To me, nothing tops Bret Hart and Stone Cold from WrestleMania 13. We saw both of them turn in the same match.

Yeah that is the greatest double turn in history when you consider what stone cold went on to be. Also take into account and happened on the biggest show of the year and just like many said it may have been the only good match on that show. When it's debated that your match is possibly the greatest in wrestlemania history and there was nothing else that was worthwhile on that show

Its disappointing they never went back to Shinsuke in the title picture after 2018. You would think he would at least be one of the people Roman slayed in his eternal reign at the top the past 3 years.

It did seem after boogs they were going that direction, then they just stopped for no apparent reason. Could of been a cool feud and made Nakamura seem a little more important

Yeah the whole Styles/Nakamura feud was sadly underwhelming.

Nakamura and Styles fued was when I gave up on WWE.
Austin's heel turn at WM17 probably made the biggest change in business for WWE, too bad it wasn't for the positive and the company/industry never reached the popularity heights from before it ever since.
An honorable mention goes out to Brutus Beefcake turning face at Wrestlemania III. He cut the hair of Adrian Adonis after the latter lost a hair match against Roddy Piper thus The Barber was born.
The "So sorry, no speak Engrish!" run for Nakamura was gold. GOLD.
The Hogan and Rock match sends chills when they first lock up an hogan tosses rock then does his pose. The crowd and the visual, it was amazing.
Certainly wasn't as iconic but when you mentioned HHH turning heel at Mania 15 I'm surprised you didn't mention Kane turning babyface as a result

That Wrestlemania 6 match is bittersweet now, as Andre was unable to wrestle in the match because of his then ongoing health issues.
Stone Cold turning heel at WM 17 was weird decision considering he was still over with fans at that time

@bartoszlipinski9807

@@remingtonbouyer Actually it was his decision. JR mentioned multiple times, that him and Vince McMahon (!) didn't want to do it, but in the end McMahon said that they owe it to him after all he has done for the company and they agreed
Demolition wasn't challenging for the tag titles at WM V, they were defending them. So they weren't really trying to win the titles for the 3rd straight year at WM VI.
Austin turning heel was the end of me watching wwf
Bret and Austin should have been number one.
I was at WMX8 and the reaction in the crowd was crazy in support of Hogan
Thank For The Video 💞💗
WrestleMania 2000 will always be my Favorite. They had a McMahon in every corner...EVERY CORNER!
Bret vs Steve is the greatest match ever. They did something nearly impossible in the double turn all while having an instant classic. And it was important for the history of wrestling because it was the start of the Austin era. It checks all the boxes.
I’m new and am becoming a fan of this channel. Thanks for not ending your videos by plugging one of your old ones

What’s so wrong with that tho?
Austin's heel turn at WM17 was monumental. It put the exclamation point on the Attitude Era and, in addition to Vince buying WCW and the end of ECW, pretty much killed the popularity of wrestling as a global phenomenon. How many of us had friends who stopped watching once Austin turned heel? I personally knew of 5 people who stopped purely for that reason, and they never went back.
@lk5388

If your friends stopped watching, it just means you are casuals lol.... Everyone knows heel and face turns are part of the business. In fact, Stone Cold admitted its always more fun to play the heel. He just liked getting paid more in merchandise sales as a baby face.
Jey Uso turning face by costing Roman the title at WM 39 will be in this for sure . Mark my words

Trish had been one of the most over babyface's on the roster since 2001. Her turning heel at WMXX was pretty shocking.
Trish Stratus Turning Heel at wrestlemania 20 in 2004 is iconic she was a better heel than Babyface in my Honest opinion she did a phenomenal job in that role.

I was shocked that Brock was able to walk after that. What about Paul orndorf at wrestlemania 1
WM7 is all the more bittersweet knowing that the year after Miss Elizabeth and Randy would split for real, and Elizabeth would start on a cycle of drug-induced self-destruction that would lead to her death in 2003.
Interesting list.
Should be Trish turning on Jericho here and unlocking Evil Trish

Also trish face turn at wm 17
Nakamura ahead of Angle. Stuff like this is exactly why I can never take channels like this seriously
Trish to heel was great at 20...Savage should have been closer to #1. For me, that and WM 13 are the top two, and the only debate is which is which.
man i wish Triple H was in charge during the AJ and Shinsuke rivalry... it was a dream rivalry that was ruined by the reality of Vince's horrible creative
Honorable mention would be Trish turning heel at wrestlemania xx
@zeluxen

And face turn at 17
The model rick Martel should be in the hall of fame
Very rare and short face turn during the Rick martel turn at mania v, ventura actually bashed martel for turning his back on his tag team partner.....dont worry he was heel again the next match
Dammit, now I want to watch Hogan vs Rock again
Shinsuke never really recovered from that heel turn
I completely forgot about wank pheasants. Oh man, I clearly needed that.
3:37 one can say that Shawn lost his smile again...
I'm not sure if Io will turn face or not, but I have a good feeling Drew will turn heel on Sheamus if he(Sheamus) wins the title.
@josephhinz6256

I think Drew’s turn COSTS him the title and leads to a WALTER retention tbh but also probable.
Austin was the most shocking turn of all time. It was Amazing and a Powerful Moment. Austin's Injury is what made the follow up lackluster. If he never gets hurt, we don't have the PG Era.
@ceulgai2817
Жыл бұрын
Considering the Ruthless Agression era was largely TV-14, I don't think the PG era is a result of Austin's injury. It's very likely Austin would have been out of the game by that time.
7:50 jiminy Christmas!!!! Andre the giant had a head on him like a bass turd house cat
Everyone says the lesnar vs angle match is overshadowed by brock's botch. For me, so is Undertaker vs. Michaels, though.
Side note: Savage reunited with Miss Elizabeth, but his face turn didn't happen at the same time... Until SummerSlam he stayed a heel color commentator... Then he and Liz opened up Jake's wedding present and his turn was elementary...
3:29 You mean Cold Thstone.
Shawn Michaels and Marty Ginetty?
Hogan was the heel at WMV.
Where's Brutus Beefcake from Mania 3?😢
honestly, who mike tyson is NOW, back then, would have been so much better.
HEY ADAM CAN YOU COVER WHERE ARE THEY NOW: THE WOMEN OF WCW.
Nakamura should been wwe champion years ago.....😡 damn Vince.
Roman Reigns turning heel was great!
Shinsuke “Snickers” Nakamura
I watched wrestling since I was 4-5. I started towards the end of the golden era and my teen years were right straight dab in the middle of the best era of pro wrestling ever. I can say with all honesty, Stone Cold turning was the single reason I stopped watching. I came back about 3-4 years later but it didn’t last.
You've ranked every Wrestlemania match, how about every Wrestlemania moment
personally i think i had the best heel turn
Always will wonder why Shin & Aj couldn’t put together anything in WWE
I didn't start watching wrestling until long after it happened, and even I well up after watching Savage and Liz reunite. My efed was planning on doing a similar angle with my character and our NPC backstage interviewer/announcer, but we sadly couldn't finish the story before we had to hang it up.
Im reeling for those terrible nuts shots from AJ Styles Vs Nakamura....that describe wwe booking with Nakamura in a nutshell
AJ should have lost and been the one to turn heel. He’s proven multiple times he’s a more effective heel. Had they paired Nakamura with Sami Zayn as his mouthpiece, not because his “English ain’t no good” but of course Sami could put over their NXT rivalry, respect, history and sell it as Shinsuke’s too good to speak to any of you people, THEN the heel turn might have worked.
Down your drink, and then down nine more for the heel/face turn
The greatest missed opportunity was not renaming nakamura the king of dong style.
Sorry, gotta make this correction; but Wrestlemania 5 (and 4) were held at the Atlantic City Convention Hall (now Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall) not Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino. These were two entirely different locations (Convention Hall being owned by the state of New Jersey) and any alleged connection between the two was part of WWF’s and Donald Trump’s marketing for the events.
You guys really like saying "showcase of the immortals" don't you?
Nothing tops Hogan face turn at wm 18. My favorite mania match of all time even though neither Hogan or Rock are my favorite.

Actually the first lesnar vs angle happened before Wrestlemania, in a short match on smackdown before mania, testing waters to see if angle was capable of making it to event with that neck injury
I don't fuckin' agree that more success & eyes came to the WWE after that 1997's WrestleMania mostly coz of Mike Tyson!Undoubtedly,he'd a part but that huge that you say it's all coz of him!It's more & hugely because someone like STONE COLD was there,great & quality wrestling was there & great story-telling was there!
Early!!!
Vince can’t spell “subtle”. Or “continuity”.
"Wrestlemania 19 is considered to be the best Wrestlemania ever" nearly got cross then... 😉paused to write this comment.
Most these people are dead
That Warrior-Macho match at WM 7 was indeed an incredible spot in an otherwise horrible event.
