For the Bambi's Mother one, it was actually in the script to have Judge Doom (from Who Framed Roger Rabbit?) Shoot, and kill Bambi's Mother. It was scrapped halfway through production.

"Disney frequently re-used animation to save time. They re-used animation from Bambi for Beauty and the Beast. Therefore the only logical conclusion is that Gaston killed Bambi's mom". I don't think I followed the logic there.

Regarding Oogie Boogie, I remember reading something somewhere that said he actually WASN'T an original resident of Halloween Town, but was sort of an immigrant after his own holiday, "Bug Day" basically became one of those things better left forgotten. This actually makes sense when you think about it, due to his sadistic nature and openly-homicidal behavior being FAR more extreme than that of the other residents. Despite all of them being monsters, the citizens of Halloween Town actually admit that they don't mean any harm in what they do during the song "This is Halloween" in the form of the verse; "Tender lovelies everywhere, life's no fun without a good scare. That's our job, but we're not mean in our town of Halloween." Basically, the citizens of Halloween Town embody the spirit of Halloween itself: Being scared can be fun, so long as it's not mean-spirited and no one gets hurt in the process. Oogie Boogie, however, does not share their ideals, which is why he lives on his own, isolated from the rest of the residents, save for the trick-or-treating trio of Lock, Shock, and Barrel, who act as his minions. These children, however, are not actually malicious in their own natures, as they have been shown to fear Oogie Boogie, and only try to stay on his good side.

I love the connections between the Disney movies I think it just makes it so much more interesting that would make you watch the movies all over again just to spot the connections

Just because she might be a witch, it wouldn't mean she never will have any other carrier or interests. And its not like something is true just because you got a theory on it. What is more likely? That someone actually went and killed Sully and took his fur and sewed a toilet cover of him? or that someone might have seen him, maybe really liked him or his fur pattern and tried to incorporate it into the things they create? Hunters usually make carpets and head plaques of the things they kill, not toilett covers.

Just gonna drop this here. Kristoff is based off the Sami people living in nothern scandinavia and they breed reindeers. Svens mother was simply in ripe age for slaughter. Their pelts is used for all sorts including clothes etc. Don't think young viewers would like the Kristoff as much if they showed that. And I know this cuz im part sami.

In the original, he's not actually a good person. Disney has a habit od giving stories better endings or making the characters nicer/crueler to fit a narrative. Of you think Peter Pan was bad, don't look up any of the Grimm brothers' versions of the fairytales Disney used as a basic for many of their classic movies . . . Or any of the original stories, actually. Most of the fairytales Disney has adapted have been heavily altered to have nicer endings. Pocahontas isn't even an actual fairytale, she was a real person, and hwr story was much different to what Disney portrayed.

Im confused about the citizens of Halloween town dying in the real world. How has this been established? I think Halloween town (as well as the other Holiday towns) just exist somewhere undiscovered by mortals. Jack flies to the real world (and knows where it is), opposed to taking (or discovering) a magical portal, which means it all exists on the same plane. The reason Oogie Boogie seems dated is because the story takes place "A long time ago, longer now than it seems." I think Halloween town is just a spooky place, or merely perhaps one that we just see in our dreams...

For me and i know it's not on the list but the saddest deaths for me are Mufasa Ellie And Tadashi Each of these people held a close relationship with someone in their family Mufasa being close to Simba and simba wanted to be just like his dad. Ellie was the only one that Carl could really bond with their love of adventuring. Tadashi was the pillar that helped hold Hiro up and wasn't about to let his little brother gain a criminal record by bot fighting or worse losing him like he lost his parents.

The Emperor's New Groove scene was a jab at the movie "The Fly" that starred Vincent Price.

It seems you know nothing about Sami, the native people of scandinavia...A lot of things with Kristoff is based on the Sami. Sami traditionally take care of reindeer for a living, that means they take care of the young, herd them, and slaughter them for meat, skin and horns. It is nothing strange for them to wear deer pelts as clothing. And Svens mother isnt necissarily dead, animal mothers sometimes abandon their children because of different reasons such as the child being too sick, to frail, or just not having any mothering feelings, it would only be natural for a Sami to step in and take care of the reindeer... Sometimes Sami kids are gifted their own reindeer babies to learn to take care of them.

Why wouldn't he know that? Kristoff is as said, based on the Sami. He lived worked with the ice workers as a kid up till the Frozen movie, he isnt Mowglii, he was never cut off from human society even if the trolls took care of him, so he surely learned about his own traditions and history. And as seen in the movie, he had already gotten his own reindeer so someone must have taught him about raising reindeers.

I think reason why the monsters scared of kids is probably because of JACK-JACK

Alternative theory: Oogie Boogie looks kinda similar to the automatons in Tim Burton's film "9", albeit way less advanced as he does not have metal hands and feet or lenses for eyes. This means he could have been a prototype the professor used for a missing 10th part of his soul, the evil part all of us keep subdued or hidden. Since the professor could not control Oogie he killed him which sent that part of his soul to the lands of the dead, a part of which is Halloween Town.

If Gaston really did kill Bambi's mom, he is truly a monster!

Still makes more sense than most of the theories on this list. Even if it's just a fun nod to older audiences to keep them invested in a children's film (which such movies do all the time), the possibility of it being an unspecified transformed human still fits.

The only problem with Bambi's mother being in Beauty and the Beast is a bit of technicality. Bambi and his mother are listed as mule-deer, native to western North America, not found in Europe at all. So, technically, Gaston would not likely be the killer. Again, this is all based of technical details.

Just to add to this, Flower is a skunk, and we see chipmunks and raccoons amongst the other woodland animals. these are all native to North America, and certainly not Europe in the 18th or 19th centuries. Whilst it isnt impossible Gaston could have sailed to the New World from France to go hunting, then sailed back, i think it unlikely.

Gaston did not kill Bambi's mother. You saw the Hunter and you also saw the rifle which is a modern-day hunting weapon what Gaston had was a musket and they sound different then what the rifle does. So Gaston did not kill Bambi's mother. Also they show you the type of clothing the gentleman were wearing you saw hats you saw jackets you saw pants they did not look like the stuff during the time. Gaston was supposed to be alive in

It's not really a role reversal, because Peter was originally meant to be the villain. It's more a call back to the original.
