The problem mostly come from liscence. Nowadays car companies don't like so much the "street" look. They are scared for their clean image instead of seeing it as an opportunity for players to become fan of their brand

I still play Forza Motorsport 4 from time to time on xenia. It's such a shame that turn10 never implemented the use of System Link or LAN.

When we getting spinners in forza?

I really wouldn't mind if Forza devs reduced the car list to like 300 or something cars in order to make every car more unique and add more customisation to said cars.

The WRX old customization kits we're fire and I don't see why they won't bring them back

It isnt a licensing issue in the way people present it. It also isnt a budget issue. Even if it were a budget issue, just drop the dumb and/or outdated shit and stop paying those licenses. Not to mention there are alot of brands who would jump at the chance to be in a forza game for exposure alone.

I can guarantee you right now they do not have any licensing or budget issues. If they can get high end cars that people will forget about after a week, they can sure as hell add better customization or even a better damage model. People make this same excuse but we know the truth is that the folks over at Forza are simply ignorant

​@@wheeder_823 I agree I really think the Forza devs are just copying and pasting things at this point and not transfering some of the old shit into the game. Funny because some of the after market brands in modern Forza titles that have body kits in past Forzas has some of their parts in modern Forzas. "Licensing" my ass, this ol and tiring statement, the same statement many Forza fans try to push the narrative for are lying out of their ass. If it really is a budget issue, how come Forza sells millions of copies and millions of more copies on Xbox Game Pass? To me, it sounds more like lazy copy and paste development issue, like how they copy and paste crap into the reboot of Motorsport, conveying to fans "from the ground up."

As a tuner in FH5 customization is the most important part to me and this makes me sad

It sucks to see that they removed customization. Those are some good looking body kits.

I remember some of the customization in FH1 that weren't transferred to any following games. Also, previously, the silvia 2000 didn't have the bodykit from FH3, but it came back in an update

So sad to see them gone 😢😢😢

Another car lacking customization from old titles is the RX-8. Sure the older version was the Mazdaspeed variant but like there are, from what I know, no physical differences so outside of paying the licensing fees I'm lost on why they vanished. Same with the Focus. The SVT customization was so cool, especially for the Rally Expansion.

look ACURA NSX and you will see bumpers, both generations. Honda Integra and even the S13 has a lost customization too.

There is also the bmw m2 in fm6 which had m2 cs bumpers and wing

I wish they would separate bumpers customization from wide fenders customization on more cars. Like the Miata 1995 on which you have access to all bumpers modifications with and without the wide fender body kit

On some car there are like 2-3 wings that look like aero setting would be adjustable but it is not. Just with the R35 5:22 why aero is not adjustable on the liberty walk wing?

Overall i wish they would add more each series overall customization makes it much more fun that for sure. I assume why the most Kit vanish are either because of Licenses or the outdated models but since the 22B, Silvia and the AE86, R32 are basically original 360 Models its not a big deal. I would wish we have a Paintable hook and maybe a new version of the Forza Aero since the 2 wings looking like poop and for the front maybe a "hook less" version since the red hook often ruins the look

It's crazy that customization in Forza Horizon is trash and 90% of cars don't have anything besides forza aero, and they still removing body kits! New Forza devs put so little effort in car customization!

seriously i check in on this guy every once in awhile and all his vids are dumping on this game like obviously there a flaws, but give the game a break my guy.

i think something a lot of people don't seem to understand is that licensing can be very expensive and sometimes depending on which company it is you either have the choice of getting the car as it is and not being able to modify it visually because the manufacturer is a little bitch cough cough Ferrari... or just not having the car at all. it all just comes down to licensing issues so in other words it's not like they are removing stuff just because they feel like it
