Jesus is coming back soon, don't be left behind forever. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. Revelation 19:7-9 ✝🌅

@@AntwerpLocomotive Jesus didn't try to make it fairer or to do away with an "imaginary" permanent hell or a lake of fire. Considering the importance of biology and environment in every individual, which leaves for limited free will, Jesus didn't know about the importance of evolution, biology, and environmental causes. He sanctioned slavery! He didn't know about germ theory! There is some free choice and less free will. But Identical Twins Separated at Birth Studies show biology is extremely important in shaping who we are and what we believe and, of course, environmental factors are important. There may be some free choice but it's a lot less than most think (scientists know better) If people don’t realize the importance of biology and the environment, they are ignorant and not logical or have no understanding of science or common science. Like You! Jesus didn't know we are the third stone from the stone but Jimi Hendrix did.

I mean taxes are fairly important it has been the basis for running human civilization ever since the first civilizations have been founded in river valleys like sumeria, indus river valley civilization, china, egypt. Taxes pay for everything that we have in our civilization on a macroeconomical and macrosocial point of view, they fund our infrastructure, social subsidies, militaries, etc. sure not everyone uses these products/services provided to us but their is no other way of doing it as tested in this method, other "solutions" putten up constitutes as borderline anarchic in nature.

I once knew a guy who was a state cop. He told a few of us this story: He was in the back of an unmarked police van with about 10 other state troopers, on the way to a picnic or something. The Sergeant driving the van went into a store to buy some beer and snacks (It was an off duty event). A few minutes later the door opened, then the van started up. The cops in the back were surprised at how fast the sarge came back. They started calling up to the front, "hey sarge, throw some beer back here!" no answer. This happened several more times, before one of the cops opened up the sliding door into the drivers area. There were two teenagers driving the van. They were quickly arrested.

He was sent by his parents with a cheque that he was supposed to give to my parents for restitution, but he f*cked off with it instead (and I'm guessing he must have forged one of my parents' signatures and cashed it) he was found on the following Sunday night in the city, drunk and stoned on hash, having spent pretty much all of the money from the cheque...My parents even got an order against him, he was then not allowed to come anywhere near the house, or he would have been arrested...

In one trial, in my Circuit Court, a guy charged with kidnapping his ex girlfriend testified that he had kidnapped her for her own protection and he would never hurt her. But it turns out, that the smart prosecutor had the goods on this dope. You see, he had shot this same woman six times in the chest and left her to die on a canal bank and had just gotten out after 10 years in prison. If he had not testified that he would never hurt her, the prosecutor would have not been able to put his shooting her into evidence. I Sentenced him to life in prison and he lost every appeal all the way to the Supreme Court.

I was a Baltimore City Juvenile Probation Officer from 1975 to 1980, Palm Beach Assistant States Attorney from 1980 to 1986 when I became a Palm Beach County Judge. I retired in the early to mid 2000s. I’m getting a percentage of retirement pensions from each service. I was a Baltimore City teacher for 6 miserable months, not long enough to have vested pension rights. So when I make a comment about some criminal law situation I draw a little from each job experience. Hell, I worked in a gas station, a pet store and as a life guard, paying my way through college. When I was a Probation Officer I went to court a lot and I saw many dumb, incompetent lawyers and I figured, hey, maybe I can be a lawyer too (if that jerk made it). As a Prosecutor I went before Judges who weren’t too bright and figured that maybe I could do that too. I was incredibly lucky too; I admit that. I came to these jobs when there were lots of openings. I might not be able to accomplish what I did, if I were starting out now. It’s much harder now. Florida was actually advertising out of state to get lawyers when I started out. When I became a Judge, there were only eleven of us for the largest county, land wise, in Florida. There are probably thirty plus Judges now I figure and ten lawyers on every corner here now.

Loved the charge on the siphon guy - theft by unlawful taking. I mean, isn’t that what theft is? Unlawful taking?

This was not social media related but there was a Polish author named Krystian Bala. He brutally murdered a man and was never caught up until the time where he wrote a book called “Amok” in which the antagonist in the book also described how he killed his victims exactly how he did the killing. The police were informed how parts of the book was linked to the real killings that time. He got arrested but his book sales skyrocketed. That’s one way to sell a book, I guess.
