There are a lot of people thinking that flipping is "easy". You make it look easy, with your stunning results. However, after looking at lots of youtube channels.... clearly it's NOT just a matter of "paint old furniture and it'll look stunning". There is a lot of SKILL involved - and you clearly have that talent. Well done!! Loving your channel.

Amen to that!! I just started flipping and I'm on my 5th piece.. A lot of trial and error as everything varies so much such as dry times depending where u live, humidity, every piece of furniture is so unique and what works on one piece fails on the other... Flipping although rewarding is by far the hardest thing I've done...

I'm a doctor. Don't know anything about furniture flipping. It's nothing related to my field. I came across your channel once on the creator on the rise section. Since then I've been watching your content. Pleasant background music, little bit about your family, and some furniture flipping making me stick to you channel. BTW Flip no: 4 is my favourite. That warm taupe + wooden brown color combination looks great.

I was a little pessimistic about the turnout of the one at 49:40 -57:20 because originally it was such a gorgeous wood but omg she completely nailed it by adding a stunning color in the perfect tone and finish. I was speechless. She has great taste. And Yes, and flip four might be my favorite as well!

I love this. I am remodeling my downstairs bathroom. Removing the sink vanity. It includes a piece that goes from the sink vanity across to the toilet. I want a Japanese, spa like look. The vanity needs to measure 29 L×20w. I can't find anything worth the cost or size in stores. I just want to build it or use a dresser. UPDATE: I found a potential cabinet that used to be a radio. Trying to find the perfect sink that fits the top that fits the dimension, without being too tall or big. I took the radio and wheels off to make it shorter. It has the piece on the decorative bottom that I may have to cut off like you do. Please help @DIY Wife! 😢😭. You are so amazing & talented!!

I have been entertaining the idea of furniture flipping to make extra money, and work out my creative muscles and came across this channel and am delighted that I did so. You have a great eye for style and I can tell that you can see the potential in the "before". Power tools have always intimidated me because I am such a klutz. I once got metal shaving in my eyes because I thought using a very powerful power drill was a smart and fast way to put together one of those cheap, cheap computer desks and I was wrong. So wrong. I feel a lot more confident about getting over that PTSD and what safety measures I should take beforehand. And what an inspiration you must be for the little one! Come on super mom!! What a supportive spouse and a lovely fam overall. 😃

I have already watched each video individually and I’m sitting here watching them all again because you are delightful to watch and learn. Each piece is a favorite in some form or another. But I gotta say that Sherwin Williams dark green inspired me to do something with that color. I’ve already made two trips to SW looking at that color. You are so inspirational on each piece you do. I can’t say enough about my admiration for your talent and vision.

Flip #4 is my favorite! I have a nice and pretty long dresser (20+ years old; pretty good wood) that I kept but no dressers. They were beyond repair but knew I wanted to transform the dresser to a storage area for my crafts and use as a work station. I am glad I found you and your comedic husband; will see how I can transform the dresser with no drawers……to a soon-to-be work station. Love your work!

Love all the projects. Impossible to pick a favourite. Is it hard to let them go after transforming them? They’re all so beautiful! Am loving the channel. So glad it came up in my feed. What you are doing is way better than anything HGTV has ever put out. I hope we get to come along on your adventures for years to come. I think you’re going to find your business explode before you know it. Also, I thought about midway through this video, do you sell the hardware you take off of the pieces? People are always looking for those vintage bits and bobs to either replace on their own pieces or to use for new projects to give that retro feel. They’re not always easy to come by.

That dresser is from the 1970s. My parents had one just like it. The head board of their bed had the same design and as a little girl my parents gave my brother and me chores to do. My job was to dust off and pledge the dresser. That design is not easy to clean but its really nice. They don't make dressers like that anymore. I give you a lot of credit for taking that hard task of making it look brand new and different. GREAT JOB!!!

I’ve been flipping furniture for 8 years now but took a break to travel with my husband this year. I’m so glad I found your channel cause I really got catch up in all the new trends. It’s inspiring to get back to simple design which is timeless. I love the graphics but not for every piece. Thank you for inspiring this grandma that timeless classics is good.

I’m totally with you! I’ve been flipping furniture for 10 years, and while a piece or two with graphics are awesome..classic colours and styles sell. Who has space in their homes for lots of graphics? I tend towards neutrals unless it’s a fun little thing. :)

Thank you! Someone else just criticized me for my boring plain style haha, so I’m glad someone else appreciates more neutral timeless pieces! I mean, I’m all for bold colors here and there but it has to be the right piece and the right color!

@@diywife absolutely! You really have a good eye for the business. The first dresser that was sooooo 70’s really offended the eyes in its before state. But the way you softened it and did the wood base made it sing! Even I, who loathes anything from the 70’s, would have loved it! I’m glad you saw the potential!

Each flip was gorgeous! Flip #1 Looks so modern. The creamy color along with the rattan knobs go perfect together! How to choose??? I loved them all, but I'm partial to sage green, so I especially loved flip #6. Love your great sense of style. The DIY base that you put on enhanced each one of them. You are very talented. Great to see that talent is not wasted! I believe that your 'little supervisor' will grow into this trade.

It was a dresser marathon! Absolutely love the bases you make to update the dressers. Generally I like brighter colors, not so neutral in my spaces. However, of the choices, the #4 was my favorite. 👍🏻💜

Woow, beautiful and inspiring work! A pleasure to watch your videos, I feel finally motivated to paint my old kitchen chairs thanks to you! I also must admit, for piece #7 I really hoped the beautiful intricate wooden panels won't get covered, although a beautiful end result, I think it would have looked amazing if the natural wood could have been seen and not covered.

At the beginning I thought this piece was beautiful with the gorgeous designs! I envisioned how much greater you could make it. I couldn't believe you went and painted it, twice. Then twice again with you final! With no natural wood looking details left! I couldn't even see the beautiful details with it painted solid off whit.. You made sure that anyone else that wanted to restore a wood detail would have a heck of a time trying to get that paint off.
