The thieves are clued up to what they are looking at..some of the muggings are random,like when they smash and grab someone in an expensive car or cruise around knightsbridge,kensington etc looking for a mark but a lot of them they’ve scoped out a victim for a day or so then work out a time they’ll be able to strike when the victims vulnerable,like what happened to that comedian on the school run..these gangs are making good money doing it

Highly appreciate seeing Nico finally talk positive and passionately about watches that aren’t several thousands of pounds and completely unattainable for most of the people,watching. Hearing him talk about watches that are a couple hundred is a lovely thing to see for a product that’s so often associated with snobs.

I freaking love nico I’m not financially stable enough for most of the watches but he has sparked my love for watches and the budget series has helped me start a collection of watches that I love thanks so much for the series and I love your videos

Wife got me a Zodiac Super Seawolf for my 30th birthday and I absolutely love it. My first Swiss watch and just love how striking looks and love their history. Glad to see Zodiac mentioned.

The quartz in my opinion is the perfect watch for a low-cost option. Amazing looking dials, and 35mm and 40mm options. The fit and finish for £290 is incredible. In fact I’m gonna put mine on now, hah.

I love my tschuy-vogt a15 crusader. Great looking watch I get compliments on all the time. Not flashy at all but can be worn with basically anything.

I’ve owned a couple Tissot PRC 200’s over the years and I loved that watch. I had a black face and blue face. For around $500 they are a reasonably priced watch and they feel really good on your wrist.

Saw this video as soon as it was posted. The Tissot PRX Midnight Sky looked amazing and I was happy that it was still in stock, bought one immediately. Just literally over 12hrs later its completely sold out!!! Thanks Nico!!!

Today I have a gold Daydate 40 and maybe I just keep it at home in safe, safe Canada my next trip lol!!

Happy to see Grönefeld mentioned somewhere. I haven't seen them around on youtube a lot. I discovered them a while back and absolutely love their watches. Will probably never be able to afford one, but they are absolutely some of the most beautiful watched I have ever seen.

Never got why Nico hates Grand Seiko so much. Yeah they have way too many watches and their prices are all over. But the watches clearly attract people once you get one on your wrist, plus they are not losing as much value on the pre-owned market as before (as long as you get a normal one)

Nice to see the 1926 getting its come-uppance. It's a good piece and a compelling value under $2k. Wear mine when I don't want to draw attention, but still want to enjoy what's on the wrist.

100%, I went into Tudor AD to look at a Black Bay, but had my head turned by the 1926 because it is such a timeless design. BB will probably look dated in 20 - 30 years, the 1926 will still look solid in 50 years.

I bought my Tissot Gentleman 80 a few months ago after watching Nico, love it. Get complimented, it's comfy, it's pretty. Price don't matter when quality and looks are there.

Absolutely nailed it with the #1 watch on the list. Literally can't go wrong with it. It's affordable, durable, and will look good with about everything

FINALLY Gronefeld getting recognition. Their open casebacks are absolutely stunning especially for a new brand.

The Seiko and the Hamilton were my personal favs; particularly the Seiko. I'm more of a fan of blues like the Hamilton, but something about that shade of seiko's green really tickled my fancy.

I feel like the dynamic between Nico and the video director is underrated. Chemistry for days!

I got robbed wearing a £150 watch. I won’t buy another watch until I move out of London.

I wear my Rolex sports watches on an Everest rubber strap whenever I travel and absolutely nobody seems to notice I'm wearing a Rolex. I think that the first thing a thief notices is the bracelet, especially the ones with polished centre links. I've worn them in all the 'hotspots' like London, Naples, Milan, Rome and Barcelona and never had a problem so far.......fingers crossed!

The really chilling part about the Zodiac killer is that he argued that he murdered all those people so he could trap them in the afterlife as his personal slaves... what a guy... probably wanted to use his Zodiac watch as the remote for his victims. You need more clips on the history of watch brands. Loved this one as well!

Worked with Seiko's for a little bit, the name for watch Nr 8 comes from the fact that it was designed with inspiration from the workers of the Star Bar, a bar located just next to the Seiko Factory! and that's hinted at with the second hand mimicking a cocktail stirrer stick, yeah Nico it's green not poo brown.

I think I got it being into firearms more than watches. Casio is the highpoint of watches. Which makes them god tier. Can not break them and they always just work. Also affordable enough that everyone can own it.

I'm just getting started and I personally like Festina as an everyday brand that screams quality for as little as £100. They are weighty and feel good to hold and good on. The other series and brand I like for around £300 is the Citizen Eco drive.

Yay, I own a number one watch on Nico's list !! Probably the last time I'll ever say that though ;o)

I recently decided I was going to get a watch to help me stay off my phone for long periods of time and I decided I want something with an alarm to remind me when to take my medications. I decided to not go too crazy I remember back in the 90s I liked Timex's indiglo watches, so went on Amazon to look for a basic digital Timex indiglo watch and I found a Timex Ironman 30 on sale for $35 Canadian down from 60 so I went through that. The Timex Ironman is a perfect design for me because it fits with my 1990s style wardrobe it's going to reliably be able to tell the time it wasn't too expensive I was able to get it in Black it has a few alarms it has the option to have two time zones and it has the indiglo feature I was dead set on getting. Needless to say I'm pretty excited about it getting here in a couple of days. Was happy to get a watch I liked that happened to be 42% off when I decided to go watch shopping. If down the line I decide to get another digital watch for myself I'm going to go with a 1980s/1990s style Casio with the backlight similar to the indiglo feature that Timex has and for the time being I'm perfectly content with the Timex I bought for myself. I can appreciate higher-end watches without necessarily needing one myself I personally like my late 20th century style digital sports watches but that's just my personal preference.

Just wanted to say that I ordered my dream watch. Last weekend I ordered a Rolex datejust 41 with the rose gold jubilee bracelet and the Wimbledon dial. I literally dreamed about this watch and now that I have the financial resources to buy one I really did it. That's also thanks to you my man. When my mom died I fell Into a hole I could not climb out for over a year. That's when I started to watch your videos and I thought like "my goodness there are really people out there who can afford to spend thousands and thousands of dollars on something like a watch while I can't afford my next bottle of vodka and something to smoke. That's when I knew I have to get a good payed job in order to live life to the fullest and buy myself something like this. I got to the doc and he gave me medicine so I can regulate my sleep rhythm again. It mostly killed of my emotions and empathy for others. But I was able to get up again, I broke ties with most of my friends cause they were bad influence for me, dragged me down telling me I can't reach anything. Anyway I'm 24 now and if it weren't for you, I wouldnt be alive right now. I'm not joking or anything, the drugs and the alcohol wouldve allready killed me. I got so far that I allready thinking about buying a house for myself. I'm really grateful and I wish you only the best my man. Keep up with your content, I belive there are still people like me you help with your content even If you may dont realize it. BTW I know my English is not the best but to defend myself : English is not my mother tongue.

Man, I wish I would've known about the Roberto Clemente Oris Big Crown before making my purchase 6 months ago. I bought an Oris Big Crown Pro Pilot that has a bronze case, black dial, and olive green textile strap and I love it. wanted something with a bronze case to match my EDC gear and couldn't afford the Tudor Black Bay with the bronze case so went for the Oris and couldn't be happier with it. I also own the bronze Hamilton Khaki Field mechanical but the Oris gets the most wrist time of all my watches. the only watch on this list I own is the Seiko Presage and enjoy that watch as well but like the Hamilton it just fits a bit small for my liking. if I had $170k (hell, that I could spend on anything for that matter, LMFAO) that I could spend on a watch I'd have to seriously consider the one shown that was made by the 2 Dutch brothers. can't remember the name but thought that was a super sexy piece and unique. on top of being a super sexy watch your chances of coming across someone else with that same watch would be slim to none since it's limited to 125 pieces if I remember correctly. if Tissot had a different case/band design for the PRX I might consider the Powermatic since I love the waffle pattern (or what we call in the knife world a frag grenade pattern) dail but the case and band looks plain to me compared to the dail plus I don't like the fact they took a the ETA 2824-2 movement down from 4hz to 3hz to get the 80hr power reserve.
