Prachtig gebied, 140 soorten zou geweldig zijn. Dik meer dan 33% van het totaal aantal soorten in Nederland, zowat op 50%. Wat mooi.

Mooie score! Ook heel gaaf om die kraanvogels met jongen te zien.

You can find the Fochteloërveen around these coördinates: 52.994450, 6.378920 I would advise finding a hotel/hostel/bed and breakfast in the city Assen. Then you can take bus #14 to Veenhuizen. Then from there you can make a hike in the area. If you have a car at your disposal the city Groningen would also be a nice place to stay.
