I was honestly worried that you were going hungry from the small amounts of food they gave you for each meal - it's not even close to what we see you consume in a day. I'm glad you survived the quarantine and hope Christine's family are all doing well.

  • @rilessmiles6590

    @rilessmiles6590

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@martijnbuunk Do you have a reputable source for this? Aluminium is all around us (even in water supplies). Your body absorbs less than 1% of the background aluminium in food or drinking water. Ninety-five percent of this is cleared by the kidneys. Most of the environmental aluminium you are exposed to passes out of your system within 24 hours. The average adult eats roughly 7-9 milligrams of aluminium per day. This amount can vary based on local environmental conditions or diet or cookware. Neither the FDA nor the European Food Safety Authority have found that this exposure is high enough to cause problems in healthy adults. It is true that aluminium exposure has been linked to dementia, impaired neural function and lung irritation, but this is never caused by routine, dietary exposure.

  • @martijnbuunk

    @martijnbuunk

    But while cooking your food in aluminium pots or pans isn't a bad thing, placing it in foil and putting it in the oven is problematic. This is especially true with acidic or spicy food that's prepared at high temperatures.

  • @rilessmiles6590

    @rilessmiles6590

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@martijnbuunk Still okay on occasion according to most sources. They say as a general precaution you shouldn't cook/wrap acidic food using foil multiple times a week though, that is true. It probably wouldn't cause harm either way; it's still better to use parchment paper when cooking, and glass containers for storage.

    Great video as always. If you have to do another quarantine I would recommend getting a Nintendo Switch with the online service. Would love to see vids of you and your wife playing games in the go between meals and work. So many great classics to play together.

    Hi Mikey. Not only did they have you in quarantine but they also had you on a hunger strike with that little bit of food, I mean compared to the amount of food that you normally eat. I enjoy watching your videos. I also love eating my food with you. When I order out or cook I tune into your channel and eat right along. God bless you and your wife! You have found your match. She is absolutely beautiful!!! 🥂

    I'm scared of what they consider "Western" food while in quarantine. Considering your menu this time, I would have preferred the bulgogi place more. At least you could order from grocers there & I can't believe they don't even give people a microwave. I'm not cut out for traveling any more it seems. 🤣

    Really hope countries start removing quarantine travel.. just do pre departure/on arrival test IF really necessary to feel “safer”… getting redundant when local community cases are so high… look at Japan… closed their borders all this time but still hitting 90k+

    The Japanese government would like to keep the borders closed to foreigners forever if they could. The supposed “pandemic” is a perfect excise to do so. It’s like the Edo jidai all over again.
