I knew Whoopi had a baby as a teen, but I didn't know about her struggle with addiction and that she'd been homeless for a time. Wow. Rags to riches is right! Why do we infantilize people so much today? 20 years is young, but it is by no means a baby. If you're 20 and you see yourself as a baby, cool. But you are still an adult. Being under 25 does not mean you are mentally undeveloped. A person can be 40 years old and still exhibit behavior akin to that of a bratty teenager.
