Kimmich reminds me of Philipp Lahm. Both are defensive players with excellent ball skills and amazing work rates, started as right backs and eventually moved into the midfield but what puts Lahm miles ahead of Kimmich is winning the ball back so cleanly. A legend.

Bellingham is nothing like Zidane, Zidane glides with the ball and he's graceful with every touch, contact, control and passing of the ball, his first touches are simply out of this world, not to talk of his ball striking from distance

Everyone saying that Bellingham is like Zidane, are probably 20 year olds who only saw a couple clips of Zidane on youtube. People who actually watched Zidane play week in week out wouldn’t even think of making this comparison. Bellingham is a baller but Zidane was an artist.

Personal opinion but some of these are a bit simplistic. Here are a few suggestions: - Haaland => Lewandowski - Bellingham => Kaka - Mbappé => R9 - Szobo => Schweinsteiger - Odegaard => Ozil - Gundogan => Fabregas - Neymar => Garrincha

Gundogan is the new Ballack.... Ferguson is more like Harry Kane.... Strong, two footed and can shoot from anywhere....Odegaard is the new Santi Cazorla... versatile, two footed, can pick a pass, dribbles well, is hard working and can pick a freekick. Ward Prowse is the new david beckham. Vinicus is the new Robinho. Bernardo is the new david silva, they always played similar together.

In about 10 years or so you will see them. Messi is a replica of Maradona with better results and habits. Messi was picked looking for the next Maradona. Although a lot of young strikers remind me of Ronaldo, I have not seen anyone with that poise. At the end it will be very hard to stay on top of the game as long as they did. That is a something very difficult to accomplish.

@@JET7. You are right Ronaldo was not a striker. He was a wide midfielder and then LW. Maradona was a CAM. Messi RW/False 9. The only striker was R9. Although Ronaldo did become a striker during his prime and was very effective. SO Mbappe and Rashford are not similar than Cristiano Ronaldo? You are right about R9, there are no striker that are similar to him these days. No one these days is similar to Messi, just because the game is pointing to a different playstyle in the elite leagues.
