There are so many Korean rappers, it's nearly impossible for me to research them all since I'm a single-man team doing it. Bewhy I've researched, he's 100% not here because his fastest is 8.88sps in Superbewhy. Khundi, Kid Milli, and Don Malik I haven't done a full look at all of their discography to know an accurate count. I know Kid Milli does some complex ass rhythms so, he could probably have a sleeper verse we don't expect. Khundi I'd expect to be just out like Bewhy... Don Malik I'm the least familiar with, as I really only listen to him on features.

@@carkpop Oh my God, I didn't think this would be so difficult to do. Clicking on the chronometer, clicking on the video, counting the syllables of a langage I don't know, 😆. It's taking me forever. You definitely know how to do these things better. That 8 seconds thing is tough, I'm always a bit longer or a bit shorter. Or I'm not really sure where the stops when I click at my chrono reaching 8 secs (because of the language). I've got a lot of 60-63. District 9 was really interesting, I wanted to do it because I wanted to check out Hyunjin and Han. Han is actually faster with 74 (if I'm not wrong), I had Changbin at 62 and Hyunjin at 53. I checked out Han's "I Got it" and have him at 79. Maybe more at other spots, not sure how to guess the best spots. I try to do it on what I hear is the fastest part, but there are more than one. Anyway, I think Han should be in these fastest rappers lists. Not necessarily on top, but he's definitely there. "Easy" was disappointing to me (63) because that fast rap is faster than yours up there but I took his entire first rap (more or less) to have the 8 sec, because the fastest part of his rap must be like only 5secs, and it's about 50 syllables in these 5secs. So if it were 8 secs of this, I'd actually get these 80 syllables. On the other hand I have Hyunjin on a 7.28 syllables per second but his rap is only 7seconds. But regardless of all this, I want to point out that it's not a coincidence that out of the 10 rappers on your list, 7 are non k-pop rappers. And the 3 k-pop rappers' selected raps, are not from a k-pop song (either solo stuff or a featuring in a non k-pop rap song). Rappers in k-pop are sometimes "constricted" by the fact that there are so many members. What I mean is that everyone's got to have their parts. There are raps, bridges, choruses. In some way, it sometimes limits the possibilities to hit those 8 seconds for just one person. Not sure I'm expressing myself well, but anyway. Anyway, it was fun to do this, but I'll let the headaches to the experts from now on. 😂

@@GaelleCathy You can't compare different time constants, otherwise someone who hits a short burst of say 11 sps in 3 seconds will be over someone who raps 10.50 sps in 8 seconds, its not really fair so all of these are compared off the same time constant. If you go to Matts channel there is a k-pop list, Han hits 9.63 at his fastest and is in the top 10. Changbins fastest verse is equally Mirror Mirror and Double knot 3racha with 9.75 SPS.

Heyyy shoutout to you for actually giving this a try!! I have SO MANY people who comment this on my videos and when I say the same thing to them, I'm met with "Just Google it". The truth is, it's currently misinformation spread by STAY, taking a number that is from Speed Reading and applying it to rapping. But thank you so much for giving it an attempt. The fastest I have for changbin is "Mirror Mirror" at 2:20 into the song (where he goes HWEE in a high pitch). He gets 78 Syllables in 8 seconds there (9.75sps). As for Han, the fastest for him is the song "Scissor" where he gets 77 syllables in 8 seconds at 0:24 in the song only lyric version. But yeah, I've been doing this for years, and it's super super super tedious to make sure I get the right info I geneuinely appreciate you going out of your way to try to find it, but yeah... it doesn't exist in an actual rap verse. As for the time constant, 8 seconds works really well in my opinion because that's what dictates a rap verse usually. Especially in the older days of Kpop, raps were usually 4 bars, which would roughly be 8 seconds. The fact that raps nowadays sometimes struggle to even hit 4 bars or 8 seconds is a bit concerning for me, but that's typically where I draw the line between rapping & just like, singing with rhythm/? I guess? but yeah, thank you thank you thank you for giving this a try. I wish more people commenting did it too :)

And they accused me for being stay and fighting a army/BTS. And i said ,Yoongi isn't the fastest in BTS but RM is and also jungkook once did outsider's Rap so maybe he also might be fast alng with namjoon.. but they were just focusing on "i wasn't accepting Yoongi."

Agust d just isn't as fast as these guys (not hate, I'm an ARMY too), and Jin can talk fast but he hasn't actually rapped fast in a song.
