Hi

Eric you should cover that there are "hidden" plays that used to be in Madden that aren't available anymore but you can access them when choosing specific playbooks like Run Balanced, Run Heavy, Run N Shoot etc. Had to hunt this down when someone ran I-Form Hulk on me recently

Man that is crazy, 2:38 I always audible from five wide to Goal line in my hurry up offensive scheme. It’s very effective for 3rd and short situations.

Until someone has a dime 1-4 package that can be broken down to a regular formation and shut that down. I had people try to do it and failed

That's a dumb idea, most ppl call defense based on situating and personnel. I see 2RB and 3TE. I'm going 5-2, 4-4, or goalline.... thats not a smart strategy.

@@willmc9722 It’s work for me especially in the red zone and 2 point conversion. If you go out in 4-4 defense for a example I am going stay in five wide and look for the Tight end/ linebacker mismatch.

@@willmc9722 I’m 100% with you except you’re gonna call goal line the first time and not be prepared at all for a 5-wide look. Basically, it keeps you off balance even if you know what you’re doing on defense.

You have to be careful with this because sometimes it makes someone trip over their own feet in the middle of a play whether it's passing or defense and now you just look goofy and gave up a big play. I like to use it right when I see someone scrambling to the outside pocket because I know they will be doing so for two to three seconds so if I trip and fall I have time to recover. At the very least, I know they are looking to throw the ball in the area I fell and that means they are not looking somewhere else.

Now this was super helpful! I get really frustrated when my defender stands there and watches a mobile qb run past them, or a receiver stands there when im scrambling. Like move and get open! So that right stick is gonna be helpful

To each player. You need three plays from each formations plus audibles. There should be way more plays that work than don't. In the struggle to win against different people and team schemes you need know defenses that are disgusiable easily that are turnover kings. Making each snap able to be called correct or changed by audibles, motions, or personally be productive are essential. Remember balancing play calls if you don't want a freak glitch or something to happen when you one-sided to much with close game.

There def is a tell when you flip your run plays. No matter when you decide to flip it. Whether it be as your walking up to get set or after your set. The QB talking icon lights up. The only difference is he touches his shoulders if he is already set. I Noticed this yrs ago.

But that comes up for every type of audible. While that is still visible, the actual signal the QB uses to flip the run isn’t.. so your opponent still has to guess if you just flipped, or adding extra blockers, or even fake hot routing

When is ea dropping a patch to actually fix the inactive boots when active and the resign glitches?

Does it work on old gen madden?

To give up in stead of holding left trigger and right stick just throw the ball out of bounds to avoid a sack and avoid losing yardage to throw the ball out of bounds just click right stick

What I used to do is use the matchup feature and when I used to see a safety matched up against my RB and FB I knew it was a LB blitz. I would put my WR on a quick slant and hot route both RB and FB to run routes to the opposite side of the field to drag both safeties towards that side, leaving the slant wide open. Another thing was when ppl would call CB blitz the closest LB would be “manned up” against the WR so I would see that and hot route to a streak. Unfortunately EA decided to take that matchup feature out the game so it’s a little harder now to figure out.

Another tip could be do NOT press turbo/acceleration on defense until you’ve touched the opponent. If you press turbo too quick, all the CPU speeds up - including your opponents. It’s helped me a lot defensively being patient.

I feel like there’s these cheesy plays, but this really is a game of chess 😂😂

I totally expected a joke video about game glitches or bugs and instead saw 5 things I didn’t know as a 20+ year player of Madden.

Can’t even play franchise, my DE freezes going to the right (don’t know why), and practice doesn’t end. EA cant make a game properly

Committing presnap to run sell out defense is never my play. On long development of runs where my zone has seven or more back I use it to make tackles. Tfl aren't the goal for me. If a extioc blitz can be sack or tackle for loss I do try. Keeping the opponent hurried, outnumbered, and having to settle for least possible play after play from all defenses and formations & coverages is my goal for each play. Field position is used by me guided by midfield. I might give up yards in their own behind thirty five side. By midfield and my side I use turnover plays hoped that I figured out during game and where they like to attack.
