That craft room is awesome!

I love their clip magnets. They're great organizing tools. I've even used them for my macremae projects. I just line a few up, drape my string, jute, etc. and go to town. The magnets are strong enough to hold everything in place and, when the project is finished, it's super easy to just slip off the medium and add the finishing touches. I also have a supply of their wreath hangers on hand. I use them to hold hangers on the front or backs of doors for extra storage space. I love the seasonal colors they come in. Actaully there are so many items I love to see at the my local Dollar Tree that I could go on forever. I just wish I could find a Super Dollar Tree near me . . . Oh, well, maybe one day. PEACE

Yes I love all of the craft supplies but my favorite is the wood also I have to say the glue especially the gel super glue 🥰

I love (even my pitiful) Dollar Tree. Their stickers are gorgeous & for junk journaling, I love their greeting cards. 🛍🩷

Wood blanks during the holiday, for sure, but also floral. I wish they'd stop putting glitteron the silk flowers on the seasonal ones, but I was able to get navy and dark purple for Halloween as well as picks for fall. Their fall fake stuff is pretty great. Lastly, ribbon. I'm always searching in their ribbon section. Ribbon is rather understated outside sewing or floral, but ou t always is useable. You can a simple board, placing a design, and outlining the side with ribbon. Scrapbooking with not just paper but also ribbon is super pretty. Hanging with ribbon instead of rope or thread. It's my biggest catchall. If something looks lacking, I go to my ribbons first to test.

I've always enjoyed buying wood ornaments to paint from dollar tree. This year though, the pieces are much thinner. When they are thin, they are more likely to warp when painted. A couple of days ago I checked out new ornaments at our dollar tree, but left when none.

I think my dollar tree is one of the smallest on earth. Maybe six aisles at the most. People come and go out of the same door. Nestled between two other businesses.

Mine is tiny too, no freezers and with the Plus+ section now, missing a lot of other good things as well. But I don't think mine is quite as small as yours, wow!

That sounds exactly like, my DT, if I want to go to a bigger store I have to drive anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes away and I am disabled so travel is limited unless a friend is going over to the bigger stores then I can tag a long. I just wish all of the DTs wou.d be all the same size and all the same products. But I don't seethat ever happening, they know if you can't fi d it in one store then they know you will go to their other stores to find it.

Your DT is more in stock than mine. My go-to items are the poster boards, foam core boards and seasonal napkins. I decorate alot for my church and DT is the cheapest on a tight budget.👍❤️😉

The LockTight super glue is amazing! U can get that at the dollar store too and it doesn't make white marks like the super glue one can

I buy most of my ribbon at the DT. There are some things I see on KZread that I never see in my stores. I like the variety of glues there too. I decoupage a lot in my paper crafting so I like the small bottles of Mod Podge and the Tacky Glue. Tacky Glue actually works well for fabrics too.

I am just trying to get started and I am a beginner and I am trying to find some simple art projects online to do for various holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, valentine's day, st, Patrick's day, Easter, 4th of July etc.. and since I am indian festivals like diwali, and other Indian festivals as well.

Great tips/recommendations. I noticed a few comments by others whose local DT stores are either very small or not well-stocked - we have the same issue here where I live in Ontario 🇨🇦 despite having 3 relatively close locations, they don’t compare to others I’ve seen on YT USA locations. Hope to go to some in bigger cities here in the summer to see if they’re better. None of ours have a plus section. Thanks for sharing.

Our stores have small crafty aisles also. I have to go on a scavenger hunt to find some of the good items. I have yet to find rub-ons.

My dollar tree looks like a tornado has blown through. So hard to find anything with out digging into the bottom shelf because all the stuff that should be hanging, is spilling out of it.

Our Dollar Tree has merged with Family Dollar also. I don't like it. It has made the Dollar Tree section smaller. Also, the Dollar Tree Plus section is in the Family Dollar section.

Not all dt are created equal

I’m having such a hard time finding the glue gun silicone mats at my DT’s. Ugh!

We have 4 within 20 min drive, 2 are huge, and they rarely have items I see in here. Doesn't seem to matter if I'm there when they're processing trucks or not. Frustrating to see great things you can never buy! 🤯🤣 Quit going to HL. They wouldn't let me exchange a couple birthday gifts which were duplicates they were still selling - I checked online first - because I wasn't so rude as to ask the gifter for a receipt. I don't appreciate a store which promotes itself as Christian accusing me of stealing. Called hqs several times and WOW, were they RUDE, is all I can say. I used to spend a ton on HL, so they knew me, and I rarely, if ever returned/exchanged anything. Michael's will now get the 1k or so. It's a pity bc I loved HL's other than crafting items.

We have poundland and bargain buys b&m home bargains but nothing like dollar tree 😢😢😢😢

If I tried to buy my craft supplies at our local DTs I’d never have anything. They’re pretty pathetic

@@MrsAlmaTrumble put reviews up with honest feed back! I did that last year and it may be a coincidence however my closest store is one of my best stores now. Shelves were sitting empty it was ridiculous!!! I put a review up and slowly but surely I have watched that store bloom! Don’t give up on them let them know every area they are lacking. If it’s everything well then it’s everything! I just do google reviews. 💜
