William Maya: I have a half-size axe, a hammer, multiple pocket knives, a set of throwing knives in my room and my fibreglass bow is outside, but arrows are hard to make, and I only have one, but you’d think the pocket knives (and my adept at close combat and knife fighting) would make up for that, even tho close combat is extraordinarily dangerous.

one of the more overlooked items for zombie apocalypse survival is a distillation column. If you can make high proof alcohol you have a means of disinfecting and sanitizing things, you have a way to help start fires, and you potentially also have a fuel source for a vehicle or generators. also, you can drink it for a good time at the end of the world.

I have a few more tips 1. A zombie apocalypse can really happen if the rabies virus mutates 2. The first few days of the zombie apocalypse will have extremely aggressive zombies that will run faster then you ( it does depend on how fast you are) and can some what talk 2A. Fully identify that your target is a human as stated the zombies will be able to talk the first few days. 3. You can notice if someone is hiding the fact that they are infected if there are becoming more aggressive and they might bite you before they fully turn. 4. So when it first starts just barricade your self in your basement then after a week or so you can finally come out 5. During a rabies zombie apocalypse guns and explosives are terrible because the zombies that were recently infected will run to gun shots and explosions. 6. You should use melee weapons such as a bat a sword anything that is not short such as a knife because if you miss the knife attack they can easily bite your arm 7. For a long ranged weapon use a bow or a pistol that has a suppressor with a decibel rate of around 30 and crossbows would be terrible because they have a very long reload time and for it to be quick you need to be very strong 8. If you want to live never be a hero you may see, selfish for this bit if you want to survive never be a hero. 9. If a rabies zombie virus did happen the military of whatever would instantly get rid of it and if they didn’t just get enough food and water for 1 year because at that point every bullet or arrow you shoot at a zombie will make there limbs fall right off as long as they are close to 1 year old

I've always endorsed the idea of making the biggest library in your area a priority to hit when you bug out. First aid, wilderness survival, army tactics, basic carpentry, small engine repair, sewing, basic agricultural, animal husbandry...you get the idea. Both immediately, incalculably valuable but also TONS of value 10 years on, cache 'em for future use.

Traps and setting up killzones are two things you should learn after basic survival and medical training.

If you ever find yourself in a zombie apocolypse, its best to carry a card that says "PLOT ARMOUR" so if ever you find yourself in a situation, pull out the card. Trust me it works, Ive seen it in movies.

by the way, make a disclaimer saying that you have to take off the tourniquet after shutting off bloodflow for a few seconds or else you will have to amputate the arm since it can no longer get bloodflow and cannot be controlled anymore by the person

Another option for making fire that is really easy to make is a fire piston. Make a tube out of wood, made a rod to go into the tube. Put a piece of cotton or other flammable material on the end of the rod and put it in the tube. Whack it down. The pressure causes the kindling to ignite making a coal. super simple.

also around your camp you should put fishing line with tin cans in the corners so when a zombie hit the line because it smells you then the cans will hopefully wake you up by clashing together like wind chimes, also the fishing line should wrap around trees so that its above the ground and cant just be stepped over

my zombie plan is to start a homestead in montana and build a cozy bunker under the house and then wait until the zombies decay then find other survivors and rebuild society

This is my list 1. Food and Water: Make sure you have enough of these essential resources to get you through at least a couple of weeks. 2. Shelter: Make sure you have a safe place to stay, such as an underground bunker or fortified building. 3. Weapons: You will need weapons to defend yourself against the zombies. 4. or hide somewhere secure for about a week to a fortnight so make sure you have the amount of food and water to last that long and make sure you are in a "safe area" like doors locked and barricaded, windows shut and what not. Then before water gets shut off, ill up your bathtub with water and every cup, pan, mug and container. This way when you can no longer get water you will have a supply of it spare. this also works for a nuclear fallout if you have time. Anyways back to the zombie side of things, my main point is that in a week or 2 there will be no food for them, and they should die in a day or 2 but i would leave it a week or 2 more just in case. Even though they are dead they still need food because the basics, cells and living organisms require food and can only last a day or 2 before their bodies defect and die. The zombies run out of food because they have eaten and infected all of it!

A better way to deal with the drinking problem is to distill water through boiling or using GLASS for sun distillation Reintroduce electrolytes with powdered Gatorade (which dry stores well)

Actually you can also fashion a hut by propping a log against a straight tree sideways, and then lining the sides with branches and brush (to keep the water out)
