I prefer males. Mine have been more talkative and more affectionate. I only ever had one cat at a time. I knew if I had two, then I’d have five, then I’d have twelve.

Same here! I would not be able to give them away. They are too adorable for words. My cat Jemma has helped me through some difficult times. We are so blessed!

I have had both male and female cats in my life. I much prefer male cats in my experience they are more loving, playful and loyal.

That was my experience too. But then i wound up with a rescue calico and she has been the most loving and wonderful kitty ever, I always sought males but I'm more open to females now.

I've had females for decades. Until one day, while at my favorite cat shelter, I was told to get a male. "They'll change the dynamic of your house!" So I got an Orange Tabby. He changed our house! I had 2 females and 2 males until 2 years ago. My oldest female died 2 weeks after my husband passed away. My 2 males love to intimidate my female! My youngest male is a talker! I need a video on understanding cat speak!

I've always had male cats but 2 years ago I took in my mom's female cat. She's a bossy little thing and pretty much told my boy she was in charge. He agreed!

I have 3 cats 2 boys and a girl. My little girl would show my one boy how to be a cat when he was a baby. Now he chases her around the house. But when the other boy chases the baby she protects him

I have had both. They are both wonderful cats. 🐾💞🐾

I prefer male cats, but female dogs. I've had a lot of cats and males have always seemed to be the most affectionate. Female cats tend to be more aloof. I imagine there are a million exceptions, but that's been my experience.

I have 2 girls and 1 boy. They are very different. My middle girl , Bernadette Sassypants, is an alpha female. She runs the house.

I love kittens! But they're pretty mental!

We have 2 boys and 2 girls, the girls love dad, the boys love mom. The boys nap with me, and sleep next to me. The girls cat can never get comfortable and one will even get under husband’s pillow, neck, armpit etc.. he has rolled over on her multiple times. The other girl sleeps under our bed on his side. All were rescues. ❤ them all.

Try an Orange Tabby. They're typically male and have lots of personality.

girls seem easier to me. boys never stop lol. but I have a tiny girl and a big boy and Love both. my boy has a mike Tyson voice.
