I saw the Hope Diamond on display. It was stunning. It has a way of drawing you toward it, making you want it. I say this as someone who is not interested in jewels. I'd rather have iron pyrite, quarts, or even a nice piece of granite.

I have a feeling I would be in trouble because I love jewelry, especially antiques.

I’ve actually seen the Hope Diamond in person because I was on a school trip to DC and I went to the museum that has the diamond. And I must say, it is a very beautiful diamond to look. It have a very rich dark blue color to it

correction: Stay away from the jewels that has been looted from India.

Gems carry aura and diamonds to some cultures are considered cursed. Most of the cursed stones originated in India, in temples where statues of divine forms were adorned with gems. Invasions pillaged and stole a lot of gems. An ancient practise that still exists in temples is to invoke the vibratory resonance during the installation of divine statues. Most of these cursed stones are diamonds and also a ruby and sapphire or two. My birthstone is the emerald and I wondered if any of these are known to be cursed. If not, perhaps it's because the world's most valuable emeralds are worth only a fraction of what the price tags of the most famous diamonds.
