    Probabably not. 1. Left hand exhaust issue is an UK only problem, and I doubt that they change the driving sides only to gain back 10% HP on a niche car. 2. Mirrossize is actually a good idea (e.G. not seeing the Bicycle rider while turning is number one reason of death for bicycle riders. Better mirrors help... and BTW EU Regulations even allow vor NO MIRROR AT ALL - if cameras are installed instead.) 3. yellow turn lights are a good idea, so that they are distinct form brake lights. The US even discussed adopting that several times now. 4. The daylights are AFAIK no regulation thing at all. Its Ford's choice. The type of daylight lamps would be legal - see e.G, the current Peugeots. In general I doubt that UK would change these regulations even after brexit. Well and regarding the BREXIT thing: If that was a good idea or a terrible mistake will be seen. I'd say: currently I'd put my money on "mistake".

    VW group and other car brands are lobbying to make the rules the same in both sides of the Atlantic but so far no success, for example in US ABS is a extra not mandatory but in Europe every car after 2004 needs it, but in US Airbag is mandatory when in Europe is optional being only used by every brand to be able to have the 5 star Ncap ranting...

    The v6 is a far more capable engine than the 4 cylinder ecoboost. The 4 cylinder EB features a cast crank whereas the 3.7 is forged. The 3.7 also has regular sequential port injection instead of direct port so injectors are easier and cheaper to find for higher boost applications. A little research goes a long way.

  • @armadillolover99

    @armadillolover99

    What really sucks about it is that the whole reason the Focus RS wasn’t selling here was that dealers had insane markups on it, sometimes more than $20,000 over MSRP because Ford called it “limited production” and dealers thought they could get away with charging a premium for it. So now we’re stuck without the best hot hatch and I’m pissed because I wanted one.

    Cyprus also but majority of countries drive on the right side of the road. Old Britishes colonies drive on the left side. And before a part of Canada drove on the left, they changed in the begin of the 20 century in the USA, US virgin island drive on the left and for the 49 states on the continent, the law for the right driving began in 1792. And until 1804, the state of New york drove on the left ;) In europe, Sweden drove also on the left, they change the Dagen H in 1967. For me the logic it's drive on the right side of the road but i'm not sure in term of quantity of people, if there are more in the world in the left or in the right. Because India drive on the left... A map there, in red right, blue, left upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/32/Countries_driving_on_the_left_or_right.svg?uselang=fr But since the UK voted the brexit, they decided to change to side of the driving. During 1 month, only trucks'll drive on the right, If there are no crash during this period, cars'll follow the next month :D

    Well... In Denmark we pay 160% tax on cars and 25%VAT, making the Mustang GT V8 cost around 120.000 USD. Petrol would be around the same, 7 USD/Gallon Insurance and roadtax per year would be another 1200USD + 1000USD per year Income tax here is between 48% and 66%, making it very normal to have a mortgage on a car over 10 years. Politicians in Denmark hates cars, it sucks..!!! (BTW - Tax on cars were just lowered to 160% from 180% last year)

    Anyone got an idea if the build quality of the EU cars is better than the US? I have seen quite a few people complain about the fitting etc on the US cars. The one GT a neighbor has here (EU) seems fine for now. P.S. - As far as I understood, it's not the EU version that got less power, just the UK one, right?

  • @dianamaioru497

    @dianamaioru497

    3 жыл бұрын

    Correct- the UK is the one with less power because of the left hand drive. The rest of Europe has right hand drive, and the American amount of power.

  • @unconventionalideas5683

    @unconventionalideas5683

    2 жыл бұрын

    The EU cars are built in the same factory, so in theory it should be the same. Older versions of the Mustang used to have many more cheap plastics, and since American automakers used to do the interior last, it looked like they had spent money on everything and then ran out of it for the interior, which is true because all of the cost overruns would have to be dealt with in the interior. That is much less true nowadays.

    Judging from a quick search at car sites, Mustangs in Sweden are available with red rear lights, hood vents, 350R models. I wonder if the changes to rear turn signals and front light/reflectors apply here. No idea what countries have different laws on these things and the video is relevant for :S

    To say "EU Mustangs get less power" because the Britons drive on the wrong side of the road is a bit wimpy. US and (Continental) Europe Mustangs have exactly the same engine in the same engine bay. It's the Brits who have to make a fuss...Furthermore, not only are Mustangs rarer than hens' teeth, the V8 is rarer still. Most Mustang lovers settle for the entru level V6 which is plenty nice as it is, thank you very much. The comment at 2:12 is incorrect.Price... why the price in £ Sterling ? are we talking "Europe" or "Britain"? oh, that's right, you're an islander...
