Jenn Im you have to read Ishmael by Daniel Quinn. Life changing! It’s philosophical and makes the reader question the stories we’ve been told about why things are the way they are. Puts a whole new perspective regarding human nature and how we impact the environment

The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. It was such a fulfilling story about how you change each person around you, whether you know it or not. The ending made me cry 😭😭 not because it was particularly sad but bc it was so heartwarming
you should do a book update every 2-3 months. I genuinely love your recommendations :) much love

JENNNNNNN I JUST GOT AN IDEA IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS VIDEO!!!! You should do a look book about what you think a certain character from a book would wear? I know this is a little more complicated since there are millions of books not everyone reads, but maybe it could be a start of something different on your channel? I hope you continue to do the art one, just not so literal like last time :)

I definitely recommend 'The five people you meet in heaven' by Mitch Albom. It's about Eddie, a wounded war veteran who has lived, in his mind, an uninspired life. His job is fixing rides at a seaside amusement park. On his 83rd birthday, a tragic accident kills him, as he tries to save a little girl from a falling cart. He awakes in the afterlife, where he learns that heaven is not a destination. It's a place where your life is explained to you by five people, some of whom you knew, others who may have been strangers. One by one, from childhood to soldier to old age, Eddie's five people revisit their connections to him on earth, illuminating the mysteries of his ''meaningless'' life, and revealing the haunting secret behind the eternal question: ''Why was I here?'' I read it when I was younger and it was one of those books that really stayed with me. It's a pretty light read for a somewhat heavier subject, so if you can, definitely pick it up. :)

I love how passionately you talk about all of these!! I can’t wait to delve into them. I just finished “You” and the sequel “Hidden Bodies” so I’ve been needing something else!! Thank you!

Omg! We have the same resolution! :D
Jenn please read Snow Falling on Cedars! I think I recommended it to you a couple years ago! It's historical fiction about a Japanese American family in Washington state whose whole life is upended by the Japanese internment camps of WW2. That's really only part of the book though, as it is about how the dad came from Japan and made a prosperous life in America. His family rented and farmed land from a white family so the book is also about the relationship between those two families. It's a really famous book and I think you would love it!
My new year's resolution is to read more! This video was perfect! I feel like we have a similar genre when it comes to books, thanks for the recommendations Jenn! 💞
THANK YOU! i'm planning to read more this year and this is a great way to start
I love how passionate you are about these books! I'll definitely read some of them so thank you!!
I live for these book lists of yours! Can't wait to get my hands on Dark Places and The Last Mrs.Parrish!

You must read: 1)the vortex by Ester Hicks 2)Mastery of love Don Miguel Ruiz 3)The lotus and the lily by Janat Conner 4) letting go by David R. Hawkins 5) a New model by Ashley Graham (: these are books to find happiness and peace in life. Enjoy! Ahola
Seeing you do this kind of video once again, totally shook me cuz I got tired of watching the previous book recommendations video over and over again, it's one of my favourite videos on youtube. THANK YOU FOR THIS TYPE OF CONTENT!!! PLEASE DO IT MORE OFTEN
I finally started college classes this semester, and for the past month i’ve really wanted to get back into reading, but didn’t know where to start! I’m so happy you made this video! My New Years resolution was to read more but I didn’t know where to start and here you are answering my calls🙌🏽 love this!
Definitely going to check these out! Thank you Jenn! 💖😍
I will never get over the amazing quality, lighting, and editing of your videos!! ✨😚
Jenn!! You should definitely watch “You” on Netflix! I feel like you would love it since it’s a psychological thriller. Basically its about a psycho-stalker lover and, I don’t want to get into it too much since it’s actually really interesting to get into it without knowing anything about it. I’m also sure it’s a book too!

These books look so great, I’m going to add them to my reading list 😁
Thanks for all the suggestions! I'd definitely recommend The Overstory by Richard Powers. It's certainly one of those life-changing reads.
May I just say thank you so much for the book recommendations. I honestly never really liked reading but your videos on books made me see books and reading in a different light. I am so grateful for the books you recommend and the authors that have a message to say to the world. It made me realize I’m not alone in this world and we all have hardships and there is difference between realizing and knowing. So thank you. 고마워요
Jenn, I'm actually working towards the film industry next year when I get into college and one of my dreams is to acknowledge cultures, traditions and global topics. Pachinko seemed really interesting to me and will have to read it sometime. And inspired me to read up on global history topics that are usually not talked about. Thank You, Jenn, for the inspo
