10. Exploring Schiedam, in watercolor and oil paint.
I visited two locations for commissioned houseportraits this week. I went to Schiedam and I drove to the south for a house in the country. You see me working on a commissioned houseportrait in oil. For me this is a large size. It's a lot of work but I like it. After building the composition in angular shapes it is great to paint the movements and reflections in the water. While the paint is drying I make a quick watercolor from the city of Schiedam.

entrancing to watch.. i appreciate how he doesn't feel the need to fill every moment up with words.. #peaceful ..though when he does comment, what he says seems so profound. learning so much watching

Dogs are wonderful in paintings. I am reminded of Rembrandt putting a dog relieving itself in his painting!

Thank you for sharing these deep views into your work as a professional artist. I am quite impressed by all the time and devotion you invest into the creation of the videos. Excellent camera work and own music. Wow! I made a watercolor copy of the painting for myself. Could not resist. The yellow stripe on the bow ist so powerfull. Love it. Hope you are not angry. Your studio looks perfect. It seems to be the perfect shelter for creation. Maybe cold during winter and hot in the summer times. But it´s always good to stay in contact with the elements. Whenever it will take me the Netherlands, your gallery will be on my list. Keep up the great work, I am looking forward for next inspirations!

Тежък, но толкова удовлетворяващ труд‼️Нима още не са се избили за твоите картини, скъпи Титус⁉️🧙💞
Arches watercolor paper, very nice. I love that paper but i'm curious to see what the saunders waterford does with wet on wet tecnique.
your video appears overexposed ? i liked the painting part anyway!
Hi TItus, could you expand sometime on what you mean with 'do what the painting is asking'? I don't fully comprehend what you mean with this and how it works. It sounds more like a gut feeling than a conscious ''technical' decision? Love the Schiedam painting btw.
Where do you buy art materials?
It would have taken me a week two days is great
28:42 very interesting
Prachtig. Zonde dat ze geen krokodil hadden..
How on earth you make any money for your beautiful paintings when a gallery takes 50pc of your money ?
