What I like the best about TC videos is the people. No matter where you go there is what seems like real camaraderie. I appreciate that you are all bold people that appreciate the sweetness of life.

Okinawa seems like an interesting location. So far, we can see that the locals are very welcoming of tourists.

I'm not Japanese, or Okinawan but, I am SE Asian and love bitter melon. In soups, sauteed with eggs or tofu. However it's prepared, I love it and can't get enough. I didn't like it when I was a kid but now I can eat it everyday. It's very good for health

That last place seemed the nicest to me, but I'd also love to try those sea grapes.

So, super weird coincidence. I opened this to watch while I was eating Jamaican food and when they were at the first place I picked up my Johnny cake and was like… this looks like what they’re eating. 😆

I'm curious about the popularity of taco rice in Oki and how it came to be. I grew up in Japan, Kanagawa and Fussa prefectures, and I now live in Texas so seeing taco rice as a staple in Oki is interesting to me.

I wanna be back there ... last time was 4 years ago staying there for about 2 month me and my gf always go to a small family restaurant with only like 6 seats whenever we are on Okinawa Honto and get Taco Rice there :)

I'm from Texas I've had a few taco salads made on a bed of Mexican rice but normally they're in a tortilla bowl sometimes with Mexican rice.

Okinawan food is the best in Japan, no one can change my mind:) Been really missing it after moving to the mainland. Btw. my rec for Blue Seal flavour, that I never see anyone get is Okinawa Ta-imo cheesecake.

Was thinking I would have to hold off on our Japan trip due to flights still not returning to earlier levels, but damn, this food might just be worth it 😬

The sea grape in Okinawa a bit smaller size from the one in South East Asia. But interesting.

Definitely wasn't expecting to see tacos in Japan! But I guess with the tropical weather it shouldn't be surprising...it's probably not too different than SoCal (where I live) climate wise, and we love our tacos here. Though that taco rice seems more like a deconstructed taco to me. (I'm probably biased tho). The spam onigiri makes sense though. Spam is very popular in Hawaii, and a lot of Japanese people live in Hawaii and have probably spread the love to the mother country.

basically theres a castle on that island and there's nothing good to eat with little or lots of money alike.

IDK where you saw the eyeballing unless you mean the camera shot, but he's not controlling the camera. You can tell from the last place that they have someone with them, and the frame moves up and down.
