I wasn’t a fan of you not putting timestamps, but god the game recs were solid. I loved your unique taste of games. I feel your list standouts from other videos, as the games are actually considered for a mobile handheld in mind and not just games meant for a “miniature computer” that’d you have to plug a mouse and a keyboard at the end of the day.

I just finished Ori and the Blind Forest on my Steam Deck and it was an incredible experience. The "boss" encounters at the ends of the 3 main areas were a really refreshing and surprising take on the idea, the game didn't overstay its welcome by filling it with nonsense that turns a magnificent 10-12 hour experience into a frustrating 20+ hour experience for no reason. Ori gets in, tells it story, and gets out. It does very well what it set out to do and I could not recommend it enough to the lover of the platformer.

Ori and the Will of the Wisp is also a great game alltho be it slightly longer and more combat focused. They borrowed a lot of mechanics from Hollow Knight for this one. You might like it too.

Sunset Overdrive goes on sale for like $6. Runs well on SD. One of the funest open-world games. It's made by the Spiderman developers

I finished from start to finish my first game on steam deck it was LEGO Builder’s Journey a nice cozy game. I tied a few smaller games from my backlog. Also to any steam deck user do not skip a short tech demo released by Valve (the only thing it could be a bit longer): Aperture Desk Job

Respects for appreciating the masterpiece that's Ori! The will of the wisps is also legendary! Can't recommend it enough.

Dirt 3 is one of my favorites. Says not supported but it is and runs great.

it can basically play everything but there are some games that push it too far and arent an ideal experience it truly shines for older AAA games indie games or emulation i just wish ps3 emulation ran better i would love to play skate 3 on my steam deck

It took me also 3-4 hours to get into it. Believe me after it, it gets way better and makes a lot of more sense. There are also guides with tips and tricks in the beginning to make it easier. It's worth it

Def not a game when looking for casual entertainment after a stressful day but perfect if you’re going through an episode where you have tons of time on your hands and just wanna enjoy the process of personal skill growth and earned exploration.
