@Archive there’s a book called somethin like the seventh pillar or eleventh pillar... some shit like that- it’s got this prism on the cover and was written back in the late 80s I think. Postulates that all paranormal activity is the result of multidimensional crossings. That dimensions are only separated by very thin vibrations and when frequencies get too close to one another, things can cross over. It says aliens have figured out how to do this with technology and a lot of things like ghosts and bigfoot and moth man are instances where dimensions have crossed. It explains the missing 411 too and why they go missing in quartz fields

interesting. My biggest glitch was a shared dream where a friend and I were both walking down a hallway in a hotel. He said he wanted to go in to a room but I had a bad sense of foreboding and told him not to. He went anyway and I started to pull on the back of his shirt to keep him from going in. When I told him the beginning of the dream and right when I got to the door, he stopped me, explaining that he had it too, thenfinished by saying, you told me not to go but I did anyway, and as I entered I felt you pulling me to keep me out of it. I broke free and when I was inside I saw your cousin sitting alone in a chair slumped over like he was asleep. Later that day I got a call from my mom telling me my cousin had died the night before from a drug overdose...

I remember this story that happened to me a while ago. Me and my dad were driving through the mountains. We were on a bridge that went over a river. The water was low that day. I remember my dad saying "Jee, the water's pretty low today." Except it didn't sound right. It had a sort of reverb to it that made it sound like he was talking in an empty church or cathedral. Then it echoed in my head. It echoed again, but louder. Louder, louder, louder it echoed. It got so loud that I could barely stand it. As soon as i almost screamed, it stopped. Total silence. Then I hear from the driver's seat. "Jee, the water's pretty low today." No reverb, no echo, just normal. I still have no idea what happened that day.

When I was a kid (toddler-10 or 11) I would have these fits which I could only describe as panic attacks. Though I’ve never had what I would call depression or anxiety. They were seemingly unprovoked. Every sound would be amplified and echoed over and over, I would cry for someone to hold me but as soon as they got close I’d lash out with hostility. Usually ended up with me passing out or vomiting. Never knew why it happened, but your description of the echoes you heard sounded just like what used to happen to me.

I know this is from two years ago but I had something similar happen to me. I went to turn off the lights in my room. When I flicked the switch off it sounded echoed. It didnt hurt my head, but I was really confused and even went and asked my mom if she heard it. It wasn't too late and I wasn't really tired. I even tried to recreate it. It hasn't happened since, and I still have no clue what happened there.

When I was 16, I was driving home from picking up a few groceries for my parents. Like most kids that age, I had just gotten my license and was out the door as soon as there was even a little mention of errands that needed to be done. Anywho, as I'm getting home from a grocery store run, I cut the turn into our driveway too tightly and totally side-swipe our fence post. Not even a little swipe, I nailed that thing hard; so much so it pushed the back of the car over about a foot. The car was a red 1972 Monte Carlo. It was a beautiful car and honestly, not something a 16 year old kid should be learning in.. I remember thinking as I was getting out to inspect the damage, "Please don't be bad. Please don't be bad." It was bad. The door and rear fender were pushed in and the paint was completely scraped off. I remember feeling so crushed.. I drove the car to the back yard and went inside to face the music. I told my dad straight away and he went out to inspect the damage himself. I was S'ing B's, I knew he was going to be so pissed. Then he got inside and was like, "It's not that bad. I didn't see anything to be honest." and went about his business. I was kind of in shock and went about my business as well. I went back out a little while later to look at it again. It was completely fine. Like pristine. There was no damage whatsoever. I couldn't believe that it was the same car. I walked over and looked at the fence post and there was no sign of damage or paint scrapings on it either.. I just went back inside like nothing happened, completely confused about it for weeks. Did that even happen? Was my mind fucking with me? Did the universe just do me an A+ solid? To this day, I have no idea what actually happened..

To this day everyone argues where I was because half the party remembers me going on the walk and the other half remember me staying behind. When I was about 6 or 7 something very fucking bizarre happened to me. I was too young to grasp the sheer creepiness of what had just happened. Only now does it bother me. Anyway, when I was 6 or 7, or some age in and around that, I remember having to go to the toilet to pee. As I was about to enter the upstairs bathroom, my older and only sister at the time was coming out. I went in and did my thing, then went down stairs to my mum asking for my sister. She told me that Lisa (my sister) wasn't home and that she had been out with my grandmother all day. 2 minutes later she walked in through the front door. I asked her was she upstairs in the bathroom. She said she wasn't.

The only glitch story I have was back in early June of 2015, just a little bit after I turned 21. I had only one class that day, my film class that I took with three friends. That day, we were watching a movie I'd already seen so I decided to leave to go see my friend who was working at the brewery across the street. I crossed the street to get to the brewery and I remember when I walked in, the song 'Crimson and Clover' was playing. I saw my friend, had a beer, then decided to go back to class. As I was crossing the crosswalk, a red hatchback car (like a Chevy Aveo) blows through the stop light and hits me. I remember being thrown in the air but instead of hitting the ground, I just fell into my bed as if I woke up from a dream. I get up thinking that I never had a dream so vivid. Regardless, I went about my morning routine and head to school. When I get there, I realize everything is just like my "dream". We're watching the movie in my "dream", my friends are wearing the same outfits they did in my "dream", the same conversations are being had, it was the most intense deja vu. Again, I go across the street to the brewery to see my friend. I kept thinking to myself, "if I hear Crimson and Clover on the radio, I'm not staying." I go inside and, sure enough, Crimson and Clover is playing on the speakers. I get seriously freaked out and leave. I make sure to be extra cautious while crossing the street and get across quickly. But, just out of curiosity, I sit and see if a red hatchback will run the light. After about 15 minutes of waiting, sure enough, a red hatchback blows through the stoplight, going fast enough to seriously injure or kill anyone who would've been crossing (luckily, no one was but I would've had I stayed and got a drink and talked to my friend). I'd never felt so shocked in my entire life. To this day, I don't know if I just had an amazing coincidental dream, if I managed to dream of the future, or if I actually died and just experienced a Groundhog Day type scenario. Or, a thought that bothers me, I was actually killed and that, after we die, we're simply shifted to a parallel universe for a second chance. I hate to think of my family and loved ones suffering and grieving over me in another universe. Personally, I like to think a guardian angel or something gave me a dream to save my life. I'm not really a believer in miracles or divine intervention but that day made me seriously question it.

For the Gavin story, I have a bit of a theory. What if the narrator experienced a temporary time jump, and when Gavin is 40 years old,(the future) he's visited by his friend from the past (the current time). That'd be very eerie. The narrator should keep in touch with Gavin.

I'd completely forgotten this until just now: when I was a kid, I had a strange, uncanny ability. If I thought about a specific TV episode, I would later see that exact episode the same day. This was before streaming services were popular, and TV episodes were mostly random. If during school that day I thought about a joke from an episode of Fairly OddParents, I'd see that episode when I'd come home from school. After a while it was happening so often that I'd think about episodes that I liked on purpose so I could see them later that day, and I would. The only reason this stopped was because I stopped watching TV on a regular basis in high school, where I instead started watching KZread and listening to music. To this day I don't watch TV unless I'm hanging out with my mom, who only watches recorded stuff, and the strange ability is now just a distant memory.

I will get a song, episode, or movie stuck in my head and it will show up on tv. Sometimes that same day. This only freaked me out once a few months ago though. It was so consistent and within two days or less everytime. I would even think of a song or joke and someone else would later sing the song or say the joke. I even told my folks about it but they didn't believe me.

Me too!!! I'd get a specific scene from like either Suite Life or Drake and Josh or That's So Raven or whatever stuck in my head repeating on a loop. Then when I'd turn on the tv the episode that scene was from would be on or would come on later. I told my mom and she said that I probably just subconsciously memorized the order in which they played the episodes but I said I didn't think episodes of kids' shows were played in any sort of order like that. She said that I must then have the most useless psychic power she'd ever heard. It doesn't happen anymore, though like you, I also hardly ever watch tv now.

I don't know if this story is a "Glitch in the Matrix" or more of a "Mandela Effect" type story, but once when I was at school everyone I talked to, everyone I heard were all saying it was Friday. So when my teacher got pissy at all of us kids who were excited for the "upcoming" weekend, one kid said something along the lines of "C'mon, it's Friday!" And that's when my teacher got all confused and said something that, I swear, chilled everyone to the bone. My teacher said "No...it's Tuesday." And I swear on my life that everyone freaked. There were kids checking their phones and were even more distraught when their phones really did say Tuesday and there were kids that were trying to find the logic of the situation and others who were arguing. And apparently, according to my friend, the same thing happened in three other classrooms.

Also the government likes testing psychological effects on schools see how young minds can be manipulated. Your gonna laugh nervously, shake your head think no thats not poss- then you will remember having the TV wheeled into class the lights turned off even tho its daytime all the windows were dark but you never questioned it at the time. And you all watched something a news broadcast, an educational cartoon, a science documentary, or a quizz show. But the detail will be really hazy. But You Will Remember when the teacher came back into class and flicked the brightlights back on. Because they had to step out and left you to watch the videotape...

This story took place when I was around 19 or 20. My girlfriend and I were walking on the pavement in front of a megaplex-style cinema after having watched a movie together. I heard the sound of an impact coming from right behind our feet, and saw a rock about half the size of my head continue scraping forward along the ground, it had just barely missed us. I turned around, and saw a group of douchey gangster teenagers holding more of these rocks, they didn't say anything, nor did I recognize them from anywhere. I'm usually a very calm, polite, kind, and peaceful person, I had never gotten involved in a fight ever. But this time, I couldn't tolerate it, I had to defend myself and my girlfriend from this unprovoked attack. Seeing those people just enraged me, I clenched my fists HARD, stared at them viciously, and took a couple of steps toward them, absolutely ready to fight back when I heard my girlfriend say "David... don't" . So I respected her wishes, turned around reluctantly, and we kept walking together. I had walked away from many confrontations before, but this was one I was absolutely prepared to not back away from. I don't think any words were ever exchanged with the rock-throwers. When we got to my car, we started talking about what had just happened, and I finished with "if you hadn't told me to stop, I would have gotten in the fight of my life with those guys" to which she responded "I never said anything" . I insisted she did, but she insisted back that she hadn't. Who knows what 3 or 4 guys with massive rocks could have done to an unarmed person like me with no fighting experience.

DUDE! During the first story when he says the woman said "hello" there was a huge crash of thunder over here. It happened perfectly on the beat with Lazy saying the word, holy shit. Scared the crap out of me! =3

didnt happen to me, but did happen to my cousin and grandma. they were sitting on the couch watching tv. the way the house is laid out, it was very open, and from the couch you can see the stairs that go down to the basement, and the stairs that go up to the upper hallway, where the bathrooms and bedrooms are. while watchin tv, my grandpa walked in through the garage door, went up the stairs from the basement, and said nothing as he walked all the way upstairs and turned on the light for the guest bathroom. he never closed the door or left the bathroom. about ten minutes later, the garage door opened again and my grandpa came upstairs to the living room/kitchen. he made himself a bowl of cereal, and sat down and watched tv with them. there is no way to get outside and into the garage from that bathroom, and if he'd actually gone into the bathroom and left to go back outside, he wouldve been seen. my grandma and my cousin looked at each other and my cousin said "did you see that too?". my grandma nodded, and they told the story to my grandpa. he went to go check in the bathroom, as the light was still on, but nobody was there.

I had a similar thing happening to me when I was a kid. I was about 6 to 8 (I don't remember exactly) and we went to my parents friends' house for a festive dinner. They had this big dog, I think it was a Rottweiler (because I remember it being black and brown and very big). And I remember I kept wanting to play with it. Eventually I did between meals (as Russians, we always have the appetizers on, then main meals and then the dessert). and suddenly it bit me. Like really hard. Broke skin and I was screaming and crying and my parents had to finish the dinner early. We drove home and i remember my arm ached and throbbed for days and I didn't develop a scar over time but at the time it seemed like I might do so. I remember the pain was so vivid and real... well you can guess it. Years later I asked my parents about those friends they had with the rottweiler and they said they had no friends with such a dog. I then said "well I mean the people with the dog that bit me as a kid. You haven't talked to them since. I hope it's not because of the incident." and my mom looked at me like I'm crazy and told me I was never bitten by a dog as a kid at any dinner party or nothing at all. Some might think it was a dream, some can try to come up with certain explanations... but I remember the taste of the food. I remember the couple that was so nice to me. I remember the pain of the bite... it wasn't a dream... but... I don't know. Maybe it was a glitch? Or dimension rift....

I don't have a Reddit, so I'm gonna post my glitch in the matrix story here - So one day in 6th grade, I had missed most of school because I had gone to a track meet and ran a few races with my friends. This track meet was about 45 minuets away from where my school was. So we ran the races, waited till it was over blah blah. So me and my friends are talking about what class we have, and we normally would've had gym with the other class. When we pull up at the school, it's the beginning of 5th period we go to the gym. Only the other class was there, and they looked at us weird when we asked where our class was. "Probably in your classroom...?" Me and my friends were confused, so we went to our class, only to find that all the chairs and desks were stacked up and the lights were off. Nobody was there. We were extremely confused and looked outside, thinking maybe our teacher brought us outside for a free period. Nope. My friends and I go to the office, because we're honestly confused. They said "check the class again." So we did. Still no chairs. We figured maybe they went to the other gym. Nope, not there either. We decided to go back to the class to see if the door was unlocked we could grab our stuff that we had left there before we left. The door is open, lights are on and everyone is there while my teacher is some kind of artwork. We looked at them in shock, but didn't say anything till after she was finished presenting. We talked to our friend who said "we were in here the whole time...and we never saw or heard you guys outside the door..." Me and my other friend were dumbfounded, and bring it up every so often, still trying to make sense of the whole thing. - Sorry about my spelling and grammar, I'm in grade 8 and honestly English isn't my strongest subject.

I was in Amsterdam, roughly a year ago with my uncle and a friend of mine. On the second last night we were all wandering around the city center, I was drinking at this point but had only had about 1/2 beers so was relatively sober, I don’t exactly know how to word this without sounding insane but suddenly everything felt completely abnormal, the clothes everyone was wearing was like something I had never seen before, the mannerisms in the way people were acting was completely strange too even this buildings were completely different, all very tall and every single one was extremely alike, it sounds crazy but it was almost like I was in a completely different reality or some type of strange simulation, I kept asking my friend and uncle if they had noticed the same thing too but they were almost laughing at me about what I was talking about and just making me feel like I was going insane, it was truly terrifying because it wasn’t like this feels like a simulation it truly felt like this was a simulation. I started to feel completely nauseous and asked if we could go back to the hotel we were staying at, due to it being quite late they both happily complied and we got a taxi back to our hotel, on the ride home every single building we passed was a just giant high rises of what looked like flats/apartments, the roads were completely empty as in no cars at all once we had driven out of the city center i had never seen any of this before when driving in or out of the city center. As soon as we got back to our hotel and stepped out of the taxi Everything just went straight back to normal, the clothes people were wearing were the exact same to what people were now, all of the buildings were the same too. I’ve never experienced anything like that before nor have I again it was beyond crazy that words can’t even fathom what i had seen/ experienced even me writing this just sounds completely profound and untrue but still to this day I can’t seem to find any logical explanation to it all and what is worse is both my uncle and friend still have no idea what I’m talking about when I bring it up. it is quite reassuring listening to videos like this knowing people have also had strange and similar experiences, just makes me believe that what we call reality may not be what it seems.

when i was a child i was taking a shower in my moms bedroom bathroom, i got out and dried myself off and got dressed. i went to the door to open it to procede intonher bedroom but for whatever reason i held back and stayed right at the door for maybe 5 seconds, although i had every intention of going through immediately. i than opened the door and my mother looked stunned , the whole day she was trying to convince she had seen me open the door and leave the bathroom twice,while my first self gotnhalf way through her bedroom to the kitchen and vanished. she still stands by it to this day

It's highly unlikely they're suffering from depersonalization disorders or Psychogenic amnesia. These stories suggest people having experiencing a weird deja Vu scenario rather than them having hazy/hallucinations or them forgetting stuff. And in most cases they had proof to back up their claims too so i personally don't think it's either of the two.

I have this weird “glitch in the matrix” kinda thing that keeps happening to me. It began when my best friend and I were heading home from soccer practice which took place about 30 miles from our homes. There was this beat up pickup truck following us from the parking lot of the soccer fields all the way to just before our neighborhood turn so we were both freaking out a bit. We decided to drive past our turn and circle the same back road to drop the hint to the guy that we were on to him. By the time we had made our second revolution around, it was dark out and we were on a long stretch with no areas to turn or pull over since the road was squeezed between dense trees and foliage. The pickup suddenly turned off all of its lights and must’ve stopped in the middle of the road or something because when we rolled up to the next available turn which happened to have a street light, we were completely alone. We took that as our que to peel off and get home quickly just in case he was still following us but we never saw the truck again. For two young girls at the time that was pretty creepy but it’s not exactly a glitch. The part that really freaks me out is that whenever it’s just me and one other person in the car with no one around us on the backroads at night and I try to tell this story, car lights randomly appear behind us and follow closely for a few seconds to minutes before turning them off and my car is suddenly alone again.

about 9 years ago i had a really weird experience but i never really talked about it with anyone. it was a typical weekend and i woke up on a sunday but everything was out of place, like the world had been reflected, or reversed, if that makes any sense. you know when you look in a mirror and you hold up your right hand to see your reflection hold up its left hand? it felt like that. like i was somehow put on the other side of the mirror. i tried not to think about it as the day progressed and no one seemed to notice until later that night. i was heading to my room when i heard my mom and sister whispering to each other in the other room. my mom seemed frightened, i heard her my sister if she noticed 'it' too, which was met with a really quiet 'yeah'. when i woke up the next morning, everything was back to normal. i still dont know what happened and i feel hesitant about bringing it up to my mom or sister

@@LysLovesAlpacas If you were to be in the mirror looking out, it would be your left. Hold up your right hand at the mirror. Then turn around to face the same way your "mirror self" would be facing. The hand on the side that you originally held up is now opposite, you would have to hold up your left to make the same pose.

I had a very vivid glitch a few years ago that I've never been able to explain. I'll keep it brief. I live in England and whilst on holiday made friends with a Scottish lad and his family. We kept in touch and met up a few times over the years. We hadn't spoken for a while but I telephoned him one time when he informed me that his dad unfortunately had cancer. Terrible news of course which I distinctly remember discussing. Anyway after that we didn't speak for a period again, maybe a few months or so. The next time we spoke on the phone I was asking how the family was and he tells me that his dad had cancer. I told him that we spoke about that last time we spoke to which he was really surprised. He told me I was incorrect to which I adamantly protested. Then he explains that the diagnosis was only made in the last couple of weeks and that when we last spoke his Dad was fit and healthy with no signs of cancer at all. Obviously a sensitive subject that I didn't want to argue about but still I told him that I remembered talking about it. Eventually his mother came on the phone to back up my friend. There was no cancer previously, no way my friend could have told me about it and no way I could have known. Happy ending, his dad made a full recovery. Never been able to understand it though.

Some friends of mine growing up had a badass hexagonal fish tank. They were living pretty well and I vividly remember some of the fish they had including an octopus at one point. I remember this because I had never seen one before and they had brinks on top of the cage because they are so strong. The family also had a lion fish at one point which is a crazy badass looking fish. I even remember what color they both were and remember watching them for some time. They didn't have either after a while and the tank decayed so I assume they died or were sold. I asked the whole family about those animals/fish and not one of them remembers what I'm talking about. I still to this day know this happened but I'm the only one who remembers. To reinforce the story they even had a little goat at one point so they had some interesting animals. Freaks me out and makes me feel crazy but I know it was real because it stood out to me so much.

_"Badass hexagonal fish tank"_ are four words I never expected to see in the same sentence.

So something similar to the first story happened to my mom before I was born. She used to work as a secretary. Late one night, she was typing on a typewriter (no computers yet) but she was really tired and couldn't finish. So the next morning, at about 6 am, she got to work so she can finish the paper. As she was typing, the janitor man came into the office room and started making conversation with her, as he was talking, she felt uneasy and lightheaded. She said that it felt like he was talking for hours. Once he finished talking, she didn't feel uneasy anymore. When the man left, she turned around to see that all of her assignment/work was typed up on the typewriter. Later that day when it was time for her to leave work, she ran into the janitor man. She tried to talk to him but he didn't even seem to remember her.

I know it's late, but I have a short story about this subject. When I was very young (maybe 3 or 4), it was almost my "Bed-Time". I had my pjs on and most of the lights were off except the ones in the room my dad and I were currently in. I was crouched down, sort of just staring at the ground, which was hard wood flooring and my dad was keeping an eye on me. I was observing a spider walking over the floor. As it passed over a patch of floor, two holes in the wood emerged from under it. It was as if the spider created them. They were such strange shapes, one was a diagonally stretched oval, and the other was a smaller diagonally stretched oval facing the opposite direction of you can imagine that. They were also a weird black color as if the floor had been burned through. I asked my dad something along the lines of "Hey did you just see that spider make those holes?" As I pointed to the recently formed holes. He said something along the lines of "What are you talking about, those have been there for a while now..?" I just replied with "oh" or "huh". It was probably nothing, but it's sort of interesting to think about now. I just envision the spider passing over nothing, and these oddly shaped holes emerging. They've been patched now, but you can still make out the outline of where they were.

This story happened in the spring of 1988. My best friend at the time had been having some very creepy and paranormal things happen to him over the course of a few months involving missing time incidents and seeing strange things. We had made a plan for him to come to my house and pick me up at 7:00 on this day to meet up with other friends to go bowling. You must remember this was long before cell phones and only rich people had pagers. My friend didn't show up at 7:00 but I received a phone call from him around 8:20 He was calling from a pay phone around 5 miles from my house. My mother initially answered the phone and called for me to come pick it up. He said that he just had another weird episode and was on his way and would be there in 10 minutes. I told him why bother as by the time we would arrive at the bowling alley our other friends would probably be finished their game and may have already left. He was surprised as he thought he would only be 10 minutes late. Both his watch and the clock in his car said it was 7:00 at that time and were behind 1hour and 20 minutes from the actual time. The really freaky part was that a few minutes after I hung up the phone I heard the clothes dryer buzz indicating that it was finished it's cycle. I heard my mother and father arguing and came to find out that my mother had also had a time glitch. She thought she had only put the clothes in the dryer 15 minutes before and wondered how they could be done so quickly as she always dries them for 90 minutes. I remember her being in the laundry room a few minutes before 7:00. It turns out that my mother's watch was also 1 hour and 20 minutes behind and she couldn't remember much that happened before my friend called. My mother's watch never kept correct time after that point and she got a new one the following week. So what happened ???

In regards to the Annabelle one, as someone that remembers life before cell phones, you don't just "misdial" from Virginia to New England. That call, even as short as it was, probably cost a bit. That's also not counting that before cell phones really took hold, you'd have to dial in the area code to connect that far, but not for a number in the same town.

Back in ye olden days, before you had to always dial ten digits no matter what, you used to only have to dial area codes when calling out of your own area code or at times county. A lot of states, like mine, only had one to two area codes for a long time, so you could call a good chunk of the state without ever having to put in extra numbers although there could be some pretty good fees depending on how far away the person was or you'd have to put in the area code if it was more than a certain number of miles. [long distance vs. local long distance]. Given that this video is several years old, that puts the author's date of birth around the late '80s to '90 at the latest, a time when long-distance calling cost a good deal of money. I remember we had a set up to talk to one of my grandmothers during this time to deal with the expense even though we had the same area code. So, the person calling would have had to severely misdial (NH has 603 for the whole state while Virginia has had an area code 703 since '47 but the numbers aren't close on a keypad, would be easier to do on a rotary) and dial in a number that was also a working number in NH at the time. And then on top of this be looking for an Annabell. Then have a grandmother play a prank on this man and never call the number out of curiosity or tell him later what had happened and it just so happens that the guy passed away a year prior without anyone even looking to see where the area code was even from or mentioning this weird story at some point in time while dating the guy's son. Sure, it could have happened - weird stuff happens all the time, but it would have been a noticeable charge on the phone bill to this poor man wondering how he accidentally dialed NH and had a conversation with another household with an Annabell. I wonder what he thought when he talked to the Annabell he was trying to contact, would be a weird experience, to say the least. And finally, just because it was a rarer name at the author's birth doesn't mean it was always a less common name or even that uncommon throughout the general population as a whole.

I have several interesting stories that come to mind. I'll share one. I've always been highly intuitive..so this is either an intuition episode or a "glitch in the matrix" story. At 16 years old or so, (I'm now 29 with 3 little ones) I had a couple close friends. One was a dumb teenage boy that always drove too fast & recklessly with the music blaring..the other was a girl friend who was in a wheelchair due to muscular dystrophy. Her parents let him take us out in the wheelchair accessible van one night to go to the mall. Instead, we went joyriding. He was going 75-80mph down a dark country road. I was already nervous bc of his crazy driving. All of a sudden, a dog ran out in front of us. I screamed as he swerved and hit the ditch on the side of the road and felt us in the air as he flipped the van...seconds later, (but seemed like forever) as we were about to hit the ground... I came to. Nothing had happened. I was still completely panic stricken and scared shitless. I could barely get my words out but managed to scream, "SLOW DOWN!! DOG!!" He slammed on the brakes and yelled "WHAT??!" as he turned around to try to look at me. A moment later, a dog ran directly in front of the van, but thankfully, we missed it completely. Sadly, my close friend who had muscular dystrophy died a few years back in an accident while driving her own van (driven with hand controls) on a country road. Her name was Whitney & she had such a beautiful soul. She had just gotten married & wanted to adopt children. I still think about her from time to time. She is definitely missed.

Not exactly that but I once had a literal Inception moment. I had this weird dream, I don't know the details anymore, but I remember waking up and wondering: "why am I just laying on a plain matress, I fell asleep in a real bed tho?" So i get up and go to the kitchen window. The kitchen looks normal but as I look out of the window I realise that instead of the church which is infront of my house, theres just what looks like the gate of a barn. so I go to the living room just to find out that instead of our usual woodpanel walls everything is like this super modern white walls. I got really distressed by this point and went to my mother to ask what happened, everything looked different. And then I woke up again, this time in the bed I fell asleep. Needless to say I immedeatly went to the kitchen to look out the window to see the curch, as usual. THat was one of the eeriest experiences I ever had with dreams, because my mind didnt take those changes in the second dream layer for granted like its usual in dreams. That gave me the "glitch feeling" you mentioned , big time.

"My palms were getting sweaty?" Were his Knees also weak? Arms heavy? Bet there was Vomit on his sweater from his moms spaghetti.

Okay guys I've got one for you. Okay so when I was in 8th grade (I'm a freshman now) I was kind of lagging behind on grades and I had ADHD and it always bothered me so I had to like tap my feet a lot, this does not relate to the story in any way. So anyways my day goes perfectly normal, a little too normal for usual, so I go home and play some video games like I always do and then go to sleep. I wake up the next morning and something feels really off but I just shake it off as a weird dream that I don't remember. So I continue to go to school and my first period is my English class and my teacher is a early 40s black woman and she's REALLY sassy. So I walk into class and she yells at me saying that I should never talk back to her like that again, at this point I'm really confused on what's going on because I was deadly afraid of her. So I ask her what she means and she says what you said over the phone to me in science class. Here's where I got really confused. I ask her what she means and she said she called my science teacher and told me that I had missing work and then she said that I said that I didn't have it and we started to argue. But in fourth period we were watching a movie, so I ask a few of my friends that have her for fourth period and they say they do remember her calling me and yelling at me, and then I'm like this has to be a joke, so I decide to go ask my science teacher and she says that she remembers me going up to he phone and talking some smack to someone. Now I'm so disoriented that I can't even really stand up straight. And she Reexplains everything to me and what I needed to do. And the whole week I had never missed my medicine so it couldn't have been that and even then if I didn't it never makes me forget things. So I basically missed out on a major event of the day that apparently directly involved me and I still to this day have no idea what happened and where my memories went. The end

I have it the reverse. Exa, when im dreaming that looks so vived and real ends up happening. Like 1-2days ago. Im now in italy on holiday with my mother. We were eating in the restaurant, i looked to my right at the next table when i had a, you can call it, a deja vu. The waiter was giving food to that table when i was looking. My head froze for a moment and then continued working. Its like, what i would describe, is you're watching tv and the screen skipped a frame for a small time that it is almost unnoticable but you have noticed something that isnt right for that small moment. Its now about the 15x time that i had something like this. Ots weird to experience. And sorry for the bad grammar.

Today, a girl says that she gave me a honey bun a few months back and I do not remember her giving anything to me on that week. It was Riley week, sorta like spirit week. And I dont remember her giving me anything at all, but everyone else says they do. It was weird.

Weird. I've had similar things happen to me though as well. But that's the thing, I used to be an addict and I've used a wide array of many things. I can chalk up so much to being blackout on something or having severe withdrawels, being extremely sick, or not getting enough sleep. I have to believe certain things happened because everyone else recalls it but me.

I think I had a bit of a "glitch in the matrix" moment at work recently. I have this one boss who's tall, heavy set and carries the keys to the various safes and displays in the store so, naturally you'd always be able to hear him coming especially on quiet days. I'm standing at my register and see him at customer service which is right in front of me. I turn away to log back onto my register (it automatically logs the user out when not in use for a few minutes) and I hear him walk away. I look to see he's about halfway across the store heading to the office in the back. I then remember that there's merchandise under my register and bend down to get the items so that I can put them with the returns behind customer service. When I get back up with the merch in my hands, the same manager who was walking away was behind customer service in the same position he was before leaving. I did not hear a sound and my front end supervisors said nothing to indicate his return. I was a bit freaked out to say the least.

Sometimes i feel like some of our "ghosts" are just people from other dimmensions/realities overlapping ours. Or somehow they ended up in our reality with no actual explanation

@@coolguyrye i dream often where i'm not me at all.. i read this is EXTREMELY UNUSUAL that no matter whats going on you will always be you, dreaming as yourself of course but I've had dreams of being completely different people, vivid memories and abilities i don't have in this life... they are extremely weird dreams but i think theres something real to it...perhaps past lives

True story: I was a child on the beach in the 70s, happily playing in the sand with my shovel and pail. I was a short distance from my folks on their blankets and it was a crowded summer day. I realize someone's shadow is on me so I look up and see two strangers; an old man and an old woman. They didn't seem to notice me as they were looking out over the crowd of people on the beach. Then, the old woman said to the old man, "These humans know nothing." and they walked off, not realizing I had heard them. To this day, I believe in extra-terrestrials because of this incident.

Simply could have been how they referred to the people. I do that and so do many people I know from time to time to sort of be sarcastic or funny, idk. But we dont know, do we? We've seen many UFO's, even I have. But never actual aliens. They could be disguised as us and around us right now. We don't dig into the history and life of everyone we pass by on the street or come across in a day. Who knows.

I've had a few of these experiences. My reflection in the mirror changing to someone else, seeing a car coming up the street and then it suddenly disappearing, knowing when people are behind me even if I don't hear or see them, and lights going out for a few seconds and nobody else noticing. One time while I was at work, the phone rang and my boss answered it. She handed it to me and said, "It's for you." The voice on the phone said, 'Hello, Luther. This is Adam. Why did you mess up my food?" I handed the phone back to my boss and she hung up. I asked my boss why she handed me the phone and how the customer knew my name. She just looked at me funny and said she never handed me the phone.

the guy who went to india, he should see a doctor. seriously, if everyone remembers it very different from him, and he has no actual evidence such as receipts from the hotel or other stores/restaurants in delhi, or some other proof, he might have experienced a psychotic break and should get checked out by a mental health professional.

He mostly likely just dreamed it due to jetleg or what ever on the car ride to the house or even the plane, I sometimes dream of hotels or being back at work after flying for 15 hours

it could also have been sleep paralysis due to the stress. After I had my daughter I was at home sleeping, when all of a sudden I levitated out of the bed and got sucked into the floor. Then I woke up. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING about that "dream" seemed real, and I don't mean real for a dream, I mean when I woke up I thought I had just died, it was as real as anything I'd see while awake.

A lot of the people here are right about travel/stress probably causing this if it was a vivid dream/hallucination/whatever. Personally, first time I flied, I hadn't slept in like 48 hours, but was too anxious to sleep on the flight. I kept nodding off though. I wanted to ask for a sodapop, but I kept nodding off before the flight attendant would get to me. I nodded off for a few seconds, and then I got woken up. I'd been fast asleep the whole couple hour flight. I didn't wake up once. My brain dreamt it to keep me asleep. The next flight I was wide awake and perfectly calm. But even if this was a possible mental incident, it's probably not worth concern. The guy likely would have had symptoms of a problem, and would have lesser degrees of this happening previously were it a mental break. Breaks don't just happen, they have a reason, and typically that reason is an apparent privately controlled mental illness. If he showed no symptoms before or after, it's not a legitimate cause for concern.

I've had many glitch in the matrix experiences now that I think about it. All I can chalk them up to are guardian Angel's Angel's watching my back and taking care of me altering reality if they have to to keep me alive. After the experiences I've had there's no way you could think otherwise. These stories make me wonder and intrigue me I love how I can relate to other people with similar experiences and just enjoy the irony of them.

Glitch in the matrix moment when you think you've heard one of the stories already on youtube, but you can't find it in your search history XD. seriously though, great stories you guys.

I suffer from insomnia and sometimes it can really extreme. One time I didn't have a proper sleep for about a month and half. By this time I was experiencing psychosis. I would experience very similar symptoms this person described. I'd hear loud whispers and become paranoid that someone was about to scream in my ear. It's weird that his dad heard it too though.

"looked at me like I was an alien" I've heard that phrase so many times that I can't count. One thing I still don't understand, though, is the lingering question: "How does one look at an alien?"

When I was in seventh grade, I was playing The Sims3 over the weekend and I distinctly remember checking my slide phone for the time and date. It was about 12:30 am Sunday morning. So I continued playing. What seemed to be a few minutes later, my mom opened my door, and I looked up. She asked me why I wasn't in bed, because I had school in the morning. I told her that I didn't because it was 12am on Sunday. She looked at me like I had five heads, and told me no, it was 4am on Monday morning. I once again checked my slide phone, and she was right. It was 4:15am Monday morning. To this day, I still have no idea what happened or why it happened. I just know that within minutes, I lost a whole day. I guess it was a glitch in the matrix

^I agree. I mean, I used to play Sims 2 and I loved that game. Sims 3 was out but I still preferred Sims 2 and had all the expansions. I've spent many many hours of my life playing and yes time can fly. But an entire day? Yes, but you would remember. You stop to grab food and use the bathroom etc. And your parents check up on you. Straight up, this is just yet another unexplainable happening in our crazy world. 😒

I would literally play the game ‘sleepwalking’ i would play and be a sleep at the same time, just to wake up a whole day later thinking just 5 mins went by

I have like two mysterious instances like these myself... both of them when I was very young. I'm 37 now but the first occasion happened when I was about 5 or 6. Some of my earliest memories. We used to live in Nampa, Idaho at the time. I remember this kid from school named Dan. He was maybe a year older than me and Hispanic like myself. I specifically remember hanging out with him and some other friends during lunchtime. I remember even trading our snacks and how goofy he was. Where it gets a bit fuzzy is who his family was. From what I can recall is that his mom knew my family. It wasn't entirely unusual. Nampa was a small town then and my dad knew lots of people. I have a feeling that we somehow knew them from church, or something. Like I said, my memory is fuzzy. But I remember everything else. It was around that time that we moved back to Texas shortly after my memories of Dan. My brother, who is about 13 years older than me had just started dating his now wife. I remember going to someone's bridal shower of some sort. Cousins of my sister in law's or something. Her entire family is from Mexico and there was a lot of people there. I remember going to this house in particular on many occasions. We used to watch a lot of Sabado Gigante on Saturdays and ate a lot of good food. It was always a lot of fun. Well, on this night, when they were celebrating this bridal shower, I went to the room where all the kids were playing. We were playing Nintendo when I notice Dan sitting on the edge of the bed hanging out with us. I remember him talking with all the other kids. We notice each other but just kind of shrug it off. Then we start talking and I ask something like "you moved here too?" And he says "yeah. When did you move here?" "A few months ago," I say. We both found it very strange how we ended up at this same party from nearly 2,000 miles away. We didn't say much after that. We just kind of just pretended we weren't friends from before. But I remember how strange it was. No clue who his family was, or how he ended up where I was without him knowing my family. Or maybe they did know each other. I don't know. But when I told my brother and my sister's they just shrugged me off like they didn't have any idea who I was talking about. I'll never know if it was just some very strange coincidence, or maybe it was an imaginary friend that I had. I don't know. The second one is probably a little stranger. I was about 14 years old. I grew up very religious and my father was a pastor at one point and was heavily involved in church affairs. Often my parents would not return home till 4am or so. My sister and I would stay at home and watch MTV sometimes, which was a big no-no in my family. On this particular night, I remember flipping the channel to make sure it wasn't on MTV. It was already closed to midnight and I didn't wanna risk getting caught. My sister was already asleep. I tried going to sleep and as I was in my bed. I remember not bejng able to sleep and seeing the time was close to around 2am. Then finally, I heard my parents come in the door. But they sounded very rushed. I just remember hearing my mom walk fast to their bedroom which was right next to mine. I remember my dad hurrying her to get whatever it was they needed. I still remember it clearly. They were in no more than 1minute. They were just in and out. And it was extremely unusual. For something like that to have happened meant that some church member was probably going through some crisis. My dad would often intervene on domestic disputes, or emergency hospital visits. Sometimes my dad would even perform exorcisms. I had even seen him perform one right in that same apartment where this took place. But that's for another story. I remember getting up from my room to check the front door again as soon as they'd left. And then in the morning, when I woke up I asked my mom what all that fuss was about. Clearly something serious happened for them to come in and out of the house. My mom just looked at me. She had no idea what I was talking about. I explained to her what I had heard but she was adamant that they had arrived at around 345am but at no time did they get there around 2am and then exit the house a moment later. I remember even arguing with my mom and she just looked at me like I was crazy. I don't know what it was to this day. I can't confirm with her if there was something that they were hiding from me. Or if there was some bizarre phenomenon that I experienced. My mom had a stroke about 9 years ago. She is still around but she is a shell of her former self and has a hard time remembering things. No way of ever finding out from her what exactly happened.

I have had about 6-7 of these kinds of things happen in my life...I think. What is weird is that I forget about them after a couple years, no matter how hard I try to remember. Its like a dream.

I've just started getting into these glitch stories . finally I can put a name to these weird discrepancies in life

When I was 13 years old I remember setting off for a hike with my entire family. The hike was half dome in Yosemite; an all day hike which ended up taking around 9 hours. I remember the first 5 minutes of the hike and then I remember getting into our car to leave. Apparently I hiked the entire mountain. Weird.

Not exactly a glitch in the matrix, but I just had a strange coincidence happen while I was listening to your last story. At the very end, you slip in a few "nonsense" sentences, and you say something about "hit X" (?) and "re-spawn." At the moment you said that, I was typing some Javascript, about "spawning" an object and placing it at an X position. Kind of weird, I guess. :/

I have a story too and I dont know if its a glitch or not I was eating with some friends at a restaurant. We were waiting for our food to arrive so we were just talking. We were sitting outside the restaurant so we noticed a big red truck that fell in a bump on the road and made this sudden startling noise. The sound kinda scared us but we brushed it off. It took quite a time but our food finally arrived and as we were eating, the exact same red truck passed by again and guess what, it feel in the exact same bump and made the same noise. We were just silent when this happened it was really weird. I don't know, but if I was that driver, I would have avoided that bump on the road... maybe just a weird coincidence?

i thought i am the only one who experienced this and i never talk about it with any one because i didn't want to be ridicul!!!! can some one explain me please what is going on? many years a go i was student and i was in classroom i remember i felt bit tired and closed my eyes then when i open my eyes, i was in a bus traveling to an other town to visit my sister!!! i didn't know whats happened and it was so strange because i was in classroom and now in bus!?! i was panic and act strange in eyes of people and asked how i am in here and people in bus looked at me wierdly!!! i still don't know how i went to the bus!!!!???!!!!

It could even be that you were like "sleepwalking" while awake.. In other words, you were not conscious of yourself in the time between being at school and being in the bus. I'm no expert, this is just a hypothesis.. However, in poor words, vivid dream is a kind of dream where you are conscious inside of it. Sometimes it can be undistinguishable from reality.

There was a day when I was 5 or 6 years old in which I experienced something weird. We were in preschool participating in an activity our teachers had given us, and everything seemed normal, until suddenly my eyesight began becoming red, and figures had a black outline. This lasted for about 2 minutes, all while accompained by some weird cheery music. This has never happened to me again, and I don't suffer from hallucinations.

These need to be more popular. Honestly glitch in the matrix stories are my favorite videos. You should make more! :D

My mom swears to this day of having an entire conversation with me for atleast 30 mins in the kitchen I have no memory of at all. I was in the living room watching tv. When she walked in and was like, 'oh there you are, I wondered where you ran off to all of the sudden' then began trying to pick up the conversation she was having with "me" in the kitchen (nothing weird or strange or creepy just normal family gabbing) I told her I had no idea what was going on, I had been the living room the entire time. But she insisted she had been talking with me in the kitchen moments before and that when she turned around to put a dish away and turned back I had disappeared
