Football Daily I remember Jonathan Woodgate in his early days he was amazing! and deserved his move to Madrid. Injuries took over so not his fault really. If he has remained injury free we would be talking about him alongside Terry, Ferdinand, Campbell, King and Carragher.

Don't think GK should be 'penalised' just because of the availability. The sub and reserve gk are usually there for the 'what-if' but don't realistically get to play.

Bit harsh on a few in here, particularly the two keepers as most clubs play the same keeper all season unless they get injured, there's no real squad rotation to speak of.

Tomas Rosicky for me deserves to be on this list. Dude always had a sick note for Arsenal yet always available for world cups and Euros for Czech Republic. The very definition of stealing a living as a footballer. At least Diaby was injured for Arsenal and France, not finding some BS wonder cure when international tournaments rocked up

Feel sorry for Michael Owen, he was really good in his first half season at Newcastle and had a good partnership with Alan Shearer. But then got a terrible injury at Newcastle and the 2006 World Cup. And never really recovered there. Then he was really good in his first half season at Man Utd very useful Squad Player who got some important goals before the injuries ranked up again.

Sorry, but if you are a struggling prospect.. come to smaller leagues like my country, the Philippines... or our neighboors Indonesia and Malaysia. We may not be world class (not yet), but we do have passion here, you're gonna get propeely paid (maybe better than what you already have) and you'll definitely get playing time. An addition to this is you'll be helping not just a club, but an entire nation to have better football. You may not win an FA Cup or UEFA Champions League but you will be remembered by our nation.
