    Ha I had a short conversation how I hated to wear a hard hat on walking to a small office atached to mining equipment repair shop buildings. (As much now people hate wearing a mask over hours, which I only find unconfortable on hotter enviroments.) Where along were no cranes but maybe a roof tile would slide down. There in the shops yes. Ok a helmet would not help here. Also the wire could snap after several missuses like that.

    Yes it's probably an emergency and that was the only way so do it. plus most of these so far seem like rescues which are always more sketchy then normal operation because someone obviously went past the limit

    He couldn’t bring that wrecker into most of these construction sites. Have done both and a very rarely seen a heavy wrecker on construction sites like these. If not accessible from hard surface Hes SOL in these muddy hell holes. Not all but most. His outriggers would tip him over fairly rapidly with anything of real weight lifted. It’s mostly fill and sludge.
