Redshift seatpost cannot be shortened at the bottom because that is where the adjustment mechanism is located. Thank you for showing that sequence. That's another potential suspension post I can leave off my "possibles" list.

Tex-lock looks great, and perhaps it's hard to cut through that fabric design, but what about the eye hooks at each end. That's vulnerable to bolt cutters.

"...doesn't oscillate or make noise (...) and creates an agile wheelset that instantly translates your momentum into speed and saves rotating masses" That is quite a verbose way to say: "the little paper things don't move, make noise, or add resistance to your ride" (I should hope not lol) Ha ha, no offense intended. I just thought that was a little funny :)

Its still overpriced us i guess... But i wouldn't want any of them at all... Bike lights need not to be smart, i can toggle that light mood manually just fine. Reflector on spokes doesn't have good statistical data showing it lessens night accidents. In a not so safe neighbourhood id rather have a plain tailight and a flashlight and no fancy gadgets... The front bag is too expensive and not even better than what's available now... The tool is not even a multi tool that contains what you need for emergencies, a properly planned multitool set even if it has more parts and give additional grams beats that tool for that price.... The rope bike lock seem decent but wait till others copy the same tech and get its price down, since logically the point of breaking a security is attacking on the weakest link so even if the rope is harder the lock it self wouldn't be tougher than the rope... Helmet is just overpriced headpiece

Everything functions properly kzread.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Nothing was damaged in the box aside from a decal on the fork. The decal was missing a piece of a corner but I ended up peeling them off anyways. Assembly is easy BUT make sure you tune up the derailleurs. Both the front and rear need adjusting. I'd advise going to a bike shop but I opted out and put in 10+ hours with the help of KZread. Ended up fraying a shifter cable but all in all I learned from the experience. The Brakes work well but the front caliper needs adjusting or at least mine did because the rotor was rubbing against the pads. Make sure you swap out the seat, grips, and pedals. For the short run you'll be fine though. I've read that this bike isn't built yet for hard trails but I just need it for the city. PA has some of the worst roads and being in a mountain this was a great choice. Worth the investment!

But people seem so self-absorbed, as to become totally unaware and not responsible, apparently, for even a miniscule part of their own safety. I'm willing to take up to 80% of the responsibility for a safe pass. After that, I don't know how to help them.

The Texlock?….. I dont know…. I dont think id use it in a public location with people around and caneras installed all over. Thieves are getting much more efficient, faster, better tools. U-locks are the way to go, more specifically the kryptonite brand. Also the Onguard brand is good. They are a little expensive, especially Kryptonite, but its worth every penny. But you have to know the proper way and the proper locations when locking your bike otherwise they’re worthless. I learned my lession one night after work, i went to cvs, didnt know the proper way to lock a bike, went inside for about 15 minutes came back out it was gone that time i was using a ulock and thick metal cable combo. The cut through cable in less than 15 mins. Looked around. They were long gone. The cvs was a block away from work and im positive that someone had their eyes on my bike for a while and im sure the followed me to the store, watched me lock my bike and go in, thats when they go in for the kill and most likely it was two people . One was the look out. So I learned that you have to be aware of your surroundings, know whos around, be more observant with people around you. Im not saying to be paranoid, stare at everyone or follow them around and freaking people out because now they think you a crackhead, methhead, and if kids are around they are gonna think you are a kidnapping pedophile thinkin you want to hurt them or some sh**. Lol. But we do have to be more aware, alert, observant of your surroundings these days especially if you have children because the world has been getting dangerously worse day by day. Youll be shocked when you see the number of missing cases that are not being reported on the news. Especially missing children cases. Some of them end up being found dead and it’s heartbreaking.

That's ok. Thieves do stake out bikers & their daily habits. They just wait for the right time & do the dastardly deed.

Re: Tex-Lock - wouldn't the prospective thieves just target the metal links with their industrialised bolt cutters instead of wasting time on the rope itself????????????

I would not buy any of these gadgets. I personally like the head light and tail light I have much better than the ones mentioned in this video.

the texlock is so stupid. the textile itselfe may be "unbrakable" but it still needs a ordinary lock witch is a weakpoint

The video should be called Gadgets for pretend cyclist, or Gadgets to improve your hipster status, or gadgets for people with no idea about being a cyclist.

Do you even cycle bro? Why are you trying to gatekeeper cycling? There is no right or wrong way to do it and hundreds of sports involving specialised bikes. Whatever you think being a "real cyclist" is, isn't it and there is someone else willing to tell you the same because you have the wrong bike or the wrong gear for BMX, Trials, touring or road biking etc.

Insgesamt echt schwaches Video
