Fact for No. 8 - that finch is immortal because there was a glitch around it but was patched a couple or so updates later; You could use anemo characters to pull the bird out of the cage then into the small pond next to it to make it drop a drumstick; if you leave then teleport back the material was still there but the bird respawned, so while slow, it was kind of a drumstick factory.

I find the bird in the Chasm being the only immortal one ironic since it's literal purpose is to die and indicate that there's are poisonous gases and the people should evacuate immediately.

Miner canaries were watched for fainting and weakness not dying, miners even invented tools to revive the canaries (both out of fondness for the bird and out of practicality as replacing all those birds constantly was pricey & tricky)

You can kill the canary in the chasm by dragging it out with jean and drowning it in the water

A little extra fact behind the Katheryne one, back before release, players(including myself) often got into the Mondstadt booth, and would get stuck because of the invisible barriers being weird. Hoyoverse decided it was best to patch it and prevent players from getting behind, and all regions since used the Mondstadt booth base, thus keeping it. Of course, there was no issue with players getting stuck behind Liyue's, and thus no reason to block them there.

I once got stuck behind the Inazuma Kathyrne. I logged out and logged back in to find myself behind her.

Furina can't walk on some of the water in the Fleuve Cendre. Might have something to do with it being sloped.

When you first walk in the grassy areas of mawtima forest paimon has a dialogue. She says sth like have you noticed it’s like the grass here is aware..or sth similar to that so I noticed the lighting up of the grass immediately haha

The thing that bugs me the most is that you cannot freeze the water in mondstadt's fountain. No matter what you do

I can imagine TCG being so big in Teyvat that you’d need reservations XD

2:05 as someone who deals with chairs a lot in the teapot, and other furnishings you can sit on, like couches, there is actually a limit to how close you can place a chair to an object before the 2 hit boxes to sit and that of the object overlap, effectively making the game turn off the option to sit so you don't actually get stuck in the case that the chair is in a weird spot (and you can see that with the blue legs that are in front of the chair when moving it. they indicate if the chair is in a spot that will allow for you to sit on it or not. if they are still blue, you can sit, and if they are red, you can't). or, to put that in other words, you can't sit on a chair that is still under the table. you need to pull it out and then you can sit on it. buuut, even with that you could sit on them, before they changed how and where you invited characters, so that's weird.

Just a quick note. you can stagger Katherine in every region. You can use geo traveler to get behind the counter in most areas and just attack her mercilessly.

5:40 fun fact about that bird... you can (or used to be able to) push the bird out of the cage with an anemo user like jean and into the little puddle nearby and drown it to get 1 fowl 😂💀

I'm guessing the reason you can't sit on the chairs is because they're NPC spawn points, which can be emptied at times. If you've ever waited long enough, NPC just.... dissappear when the time changes. They don't walk off into a house or anything, they literally de-spawn in fron of your eyes, so if you sat on those chairs when the NPC spawned, you'd be stuck. Also, the bird can be killed....if I remember right, someone pushed it into the water nearby, which killed it...and immediately respawned it, leading to infinite chicken.

The chair thing: in the main room, all chairs can either be occupied by npcs or used by the player when vacant. Maybe the ones in the side rooms are placed a bit close to the table so we can’t sit on them. And the bird, I learned about it from a comment… Kinda makes me sad for the little fella :(

I need "shy" animation for boys ❤ that would be so cute 🥰🥺 Also I somehow managed to get into Katherine place in Sumeru. I could stand near her like if we worked together, it was so funny 😂

Fun fact - before Celestia was updated to a 3d model, the moon in the sky was above it, meaning that if you were at the right angle were 2d Celestia and the moon would be in the same spot in the sky, Celestia was under the moon, was kind of creepy tbh and made me think of Scara's sky theory.

I didn’t know at least a few of these but that’s mainly bc I spend MUCH more time staring at the character menu than toying with small details in the open world map

The grass around the giant tree in Sumeru (Harvish something or other I can never spell it right) also flows when you walk on it! I noticed it around the Amrita pool but I think it affects all the grass in the area

my jaw dropped when the bird had burn applied but was still alive yet nahida died lmao

The cats tail chair thing might be to prevent errors with characters spawning when challenged in coop Also i managed to get those particles to glitch while in coop where they followed me no matter where i was in teyvat... no clue how tho haha

I onced managed to get in Katherine's booth on monstatd tho but dont remember if she flinched lol Do remember when i tryna jumped out it make my character circling around the counter

The glowy particles in Mawtiyima make me think of Avatar's rainforest. They're also in Vourukasha Oasis, and both also by day! Though I think Yaodie Valley in Chenyu improved on it with the butterflies rising from the grass

I think I remember being able to sit on those chairs when TCG first came out. When you invited a character, you always go to one of their rooms and then you sit on those chairs. But after the adeptal realm, it changed

It still applies the “wet” status on the player so it is still water. Maybe they coded it to be freeze-proof to keep the fountain aesthetic, maybe

yeah because its still water. There are more un-freezable water areas in game

i think the bird for number 8 can be drowned in a nearby pool over and over again once you move it there with jean and teleport there and back multiple times

I only knew the spincrystal, Crystalfly, and maytiyima Forest ones. But I’d also like to point out that the particles that come out of the grass are probably fireflies and they do appear in parts of Fontaine, Chenyu Vale, and I think they also appear is parts of inazuma but I might be wrong about that one

As a teapot main, I definitely noticed about the music names 😆

I knew about spincrystals, chairs and crystalflies, but the rest was new to me. Ty for telling!

Fun fact: the Katherine animation is actually possible in Sumeru! I got it by running up to her using Lynette's skill :D

You can hear the game's Leitmotiff in some places of Mondstadt, one that I recall now is near "Valley of Reminiscence" domain, if you stay a while, you get to hear the game's leitmotiff in a few minutes. Maybe it won't be the first song to play, but songs in this area are very short

I think the particle effects at the end are meant to be mushroom spores. Since Mawtiyama forest is made of giant mushrooms

I think it’s more about the accuracy of the throw. Someone said maybe it’s because Yuegui has a smaller hit box. I’m not really sure

I wanna tell u ab smt i just noticed. Idk if its for all (prob is) but yk those flowers that explode when u step on them? U have to walk on it and after few seconds it explodes but while using xianyun i discovered smt. When u plunge on one it automatically explodes.. like instantly.. so yea fun fact ig hehe and i dont think many know ab this-

I once saw somewhere that when you catch crystalflies, as they are pure elemental beings, they lose their wings by themselves. Maybe they dissipate or something? I don't think we have to personally pluck out their wings to get the core💀

As far as I know (I seem to think Diluc said this??? Maybe in an event???) Crystalfly wings are pure elemental energy and dissipate when caught - that said, if you give them elemental energy again they sprout new wings. In consequence, their wings are the elemental type of the energy around them - that's why you find the respective crystalflies near areas where large amounts of elemental energy were used and near statues of the seven. ... None of this explains coral crystalfles.

I only started playing since 3.3 so I had no knowledge from all events that came before. Coral crystalflies are decors in the teapot so they may function a bit differently

@@mirratheartistthey’re actually from the enkanomiya event in like version 2.5 or something idk when it was, the point is they are from the light realm (enkanomiya) whereas crystalflies are from the elemental realm (teyvat) so it probably has something to do with that. Also the reason you can buy them in the teapot is because they were only in that event so if you missed it you wouldn’t be able to catch them for your teapot, thus why they are sold

i always wondered what spincrystals did, but i kept forgetting to search it up..

There are a ton of unfreezeable water in the game like the little area near the blacksmith in liyue ^^

Noelle and Sucrose neing the only two Shy pose chars... 🥰

Idk if this has been brought up before ever but the first fact reminded me of this. The water on the jade chamber can apply hydro to your characters but it cannot be frozen.

Butterfly wings and lizard tails.... Ive always been curious why we rip wings off butterflies (total H.I.M reference lol)

I only knew a single fact and that was the one about the crystalfly bodies because I looked at them up close when the game got released as I did with many other things.

ah this is really interesting!! as a fellow niche genshin facts enjoyer this was really fun to watch on the topic of timmies birds, did u know theres a species that only exists on timmies bridge and nowhere else in the game? its called crimsonflank pigeon and the one on the bridge has been the only one in the game since 1.0. its also in the middle which makes it hellish to try to catch for the teapot lol

About the first one, I think it’s because it’s inside, if I remember correctly you can’t get burnt by a fireplace that’s inside a house, as is the case for dawn winery, I could be wrong tho

The entire 2 years I've been playing genshin, I had absolutlely no idea what spin crystals were for! I just kept on collecting them and always wondered what they were for. But I never bothered to look it up because I was more focused on the lore and beating the game.

A little tip for you, you need to set the voice settings higher because your voice is very smooth i almost hear nothing

A nice, neat collection of little known details😊 I knew about a few more of these than I thought I would. The immortal finch can't be captured either😂 For the Spincrystals I think the number is just a placeholder, maybe until the OST album is officially released? (Probably a different reason, but I can't think of one😅) I found out about the Spincrystals during Sumeru release because I was obsessed with tracking which number they are and matching it with the right name, and also where I found them😅 In fact, I have a file on this in my phones notes, lol. This was before I found out about the Interactive Map, but I still do this just because. Since I started it, I might as well keep it up😂 I'm still waiting for them to update the names of the rest of the Fontaine Spincrystals before I activate them in the music player. Once they do, the proper name (i.e "Flowing River") will be displayed in the item description in the bag and on the list in the music player, but when activating it will still say "Activate Spincrystal X ?" or something like that. Didn't know the one about crystal flies. Nice video❤

I think the only one I knew about was the finch, as I probably tried to kill it during the quest. This was a very interesting vid, thx ❤❤❤

Nice! I think it might be because Yuegui has a pretty small hit box and the skill repositioning Yaoyao makes aiming a lot more difficult

As a tcg main the chair fact pains me everyday. Me and my friend usually sit together at the tables when we’re making decks but sometimes npcs don’t allow us to sit at the same table. And seeing the two free seats in the side rooms….yeah. ALSO THE COUCH ONLY BEING ABLE TO HOLD ONE PERSON

i think the reason its like that its because before they changed how matching worked with a new room the players you duel usually ended up in one of those rooms
