No because I have seen it done in a coffee machine. You just need a water bath at a consistent temperature to sous vide something

Thank you, Thank you MissValerie!!!!!💜 I wasn't going to open this video until I saw the Salmon in the dishwasher! I want to SCREAM! Don't Do That!!!! I can give Several reasons. Just DON'T! And the Flat Iron Panini Press is alright if that Iron is purchased and used for Food ONLY!!! I haven't even finished the video yet. I just had to Put The Brakes On! CAUTION!!! Food Safety is #1 in my Kitchen. Don't risk your health for a short-cut.✌️

100% agree! Imagine if you went over to someone's house for dinner and they take a jar of salmon from the dishwasher😂

The egg sandwich one was great until it showed the final plated sandwich, then the bread went back to being dry toast again.

the dishwasher salmon is fine as long as the jar was sealed - we cook sausages in foil around the engine when we drive through outback QLD. It works well if they are also sealed in foil. Else you get diesel fumes in them.

The traditional methods look way better. Maybe 2 or 3 of the hacks are okay but I prefer the traditional

People have been using Gourds and Specifically pumpkins as cooking vessels for thousands of years. So maybe not so much a hack as it is a eons old tradition. But very effective.

BIG NO-NO!!!!! Dishwasher water isn't hot enough for it the be sterile. Same for canning "hacks".

The toast would be burnt on top, those noodles would look like egg drops if you were lucky, the yogurt and flour bagels wouldn't be airy whatsoever, the instant potatoes would taste really weird because of the fat and salt content, I could go on. I love it because it's hilarious, but I really hope nobody tries any of these "hacks."

But they don’t mention how that ruins your baking sheets to use it on an open flame. They aren’t made for that and it’s dangerous! Very dangerous! My sister did that instead of using a pan and it’s scorched top and bottom and warped. She still has yet to replace it as she promised she would.
