Hi Don I watched a lot of your videos before my interview I found them very helpful in preparing. I’m pleased to say I got the job. Thanks so much
You're like the greatest dad pep talk ever. Charisma, captivation, sense of humour, information, you have it all, and it even has a pretty red bow on top.

I was employed for more than six months now, before my interviewing day I watched a lot of guidance videos. Thank god bless you and be safe at all times.
thank you very much Don, i applied only to one position, i followed your video tips, took notes, and applied everything from your videos. and i got hired. thank you very much
A strange aspect of the current labor shortage is that job interviews I've been a part of recently have felt much more like "sales pitches" for the position rather than an evaluation of my suitability as a candidate. It's very disorienting to have an interviewer not ask you a single question for the first ten or twenty minutes of an interview while they explain why you should work for them. After some interviews, I find myself asking if I was even interviewed at all...

The quality standard has gone down. Many times when I worked or talked with someone from the US, I wonder, how come they got the job...

I’ve maybe experienced that once or twice but that has not been my experience, personally. But the questions have been largely super easy compared to a few years ago.
Thank you! For all that you do Don! Your insight has got me through five stages of interviews! Although not all concepts were used, I was able to tailor the knowledge you provided on this platform to help guide me through the entire process. Now I am finally on track with a new journey with a new company! Thank you! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

You're doing a fantastic job Don, educating people! Thank you so much for everything you do!
Again Don, this is a great presentation. I was asked several of these questions in an interview last week. Thank you for being fantastic at what you do.
Thank you for this
I wanted to thank you. I just finished graduate school and had an interview yesterday that will (hopefully) lead me into an entirely different career path. I was super nervous, but watched several (maybe 80,000) of your videos and incorporated your suggestions into the interview. Although I have not yet been offered the job, I received a follow-up email at 5:21 this morning, so I think they're interested. Thanks for providing help and support with your expertise. We appreciate you.
Hi Dan, thank you for all your advice and videos. They've been really helpful, so much so that I interviewed yesterday and was offered the position on the same day. I'm now looking forward to starting my new job in the near future. Thank you once again Sandra
Thank you for this topic! 😊

Ok. Why are manhole covers round? I always thought they were useless questions. Thanks for confirming the employee did not know what they are doing.

Some of what I was asked today were the questions you've discussed. It will be awhile before I hear anything. The interview was much smoother for me, though. Thanks!

they don't really need help. all they have to do is show up with enthusiasm. But these videos will certainly give them insight into interviews.
Nice video
All the C performers are at home sitting on the couch eating potato chips. Considering this is on You Tube, we could all potentially be sitting on the couch eating potato chips while watching this. Ok, to be fair, that's a dumb joke. I'm actually multi-tasking. Listening to this while I study. And eat potato chips.
Thank you

This guy’s good
Thanks, as always. I definitely struggle with achievements to wow; I've been excellent at my positions - but it is simply being really good at my job duties - it is nothing like increasing revenue by x% or creating new programs - how do I express that yes, I am very dedicated and highly proficient, but did not necessarily make changes in the company?
I have a technical question. You call these 10 questions that can predict success. Can you show me a scholarly paper that does a analysis of these predictors for instance some kind of regression analysis? Because I would be interested in knowing what percent of variance in success is captured by these 10 questions as well as the inter-correlations between the 10 questions themselves. I'm just asking out of interest. As well such a paper would operationally define "success", for instance does that mean the person is still employed at the company one year later? What is the metric for success? So it's my example we would be predicting the probability that the person hired is still at the company one year later which is a zero one type of variable thus indicating a logistic regression analysis.
Most of the accomplishments i have wernt really at a "job" and that was probably due to not going after challenging more exciting jobs for myself i grew up in a VERRY poor, abusive, drug and alcoholic environment i have put an EMENSE amount of pressure on myself to go in the opposite direction. I just went and got a job and did the challenging exciting things outside of employment such as getting my parent coaching certification i do that for no cost, my cleaning business, iv been studying law myself for a year now. I dont watch tv like ever if i have free time im reading or learning something. I never know how to word those things in a more professional politically correct way.
Due to recent layoffs, I lost my job 3 months ago. I was at vo level... The recent job offer I have received is avp level... Will that be taken as spiral down for my future interviews
@5:54 ..just because someone has been "laid off"..aka "made redundant", does not mean they are not a valuable worker. The last company (a large telco) I worked at for over 15 years, would have redundancies on average every 12 months, with at least a few hundred people each time. I know when my position was farmed out to India, hence making my position redundant, around 1000 people were laid off over the same year. Before you start misjudging people because of layoffs, you should really ask why, and what financial position the company was in.
I see what I did wrong on my last interview now.
