This week's video is a response to one of our beloved subscribers! He used my UX Case Study template and made it through to the final stage of the process. He then asked, what questions should he prepare for the interviewers. 👉Watch next How to TRANSITION from JUNIOR to MID-LEVEL as a UX/UI Designer - kzread.info/dash/bejne/iaeV1tCypNuvo9Y.html How to Present a UX Case Study in a Job Interview (Download Template) - kzread.info/dash/bejne/jIqOyLmfodC4crw.html Create STUNNING Interactive Presentations | Figma Tutorial - kzread.info/dash/bejne/hYJn1pqqmbfHYrQ.html Yours truly, Mizko

Thank you!! I have my final interview for a UX writing position tomorrow. This was so helpful
Dude you drop so much gems, I remember watching your video like an hour before my interview last year and they asked the exact questions you had in your videos and I got the job. I know I'll come back to this video.
Thank you for this video! This list of questions is great! I asked them myself a lot of times during my interviews and they really helped me to figure out if a company is toxic or not. I also feel like I have to share a story here :) I was looking for a product designer position and had interviews for two companies simultaneously. I am a person who asks a lot of questions during an interview, cause I am always interested in details how a business works, how their design process looks like, and so on. And I always try to push interview to a dialog form rather than just monolog. So, long story short, one of the companies hired me because they were impressed with my attitude and willingness to dig and explore. Another one rejected me saying "you asked too many questions" 🤣 What should I say.. Not ALL the companies are interested in hiring someone who will challenge them. Define it for yourself first, what type of employee you're. Some people are good executors, some are visioners and so on. Answers you get during your interviews can help you find a good working environment for fulfilling your needs.

Thanks Katsiaryna! I’m glad it all worked out for you and you deserve a company that respects who you are :) We don’t live in a perfect world, so there will always be companies (or more specifically hiring managers) that feel insecure about being questioned. In the end, it’s a blessing in disguise as these companies were never right for you in the first place 🙏🏼

Thanks for this! Really good questions 🙌
This is so useful. Thank you for sharing!!
Very informative, amazing video Mizko! Thank you for sharing
So helpful. Thank you for sharing!
I feel like you're spot on with these, Mizko. The only thing I would mention is that I'm often not able to ask these questions because the interviewer has done their homework and answered them without me asking. Then I have to come up with new questions on the fly. 😉
Thank you so much for this video. Really great questions, thanks a million!
Thanks so much Mizko for your helpful videos and channel !

This is a really good video Michael! Great questions and well explained. Nailed it. Thanks for the amazing content. I'd love to see a video on competency-based questions like "tell us about a time when...". I struggle with these. Generally because I can't remember. (embarrassed emoji)

Ha! No problem. I'll line these ones up 🤙🏼
To really give you an idea if that's the place you actually want to work at or not just ask the interviewer: "Do you enjoy working here?". The body language never lies.
Moin / oi I just wanted to say THANK you those were some great questions! I was a bit afraid to ask one ( who makes the calls) thinking back i totally should but huge thank you i brought them up in my interview:)
Great video! 👍 Me in post-interview questions, I like to ask « What do you like the most, and what do you hate the most in the company ». It's always a surprising question 😅 This way, I can evaluate if the person is authentic about the company and I already know what challenges I will deal with if I join the company.
If we judge our current companies on the scale of these critical questions, most of us would like to find new companies to work for! These questions are an eye-opener for me! Thank you @Mizko
This is gold!

Thank you for this a mazing video.. so helpful👏👏
Love your hoodie. Where did you get them? And what kind of fabric is this?
Answers for those pre- interview questions usualy are provided in job listings. Asking them willmake it look that you didn't read it.
This is very nice.

Question 3 🔥
Now THESE are the questions you should be asking!
These questions you can ask if the interviewer is a designer, or mostly in your second interview. But what about the interview with the HR Manager? Do you have any advice what to ask them, other than usual basic questions like what is the culture in the company, how the collaboration is going etc etc.
You have a great list of questions. I'm sad to find this video late after my interview this morning. Do you think I can ask the pre-interview questions as follow-up questions? Do you have any suggestions?
Hi Mizko! Thank you for this video, as usual everything is top-notch. Could you please do a video about questions to ask for a UX/UI role at agency? I got contacted by a small agency, and there is no job description. I know it sounds like a red flag, but their website is legit (at least looks like that), but now I am wondering what exactly should I ask them to ensure its not a scam or just like a toxic work environment?
This is a goldmine, this can potentially save YEARS of toxic work
how urgent question is great!

Haha, thanks Chris. I upload once a week now as I'm quite busy with pushing out new courses. This week's video is dropping tonight.
Thxx
Yea asking questions is basic 💯💯. How would you know where you're working if you dont ask about it. Also it shows you're strong they will remember you.
nice hoodie
On a side note, be careful with asking questions, some interviewers have less patience and more ego. Better to ask questions post interview
Dear Mizko can you please do a video about how to pass assessment test that companies gives nowdays? It is test where we should do the work on some task and how we shozl repr3sent it, what is do and dont?
do you still use whimsical as your preferred tool for wireframing?
@Mizko

Hey Chris! I use both Figma and Whimsical. Depends on the scope of the project. I'm dropping my Figma wireframe kit soon.

Question 9.. looks like my actual job :(
Mizko, sometimes you are just desperate to find a job and won't mind working in a chaotic company
Ui UX designer book name please
1:20 this is a silly question, don't ask this.
Second question feels a little bit unprofessional since the interviewer expect from you to have read their requirements before the actual interview.
This isn’t obvious? You’ll find this out the second you fail your first interview ha
Thank you
Hey mizko, though I missed this. I was being interviewed at the time this video came in but all the same it went well. Hoping for a positive feedback in a week time. Thanks so much mizko!
