Whilst on tour in the UK, Mick Foley encountered a young child. The kid explained to Foley that he was living in an orphanage because his biological father used to beat him and as a result he was taken into care. Foley was saddened by this tale and offered the kid free tickets to his show. The young boy was thrilled and thanked the Hardcore Legend. The boy then said; "Y'know who I'd really like to be my dad?" "No, who?" Foley replied, kinda hoping it would be him. "Al Snow!" said the boy with hopeful enthusiasm. "Al Snow? Why him, of all people?" Asked the bewildered Foley. "Because Al Snow never beat anyone."

to be fair WWE didn't book him right. It's like booking Sid Vicious with a college degree gimmick. It just doesn't work. He's a great worker, can cut a promo and has a decent physique. He isn't world title material by any stretch but I feel that he can hold down the mid card really well if given the opportunity. Think Rick Martel area.

In 1999, I went to a local indie show that featured Tom Brandi and Gillberg. Jobbers or not, it was the height of the WWF's Attitude Era popularity and everyone I knew was psyched to see two actual WWF wrestlers in person. Gillberg actually kicked his opponent's ass, finishing him off with a spear and jackhammer. I got to meet him during intermission and had a Polaroid taken with him. He even let me hold the Light Heavyweight belt. Good times.

Those were two guys I always rooted for as a kid, and who I feel both shined as jobbers and could have been better utilized as stars in their own right.Nevertheless, great video!

Iron Mike Sharpe, sadly passed away January 2016. He was perhaps the greatest talent that Vince McMahon ever wasted. I can't imagine why he didn't try jumping to NWA/WCW. I'm sure that they would have had a better storyline for him. Hell just having a storyline at all would have been better.

Vince paid him a ton, he had his run in the early 1980's, WCW/NWA wasn't big on jobbers. Vince would still let him win against lower jobbers even into the early 90's, I saw Iron Mike live beat Tim Horner, Tony Garea, Lanny Poffo and Jose Luis Rivera. Remember the loaded wrist brace, he still had a gimmick, not many jobbers have a gimmick.

Rene Goulet (GOO LAY) is also one half of a WWWF world tag championship team with the legendary Karl Gotch (12/71-3/72). I'm amazed that you left out the greatest jobber of all time, the unpredictable Johnny Rodz. He worked for the company from the late 1960s through the late 1980s, and was the man of choice to put over the babyfaces who were receiving a decent push. He also trained Bubba and D-Von Dudley and Tommy Dreamer, among others.

+Frankie Calimano Yes sir! Worzel F'n Gummidge... And he wasn't a jobber, he was a main event level fight-separator. Name a fight separator, or WWF official who breaks up fights who is better than he. ? in the fabled history of this fine business....no? Did think so. One could easily argue he is the greatest of all time. Plus he was the coordinator (behind the scenes, almost a complete shoot) of Lex Luger attacking Bret Hart pre WrestleMania IX, this during his short lived heel turn. Ultimately the fans could not boo this man. The fans just refused to boo Worzel, and who can blame them? Worzel 4 lyfe my Nogger!
