Big Bully Busick was Actually Extremely STRONG... As a former Powerlifter, he almost had the world bench press record at one point in the 1970's, losing only to Big Jim Williams, who outweighed Busick by A Lot... Busick was actually, pound for pound, one of the Strongest Men in THE WORLD at that point in time. Rip, Brother... :)

The best thing about wrestling is that odds are, at some point, every wrestler is or was at least one person's absolute favorite wrestler. I love that. I love the idea that somewhere in the world, in early 1990, some kid was absolutely captivated by Mark Young.

Busick wrestled in Smokey Mt. as Bruiser Bedlam. Had a decent run . He was over enough that Cornett started a taped fist title called brass knuckles championship. He held it pretty much whole time till promotion folded. Lost it several times but won it back next week. These were actually very entertaining matches Ang good gimmick. Damn site better then Big Bully. Had same look. Was good worker. Vince and his "visions" of what to do with wrestler mostly sucked. But when he hit he didn't bunt. He hit grand slams. Or struck out. He really screwed some promising careers up big time. Also made a lot of people rich. That's why I can't watch NXT. Seeing talent get better and better yet knowing when they get to Raw they get the Keith Lee or Cross treatment unbearable. Cross losing first match to Jeff Hardy? Keith Lee manhandled by Lashly who then became became fall guy to get Omass over. Like you need Togo out of your way to get 7 foot 4 400 pound westler over. Didn't help Omass and there's nothing on planet gonna help Jeff but Jeff. Omass harder to watch then Opera. BORING!!! Love seeing Jeff when he's doing well but pretty much given up on him. He certainly seems to have given up on himself. As one who has same issues I can tell him this FOR SURE. Don't defeat yourself. Your the only one who can help you now. it's not impossible it's been done a thousand times by a thousand people. And it's not a illness. It's a life choice. I don't care what you've done or what's been done to you. If you want to be clean it's out there. It's gonna hurt. It's hard as hell. But it's there. Smart and talented as you appear to be you got this in ya. You have money and fame on your side. People will line up to help you but others will line up to use you. Easy to tell who's who.

Conan Chris Walker always cracked me up during his Memphis run. He wasn't a bad worker and he was one of the most impressive physical specimens in the Memphis territory, but the poor guy couldn't cut a promo to save his life. I don't know if it's because he was a rookie and was trying to show respect for the vets, but he was so mild in his promos it was hilarious. He'd usually praise his opponents and then just say something like, "We'll give it a try!" I remember him talking about some other tag team and going, "Well, they sure beat the heck out of us in that previous match, but we learned from it and next time we're gon' show 'em we're as tough as they is!" And then he just nodded and grinned. Likeable, but not exactly terrifying. :)

To me, the golden era was 87 to 92, but I will accept 86 as it really set up Mania III. 93 however is far too shit for me to think that it was still worthy of that distinction. I think the Golden Era ends shortly after Summerslam 92.

Steve Austin’s one of only three good wrestlers we got post-1994 (the other two, before anyone asks, are Goldust & Kane). As I keep saying, 1994 was the last year of the ‘golden’ era (this era began some time in the 80s, but I don’t know what exact date), where the 1994 Survivor Series was the last PPV of this era (no wonder it was the last Survivor Series to take place on Thanksgiving Eve); 1995 was the year of the ‘new generation’ era (the first PPV, of this new era, was that year’s Royal Rumble). Not surprised the Hasbro WWF toy line was reaching its demise, as of post-1994 (again, given that this was the end of the ‘golden’ era). I *can* give recipes, though, for WWE fans who wish Hasbro did make Steve Austin, Goldust and Kane (these three are definitely the only three good wrestlers of the era that began in 1998 - the ‘attitude’ era).

Mark Young was awesome. He almost always popped up the monthly WWF house shows at the Louisville Gardens in Louisville, Kentucky, and my friend and I saw him several times. Every time, he came out and breakdanced before the match. We used Print Shop and markers on my friend's Commodore 128 to make a banner for him once. He may have been a jobber, but he was damned good at what he did.

My dad was a wrestling coach. WWF wrestling was something we were highly discouraged from watching. I watched a little of whatever WCW was called before Ted Turner owned it when i was at my grandparents house on a saturday? Night sometimes. I started watching wrestling again in 1997 or so i actually went to the first ever Monday Night Nitro in the new Denver Nuggets basketball stadium it was called the Pepsi Center at the time I did see the second WWF major event shown on TV that was Hogan VS Andre on television it was in Detroit and Hogan beat Andre. Its late at night and i woke up from sleep so sorry if i forgot the name of these events or typed something wrong. I think its been twenty years since i got into wrestling but I'm usually going to work at the time

And nailz tried to testify against vince McMahon during the steroids trials, I’ve heard he’s a reason why the case was dropped because of him saying that he hated McMahon in court. Ps you can’t say you hate someone in court because it makes the jury think that you are only testifying or suing just so you could ruin there life or take there money, and not that the offender was actually guilty of something
