4 months ago I went to my local authorized Omega jeweler and purchased a black dial Speedmaster Moonwatch sapphire sandwich. Now the white dial Speedmaster is all the rage and it is beautiful. Do I regret my $8k purchase? Not at all. If anything, I’m more sure than ever that my purchase was the correct one for me as I’ve wanted a black Moonwatch for decades. The sapphire sandwich is ideal for me, strap monster that it is. Currently I have it on an aftermarket black alligator band it is stunning.

I did the same around the 18 months ago. I love looking at other speedmasters and am currently contemplating going for the ‘grey side off the moon’ but it won’t be in place of my Moonwatch, which will always be my favourite.

I’m 65, and have had many watches come and go. Three weeks ago I bought a New Seamaster 300 Diver blue ceramic dial and bezel in blue rubber strap. I’m waiting for my Speedmaster Moonwatch with the hand wind and hesalite crystal. My stepdad got one for Christmas in 1969 and I’ve always wanted one.

Awesome watches! Amazing amount of background information about each one. Thank you for that and for bringing it to us with a wicked sense of humor. 😊

By far the best watch channel with a lot of humour in it! Very good move from watchfinder to your own channel.

Watch commentary with Andrew is like football commentary with Peter Drury. Football and watch reviews are great fun but it's extra special with them commentating.

I really like the white dial speedmaster, but I can’t reconcile that price, in a falling market, with the fact you could pick up a new moonwatch (with a discount) for 3.5k only a few short years ago.

I got the Berni Rolex 1908 Homage and a Customized DateJust with my daughter's lovely face as the dial from Parnis . My Customized datejust is so beautiful and I am mind blown. I think I have finished my search for the perfect watch and my mission is fulfilled :) I am just so happy to have the customized datejust.

For me, the Date Just Wimbledon Dial and Mint Green are still hot watches! And I luckily got the call for the 36mm Wimbledon yesterday and will pick it up from the Luzern Bucherer store next week! (8 months wait)

Back when Patek had integrity they disconnected the 3700. At that time they didn't even have a jumbo nautilus of any kind in the catalog. And a full size nautilus didn't return until the 3710 eight years later. A simple three hand jumbo wouldn't show up until the 3711 a full fourteen years later. And for those wondering how long it took for the WG 3711 to transform into the steel 5711 it was two more years.

For me the hottest watch is the one, which spent probably a lot of time on the shelf between its noble and sometimes much more expensive fountain pen cousins - Montblanc chrono 41mm with ceramic bezel and white enamelish dial. The price they asked was very incentive. So why not? The next "O", "T" or something likewise? Ain't neccesarily so! 😊

The white Omega is fantastic. Omega IMO makes the most beautiful dials and backs in the industry. This Speedmaster outdoes other similar chronographs. All the watches in this video are special in their own way.

Your commentary is about as polished as a grand seiko’s hand set. Has someone been rubbing your brain with wooden sticks? Awesome as usual Oh and to add. The seiko alpinist is like that recent Michelle yeoh/short round movie.
