She seems like a lovely person and I'm sure she has the best intentions, but I'm a bit sad to hear that "natural = good, unnatural = bad" thing yet again... There's so many natural things that will kill you and many unnatural things that are harmless or beneficial as far as we can tell. I really wish we could just rely on actual science and proof instead of appeals to nature... As much as we all love nature, it's not always the best thing for us.

Great point! Overall, good video. An addition; Flouride is natural & beneficial. It is naturally-occuring in some water sources & has helped people live longer (through reducing infections in dental nerves by strengthening teeth). This has been proven by nature & science to be a healthy addition to our lives, if used responsibly. There are people benefiting from misinforming the public on Flouride, from people selling alternative products to people trying to distract the public from the quality of their city drinking water; ie: Flint, Michigan. I understand & sympathize with people trying to emphasize the quality of the products in our lives rather than the quantity, but we need to be able to critically evaluate sources to do that effectively.

Calcium fluoride is natural, and in small amounts harmless. In higher concentrations it can cause skeletal fluorosis, a painful and debilitating calcification of the skeleton, as happens in some areas of India. What they put into the drinking water, however, is sodium fluoride and/or fluorosilicic acid, two synthetic forms of fluoride. These are by-products of industrial processes. We are told that they strengthen our teeth by contact. Even supposing that that is true (and the quality of the data "proving" it is very poor), why then should we be swallowing it? That's about the level of logic that would say "sunscreen protects our skin when we apply it topically, therefore let's put it in all our food." One thing to consider is that 97% of western Europe drinks unfluoridated water. During the last fifty years, their rates of tooth decay have fallen MORE than the rates in the US, where most municipal water supplies are fluoridated. If fluoride is doing what we've been told it does, shouldn't it be the other way around?

I agree, that's why I love Rob's channels so much. :-) Basically, any brand that doesn't have a factory in China is a good start. Tracking down how they get their components and even more importantly raw materials for them is harder. Many companies have bold claims and promises, but thus far the only company that makes and recycles their products responsibly and sustainable is the FairPhone, but for laptops and computers I still haven't found one.

Did I see that right? Does she have tattoos? Perhaps it's a bit negative to comment, but it seems to be very common for people who practice minimalism, veganism and healthy eating habits, to have tattoos. If you're concerned about health and you're thinking of getting a tattoo, DON'T. The ink is toxic and it migrates throughout your body. In addition, it's an unnecessary use of resources (albeit a slight one). Yes, I know, don't focus on being perfect, but isn't this an easy thing to avoid?
