Serious sam is my favorite sci-fi fantasy

I've now seen two games where you can find evidence of Raz's death. The other is A Hat in Time. Specifically the last room of Queen Vanessa's Manor if you use the dweller mask.

Ive never had the pleasure of playing half-life 2, but as a teenager, i found the case for the game and in it was a player manual/walkthrough with a bunch of developers art for the game and it made me love a game, without ever playing it. Crazy

The Duke Nukem skeleton in Serious Sam 2 wasn't the only jab at Duke Nukem Forever. There was a conversation between the aliens referring to Duke, just not directly.

For Video Game Easter Eggs/References to other Video Games: In Zombie Army 4's Ragnarok Part 2 DLC during the first "Survive the Ambush" objective, one of the characters, when giving story exposition about the beginning of the universe, says the line "In primordial space, timeless creatures made waves." This is referencing the exact same line from Marathon 2 of the famous Marathon series.

The last one doesn't have to be specifically Ezio and just ANY Assassin really

DOOM 2016 also has the skull of Commander Keen (identifiable by his football helmet) impaled on a pike.

Would've been cool that if in Mad Max they had a reference to Snake from MGS considering MGSV released on the exact same day as Mad Max. Glad to see Mad Max getting more acknowledgement nowadays though. ☺️

I swear he sees an assassin and goes that’s Ezio, it looks more like Desmond

If Rage 2 wasn't so long ago, I'd swear it was from this new Mirage game; the blood splatter on the ground resembles more his red smoke bomb.

Heck yeah! I've been waiting for the Gordan Freeman easter egg in STALKER to appear on this channel for a while. I found him when I played through Shadow of Chernobyl and carried his pistol with me through the rest of the game. His pistol, a unique varient called "Big Ben" is also speculated to be a reference to Gabe Newell of Valve. This is from the STALKER fandom wiki, so it's not official, but it's also another cool reference.

Cap'n Egg, there is a reference in the new Cyberpunk 2077 expansion, Phantom Liberty City where in the camp in the abandoned building in Dogtown, there is a poster with the name Dead Life 3, another reference to the lack of the third entry of the Half Life series

So I recently started playing Dead Island 2 and I realized the circuit breakers in the beginning of the game have a little yellow padlock on them that is a lockout tagout lock for industrial use and it actually makes sense for it to be there

A Psycho Head from Borderlands

Definitely the Dragonborn, iron helmet, arrow in the knee, it matches.

Pretty sure the Doom one is one of those city guards talking about the "arrow in the knee" all the damn time xD Or it is the Dragonborn, and they found his Achilles - ahem - knee. (I'll see myself out now) Interesting detail: If you approach the much hated Nazeem in Skyrim as a naked man, their is a chance he might say your presence makes him uncomfortably hot. There is also dialogue hinting that he might be gay, and that's why he spends so much time with Jarl Balgruuf. His woman also seems to have a lover, because Jensen in the Temple of Kynareth has a key to the deleted Wintersand Manor, just like Ahlam and Nazeem.

I found a scene in the big canal in Night City that made me think it was the two protagonists from the similarly located chase scene in Terminator 2, in a bad end reference. Not sure if you've ever covered this, and of course it isn't video game character exclusive, but the Cyberpunk reference in this video reminded me of it so I figured I'd go ahead and mention it.

hey fun fact about Doom 2016, so there are 3 fallout references, 2 are well known but the third is far more subtle, the toy "stealth guy" is odd, simply put its a dark grey but a dark maroon visor, this is near teh same exact coloration as the chinese stealth suit.

Gordon Freeman (or Eli Vance) make an appearance in the Metro franchise. Specifically the records building in Exodus' Caspian level.

Valve is just allergic the number three i bet they dont put three in any of there sequal games.

There are 2 neat little details in Starfield during the Unearthed mission that I don't think you have covered yet. 1) In the room right before the no gravity zone, the one after the long ramp down, if you open your scanner you will notice that the gravity of the area is not 1 (the normal gravity of the level) but is actually 0.75. This detail is cool since it is pretty immersive (as you are approaching a no grav zone) but you would almost never notice it unless you were walking around with your scanner up and was checking the grav during that small zone. 2) This relates more to how the game handles the different zones of gravity, but if you enter the no grav zone through the office and turn around, you will see all the office supplies fly off the desk. It turns out that the way the game simulates localized gravity anomalies is by setting a zone where when you enter the gravity of the map gets changed to the appropriate number and when you leave that zone it gets changed back. The former is a cool little detail that is immersive, the second is something that modders will undoubtly use when the Creation Kit for Starfield comes out to make some cool level design.

I nearly gave up on San Andreas in 2011 because I got so sick of hearing "just follow the damn train CJ!!" God I hated that mission almost as much as the RC Helicopters from vice City.
