclaw or Slytherin. And so did the Pottermore test - I was sorted in the house of Snakes. I could not believe it, I was no serial killer, prejudiced snob or psychopath! At least the books made all Snakes look like that. And so I promtly deleted my Pottermore account, and tried it another time. This time, I chose my second best questions. Another Slytherin. Deleted account. Another test - Slytherin or Gryffindor. I chose Gryffindor. But then... hmm. I don´t feel it, girl. Another account - Hufflepuff. hell no. Not that I would dislike being one, I actually love Puffs, but I just KNOW it is not me. Not that I am not loyal or hard-working, but... just no. Another account - Ravenclaw. Ha! I though. I KNEW I was smart (Mensa). But then, when I was thinking about it - I felt like having all the needed traits, but I did not feel "at home" in that house. So I read the comparison of Slytherin and Ravenclaw. And then only it started dawning on me. Deep in my heart, despite being ashamed of these traits, I have always been unhealthily ambitious, cunning, resourceful (ex-journalist) and all that stuff. And so I deleted my Ravenclaw account and I tried to answer the test once more, HONESTLY, to see where The wise hat puts me. And it was Slytherin. It took me like a month to reconcile with that thought, but now I KNOW for sure it is my house. About time! ;-)

I know a lot of people proud to be in Slytherin! It's a great house! I was sorted into it on Pottermore but I don't connect with it as much as Ravenclaw, the house I was chosen for on the Hogwarts Extreme RPG. I used to not like either of those houses very much and preferred Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, but then when the later books came out and I read the welcome letters for all the houses I liked them more, and now realize that Ravenclaw is the house I would be in. When I was younger I thought for sure I was either Gryff or Puff because I thought Ravenclaws were quiet and mostly studied all day and that Slytherin's were dark wizards by default. I had a birthday party with a few friends and we pulled houses out of a cup (we only had Gryff Puff and Claw because there were only 6 of us so it would be even), I got Gryff and my best friend at the time got Claw, and then the next year at school they did house colors with red green blue and yellow and I got red and she got blue so we took that to mean the sorting hat-er, cup-had been correct and just went with it. :P Before Pottermore I didn't even know leadership was a Slytherin-valued quality, or that Ravenclaw was about being creative and unqiue just as much as being smart (which I am, but I've always known intelligence doesn't automatically mean Ravenclaw because of characters like Hermione and McGonnagall).

I'm Hufflepuff & Gryffindor.>- Sometimes I'll have people saying Hufflepuff is 'the stupid house.' To be fair, Hagrid called them a load of Duffers haha. :) And some people might cheat to be in Gryffindor, or tell you that you did. But I personally love them equally, and have so much trouble deciding! So I'll forever be a... GryffylPuff?? xDD

Hagrid never said they were duffers he said "Everyone says Hufflepuff are a lot o duffers but-" and then he got cut off. He was indicating that he was gonna say something else and he might've have been saying something good about Hufflepuff. We just don't know for sure.

pottermore put me into Slytherin, but I know I'm a Ravenclaw. I've always been really good at learning new things and I love trivia. I was also always good at retaining information for tests in school, not that that's a super important skill, but still one that Ravenclaws would definitely have.

Every house is a good one. If you really don't think that you are, take other tests to be sure. Every house test I have taken including Pottermore has sorted me into Ravenclaw. When you are sorted sometimes you don't like the results... you just have to accept them.

People always forget: Ravenclaws aren't just "the smart kids" They're the most creative, acceptable and are mostly interested in things they can solve at the moment. Not things thet ones learned in their life (even though we're learn quite fast) So it might be you're a quik study, but if you're good at planning, leadership and if you don't give up quikly.... you're a Slytherin.

I am a Ravenclaw, but I like Hufflepuff, too. My friends Tabitha and Adam Stevens are Hufflepuffs! in fact, I believe that I am a mix of both Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, to be honest!

I am a proud badger and I am proud because even though people make fun of our house (all the time) I still defend it while being all of the traits of a Hufflepuff and with that I am really proud to be a badger

Our lives are just so full of love and enjoyment, that we don't bother poking in our noses in other's business - we're literally busy living in bliss. Also, we tend to live better doesn't mean we're weak when it comes to survival traits - to live this good and carefree had a cost - going through dark times, traumatising events which we don't wanna remember, of course. Hufflepuff is, spiritually speaking, a bliss state a Human achieves after the completion of necessary survival traits like protection, financial stability, etc. - so spiritually, Hufflepuff is the most elevated house when it comes to a human's purpose on Earth. (Further awakening goes beyond houses) ; which means, we've already excelled in survival traits. Being kind and generous doesn't mean we can't punch in you in the gut; our WHOLE house fought against Voldy. Yet, we don't think we're better or worse than anyone or any house - we only, or me, as a Hufflepuff has one principle - we're all equals. Yes, Ravenclaws are intelligent, but Hufflepuffs are hard working, and if you are hard working you can achieve anything and be smarter than anyone. Proud to be a Hufflepuff!

I pretty much always knew that i was a Ravenclaw. When i first read the books as a child, i considered every house. I was not brave, i was not very ambitious and not hardworking. Then, when Ravenclaw was first metioned, i knew where i belonged. When i signed up for Pottermore, i got the Claw straight and i was almost crying that i came there. Now, as i am getting back into the fandom and seeing behind the fassades and realizing that a house is much more than just a thing in a book, i feel so good as a Ravenclaw.

I'm in Ravenclaw, I didn't use the Pottermore though. I've just always been interested in understanding how things work, especially if nobody knows the answer (yet). That's why I'm doing an Astrophysics PHD now. I don't have a problem with anybody in the other houses.

HufflePuff pride, I wish my friends would stop laughing.......

This was such an amazing video! So funny, and so many Potter jokes that only "true" fans would get Ugh I hate that I just said that- oh well, I'm a Slytherin. I can say what I like and if you disagree I'll get my father's people to curse you.

literally the same thing happened to me I was adamant that I was a little Slytherin that grew into a Hufflepuff.

When I got sorted, I really expected to be a Ravenclaw - good grades, an annoying smart-aleck and all that. But I got sorted to Hufflepuff and the more I thought about it, the more it felt correct. The traits that make you a Hufflepuff such as kindness and patience are - in my opinion - the most important ones, and I'd prefer to be seen as kind than intelligent.

NOTE: THE POTTERMORE TEST IS A GUIDE. IT SORTS PEOPLE WRONG ALL THE TIME. I'm pretty sure it sorted J.K. wrong and it's sorted me into 3 different houses in two weeks.

And for me I'm a slytherin. The reason why I'm proud is; I LOVE snakes a whole lot, and not only do I think their cool but cute looking. Ever since I was little my favorite colors were always Green, Silver, and Black. I 've been told by many that I am cunning and I actually think that comes in handy. There's so many reasons why I'm proud to be a slytherin. But slytherins aren't always mean and nasty and J.K. even stated so. One of the reasons why they are is because most houses 'fear'/ them? I'm not sure of which is the right word. But like I said most houses try to stay clear from them due voldemort. However some in slytherin are NOT all bad but the reason why they act bad is because since people are already running from they take advantage of the situation. It's like if you want the last slice of cake, they'd use the fact someone is afraid to get their way. And in other ways it's just fun to joke about i and let the other houses think what they want and kinda play with their minds. I also don't mind being in the dungeons, cause I love cold places and not to mention leather. lol

I have many friends from different houses and two of my best friends come from Raven claw while I myself am a Hufflepuff. I really wanted to be in Ravenclaw because I wanted to be known for being really good and knowledgeable about something, but my own house proved to me that I dont need to be academically advanced because I have fixed a lot of my friends problems and im always there to help out no matter who they are or what they are going through and Ive found im best at giving advice.

Pottermore put me in Gryffindor !!!!

I thought I was a Ravenclaw and I took the actual test and I was sorted into hufflepuff. I was upset at first. But now I’m happy because Hufflepuff’s are kind and they have a solution for every problem. We aren’t afraid to color outside the lines and be ourselves.I personally think that our house is the most creative house and the best at heart. I’m proud to be a diagnosed Hufflepuff💛

for a long time i thought i was a proud gryffindor, mainly because the rest of my family took the quiz and all got gryffindor. however, i didn't take the quiz until many years and i got ravenclaw! even though i'm not a gryffindor, there are still amazing atributes that all houses have. Ravenclaws aren't afraid to be themselves. they are helpful and are self confident. im proud to be a ravenclaw :D

The exact opposite happened to me! I thought of myself as a Hufflepuff, then I was sorted into Slytherin and I was really upset. Now I'm obsessed with Slytherin and I love it. I realized that I'm a person who needs to acknowledge that she has a dark side, even if it's hidden under some Hufflepuffy layers.

Huffle pride. Numerous reasons some are even canon, tonks (one of the most ba characters in the whole series), newt scamander (author of one of the required textbooks) and Cedric diggory to name a few.

I am a kinda shy and melow Hufflepuff surrounded by Griffendors and let me tell you it is SO FUN. Like you don't realize it but it can be enjoyable to be dragged in to random friend groups by your friends.

Ever since I read the books as a little kid, I knew I was a Ravenclaw. My first research project was on WWII at the age of SEVEN and it was totally of my own volition during the summer just before the 2rd grade! So when Pottermore sorted me into Ravenclaw, I was super happy! I value knowledge, and I think it's a great thing to be curious. You learn a lot about the world and others by being that way :)

Hufflepuffs not only live near the kitchen and get snacks whenever, they also help out a lot in the kitchen. I will NEVER understand why people will insult the house that feeds you.

Nymphadora (Tonks or Dora) is my favorite character so being a HufflePuff is awesome

I don't know why but it reminds me that a girl I know complained that she got sorted into Slytherian, which fits her well, but says she's a Gryffindor. She always says she's brave but she's not, she always says "I can't do this and that because of my anxiety" because she tries to find an excuse always. I used always a lot, oopsie daisy.

The dorms are cool, (any weather you want, nice and cozy, no outsider has EVER gotten into their common room in over 1,000 years, true fact) the people are nice, (it's practically in their resume, Hufflepuffs are darn NICE) as she said in the video, 24/7 access to kitchens, (YAY!) and best of all, J.K. I'm part of Ravenclaw I am proud of it because I think that it really a place where you are encouraged to be who you are no matter how eccentric.

I love Hufflepuff! But I've always been sorted into Gryffindor on PotterMore which I was a little upset about as Hufflepuff was my desired house, but Im sticking with Hufflepuff cuz I kinda feel I belong there way more then I belong in Gryffindor. Hufflepuff too!!!! I thought I was Griffindor, just because everyone is in it, but then I decided to know the houses better, so I changed my mind. Hufflepuss always include everyone, no prejudice; and we are loyal (don't say a world about my family and friends, I mean it) and kind and fair. I mean, I don't only feel I belong, but I also want to never stop trying to be "more" Hufflepuff.

I've taken the quiz on Pottermore 3 times in the past, and I have always been a Hufflepuff. However, I randomly took the quiz again just the other day and was sorted into Gryffindor. So now I'm really confused lol

I'm in slytherin. my friends say I closely resemble Snape and draco malfoy. even before they knew I was in slytherin.

Pottermore sorted me on slytherin, and before the text I've always felt a slytherin so I'm so happy.

Hufflepuff, natural born and raised. And for the reason of pride: "I think we should all want to be hufflepuff's" (Jessica, J.K Rowling's Daughter), "The Gryffindor's comprise...that's just the way it is...the hufflepuff's stayed for a different reason. They weren't trying to show off, they weren't being reckless, that's the essence of Hufflepuff house." And it's true. They have all of the qualities that a wonderfully good and just person with true values should be. And that's why I am now proud that I was and will always be a natural born Hufflepuff.

I am a Slytherin and proud! People always think Slytherins are evil but frankly we aren't. Every house has to have some rude people. Determination can bring you anywhere in this world.
