A new place which I’ve become actually obsessed with is Pizza Cult in Ubud. Amazing food, great service, such a cute venue and really affordable. Also a great place to bring your laptop and work from!

@@AK-4316 Hi, sorry I can't do a detailed trip plan for you as everyone's interest is different. If you want an activity pack type of trip, check out my top 5-day trips in Bali video. I would say stay in Seminyak for three nights and make a Nusa Penida day trip and maybe a Uluwatu day trip from Seminyak, one day to relax on the beach and enjoy the villa. Then stay three nights in Ubud to get the cultural experience, two days in Ubud to check out all the waterfalls, sightseeing the rice terraces, and save one day for a Kintamani sunrise trip. That’s how i would spend 7 days 6 nights in Bali.

@@feitheexpat Appreciate the kind words! :) There are so many good villas to choose from, so the best way to search for them is via 3rd party booking site like Agoda for short term stay, facebook group is a good place to look for long term stay deals and airbnb is great for unique stay like tree house, private home, etc. As for the healer, I believe that faith brought me to the healer and it was a unique experience for me.

I’m going to Bali in August ! Can’t wait to be there . Starting with 5 days in Ubud 😍 . I hace already planned a day for the Tegallalang and tirta Empul . And another one for waterfalls (which ones would suggest to skip the crowd ?) . What else should à I plan to do in Ubud ? Thanks 😊

Hi Lily, I highly recommend the Tegenungan waterfalls as it is the most convenience (30 min from Ubud central) since it's a big waterfalls, it won't get too crowded. Sumampan waterfalls is a good one too (near by), it's more secluded. I highly recommend doing white water rafting at the Ayung river, it was perfect for beginner rafter like me. The views from below is breathtaking, we saw some of the coolest villas in Ubud from the river. I also recommend Baliness cooking class. I did it in 2018, the chef brought us to her house and taught us about Balinese cuisine, it was an a hand-on experience and super fun.

That’s a great idea, I would add that to the list. Canggu and Seminyak beaches are the popular one, but the truth is Bali beaches on the west coast aren’t the best in the beginning of the year as trashes washed up to the shore

He didn’t actually heal my gut but he told me my gut was the problem that impacted my brain, my ability to think clearly and stay focus as well as my stress problem. He suggested a healthy diet along with meditation. My biggest take away is he helps me solidify the root cause of my problems. Ubud has so many healthy restaurants, it’s the best place to fix gut problem 😂

Good call on the ATV and white water rafting. You won’t regret it. If you want to do both in one day, check on Klook to find deals for both. I suggest you research the healers based on the type of healing you are seeking. There are palm and tarot card readers ( like in Eat Pray Love) or energy healers like the one I went to. I just wanted the experience, and I wasn’t seeking anything specific. My healer somehow reaffirmed a lot of problems I have just by looking at me, and no question asked, so I thought that was a memorable experience. If you want the contact info of my healer, let me know.

Hi, I suggest using Airbnb to find your local accommodation. for 3 or 4 days stay, you can reserve day 1 for sightseeing activities like the Ubud Palace, Monkey Forest, rice field and coffee plantation. 1 day for fun activities such as ATV ride, white water rafting , hike a waterfalls. 1 day to relax in your beautiful villa, take a yoga class and maybe join a local cooking class to learn about the culture via food. There are so many to do, just depend on your interests. Hope this helps!

@@mariateresaignacio6993 Hi there. It depends on how flexible your plan is and your risk tolerance. You may be able to get excellent last minute deals, but they may not have all the amenities you want. I notice that unique Airbnb or villas get booked up in advance. If you want flexiblity (decide to stay a night in Nusa Penida) at a potentially lower cost, then book the hotel as you go. If you are particular about the type of places, I recommend booking them ahead of time. I hope this answers your question.

I don’t think he has a website. We met him by chance and just want to get the healing experience. He did point out my health problems just by looking at me, which I was impressed. There are many healers with different specialties in Ubud. A quick search on Google maps will lead to several with websites and more details about their practices. If you are looking for a specific type of healing (energy, spiritual, palm reading) I suggest do a bit more research. Best wishes!

There are many affordable homestay as well as private villa with pool around the area. I suggest booking online with a trusted site like booking.com, airbnb, to ensure your transaction is secured.

Hey, really good video! I'm currently staying in Ubud and I've learned that you should *NOT SUPPORT KOPI LUWAK PLACES* where the animals are held in cages. They show the tourists only the big cages but in secret the are held in tiny cages. Also the only feed them the coffee beans when in reality they eat plenty of different food like fruits and only sometimes they eat the coffee beans as a snack. There are many cafes that serve coffee made from beans that have been hand-picked from the wild.

Hey girl, thank you so much for telling me. I appreciate it. I'm doing my best as a conscious and sustainable traveler, and I will research this further. Unfortunately, practices/businesses like this are still out there. I will edit the video with what I learn to bring awareness. For example, I refused to do the dolphin's sunrise boat tour in Lovina for the same reason. The way they rallied the dolphins was cruel.

Hi there, thank you for letting me know, I wasn't aware of that. I will do more research into it. I always mindful when it comes to attraction related to animal, for example, I refuse to do the dolphin sunrise tour in Lovina when I learn how the boats can hurt the dolphins.

Hi Krisztian, I agree. There are more affordable options out there for unique places to stay. The price of accommodations has generally increased since the reopening (without quarantine). It was $35/night when I visited, which was a great option given the location. Other treehouses were much further away and over $100/night. I suppose the Airbnb owner increased the price due to higher demand and booking. I'm sorry that you are disappointed, I will add a clarification clause next to the airbnb link.
