You mean it's so perfect that we look to Yellowstone in fear? BTW, I live in Colorado. When Yellowstone has increased earthquakes we watch it closely, wondering if we will need to evacuate with a minutes notice. Earth is far from perfect, most of the events listed in this video are fare rarer now that they would have been a billion years ago.

@@charpad6690 So, in the billions of visible galaxies, each with billions of stars, there are only likely a handful of earthlike planets? I doubt that. We have only surveyed a small fraction of our own galaxies stars and we think there might be a few potentially habitable worlds in that survey. Ultimately there is no way for us to know for certain until we develop FTL. If you are referring to the Drake Equation, it's focus is on the potential number of intelligent races that we might be able to communicate with. It also contains a number of unknowns that we have to estimate, such as the chance of a planet that can develop life to actually do so. Some scientists put 1/3 in there because of the three planets in our habitable zone. The problem with the Drake Equation is that we have a sample size of 1. We simply can't fine tune it until we actually travel to other stars. This equation also doesn't take into account potential races that have developed past our communications technology. Do I believe that there are aliens? I have no idea, but I think that it's possible.

The Megatsunami is the most terrifying one to me. You didnt talk about the height of the tsunami that came after the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs. Recently its been said that scientists believe it wouldve been around 2.5 miles high around the initial impact zone. Thats 13200 feet. Almost 8x the height of the lituya bay tsunami which is the biggest in record history as you mentioned. A 13000 feet coming at me would be something i wouldnt even think is real until it hits

You're saying it hit shallow waters but if that was the case the articles I read wouldve emphasized their 2.5 mile high wave height was just a possibility they theorized. Not sure just going off what I read. Makes sense. The size of the asteroid caused devastation far beyond the impact zone

@@dmaxwell910901 nah it is true, at the initial impact zone the tsunami would've been way higher before actually getting wider and therefore losing in height, or perhaps he meant the water reached as high at 2.5 miles due to the sheer impact, the theoretical height if it landed in deep ocean is smth a bit different

I live in New Zealand and we just had a natural disaster that killed 3 people and a few more were missing. In Auckland a huge flood accured. Videos pictures were all over the news. I don't live in Auckland but I was shocked to see the damage. It caused landslides and picked up an entire house from its foundations.

Well…time to start building a survival bunker😂

I've been fighting a UTI for weeks. I don't get them often but when I do, I usually rid myself of them through fluid intake and cranberry pills. Today I gave in and started my antibiotic routine, but loathe the fact that it's come to this. I hate taking antibiotics because of the influence they have in creating stronger infections in the long run. 🙁 And of course it would be today that I'm reminded outside of my own thoughts of that possibility.

So, other than all that. ... No problem!

What scares me more than the events themselves is that my son may not have a chance to grow up if they happen. That's something that haunts me every so often.

Over the course of the next 6 days things will calm down before the entire process reverses leaving no trace.

We don't really know the side effects of a pole shift. We can guess, but there is no way to be certain that the magnetic field would even decrease before the switch. Your description of a pole shift would cause a geologically and paleontologically detectable changes. This includes extinctions from the abrupt shift of the crust by 90 degrees, around 2,000 miles. There would be massive floods and entire coastal regions wiped out. As a note, we found evidence of the pole sifts, but no evidence of massive coastal extinctions to go with it.

By observing the massive amounts of water damage throughout the Sahara following now gone riverbeds. And the flash freezing of animals like wooly mammoths / Antarctica. Plus his last statement, "the entire process reverses leaving no trace," makes no sense. From what he says, there would be entire forests blown down and massive flooding on the mountains. That would leave one hell of a mark.
