You got it a little backwards, before _The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air_ was a show, Will Smith was already the popular rapper from Grammy winning duo DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince.

They covered their bases by saying his first Solo effort. I think they still might be off by I’m not sure if that line doesn’t keep it in bounds.

@ericsaunders2485 they purposely make small wrong statements to get more comments, which increases the ad income they receive.

I remember when “Lilo & Stitch” was advertised by Stitch crashing into other Disney movies. I was about 7 or 8 when those trailers first popped up, and I thought they were so cool. I even showed them to my sister, who was born 10 years later, those trailers, and she was even like “No way!!!”.

Look it up, MrJoker. That was his first solo single. Everything he released before that was as part of a duo with DJ Jazzy Jeff Will Smith as a solo act was a far more Pop-Centric sound, and it seems wrong to conflate the two

The thing about the Dune popcorn bucket is, beyond any concerns about its looks, is that it just seems so damn impractical, those rubber spiny things would just make it so much harder to get the popcorn out than it needs to be. Was this not a concern at all?

Algorithm 👍🏾, original DP marketing was genius lol my birthday is 2/14, so the husband took me to see this and I laughed when DP said: “My boyfriend told me this was a superhero movie but that guy in the red suit just turned that other guy into a fuckin kabob!” lol 😂 it was extremely accurate in my case.

How is the whole Sonic character design snafu not make it on this list? In no universe would a studio green light the horrible initial design of Sonic. In fact they never did, the now popular “redesign” of Sonic was the original all along and the hideous monstrosity was a nothing but a ploy to get people to talk about how bad it was and generate attention around the movie while begging to get it fixed… which the studio “did” to build a hype and a connection with the audience. Genius!
