There also was a famous case of a drunken Refferee in Germany. The Refferee Ahlenfelder was trying to stop the first half of a match between Werder Bremen and Hannover 96 after only 32 minutes. After some players told him that it is way too early to stop, he restarted the half and later stopped it in the 43rd minute. They somehow still finished the game with a 0:0. Ahlenfelder later claimed that he had only one Beer and one Malteser with his lunch - a combination that can still be ordered as an Ahlenfelder in Werders club restaurant.

That 6 minute match between Real Sociedad and Real Madrid was an interesting one, but a similar thing happened in the 1995 Copa del Rey final at the Santiago Bernabéu, where Deportivo de La Coruña and Valencia were drawing 1-1 with 10 minutes left and the match was suspended due to heavy rain. Those last 10 minutes were played three days later, and Deportivo scored the winning goal within the first 60 seconds of the new match in order to win their first ever cup.

Darragh Duffy Yes he dives,at least he puts effort in goalscoring. Not scoring tap-ins,penalties and deflections. Btw,I'm not hating on Ronaldo.Just saying his dives annoy me. Other than that,he's a decent player.

Yeah, I remember watching number 6, the World Cup match between Germany and Austria. Although it was never proven whether or not it was a fix, it certainly looked like it. I remember watching it together with German colleagues and 1 Austrian colleague and all of us were mortified. That match put me off watching my national side for years, I felt it was a disgrace for Germany. Still do.
