Harriet Tubman was a very brave, selfless woman who suffered much in her life to help others. This is the sign of a very great, strong woman. Thank you for bringing this brave woman's life to light.

What an amazing life she pursued and lived. That woman must have been as tough as nails refusing anesthesia for a BRAIN surgery, YIKES.

That final image is not of Harriet Tubman. Although it is often mistaken for her, its actually Sorjourner Truth.

I did a speech too the audience in 2nd grade about Harriet and had too read much about her prior to this speech and til this day she’s u forgettable and glad I believe in the same Lord who paved my way thru trials and tribulations of being black in America and many more battles he assisted with. And I’m still here too tell the tell. God is good and has not forgot about those who Ben thru similar sufferings as the one whom God has sent ! There’s much I want too say about this historical situation so yes amazing woman

That was amazing. Thank you for the so many things I didn't know. Harriet Tubman was so tough, Chuck Norris slowly backs away from her.

Why no mention that Ms Tubman became 1st Lady to lead armed military conflict during the same Combahee River campaign you featured on this video flick? HUGE oversight!

American Revolutionary War: When Southern Loyalist and Redcoats burn homes, farms and liberate slaves in their search for patriots, they harden the Revolutionary Resolve of the Southern People. American Civil War: Black People that knew what they were fighting for, fought with the Union for freedom. I just wish that people learn that we are all equal! #BlackLivesMatter
