@@touropia The pronunciation of Gouda where most say "gooda" was spot on, so I think we just weren't prepared for "Zaanze Zjans" xD Basically "ch" = "g" so you can just say "sgans" and you'd be close ^^

I lived in NL for a year and I believe it is one of the most memorable year of my life. I can still remember the days I enjoyed hopping on trains during the weekend and explore new cities. The cities are very accessible and not too far to travel. I had a free weekend NS train subscription so it was a very nice experience. I cannot wait to visit the country again.

I was born and raised in Lisse, where the Keukenhof is located. The bulbfields bloom only a few weeks in the spring and only then is Keukenhof open. Crazy times, lots of tourists and a flowery smell all over the village. As a kid I never got what the fuss was about, it were just flowers. Now I can appreciate the beauty of it though :)

We visited Zaanse Schans in 2018 and it was AWESOME! It is every thing you think of, when you think Holland. Windmills, clogs, cheese, tulips, and more. It is well worth the trip.

Delft can just as well be replaced by Leiden or Alkmaar. Zaanse schans by Enkhuizen or the National open air museum Arnhem, particularly if one visits windmils already somewhere else. Further, Groningen or Deventer for Utrecht. And there is 's Hertogenbosch, Zutphen, Zierikzee,...

I love also this place..beautiful tulips..we enjoy a lot..

I live in Nederland and believe me! Nederland is really beautiful! People are as friendly as one can be!

Hey, if you’re ever gonna visit us I’ve got some other, in the video not mentioned, beautiful places for you!! -Leiden, a city just like Utrecht and Gouda -Groningen, high in the north, but also very beautiful -Haarlem, a city close to Amsterdam, just like Leiden -Volendam, a city close to the Zaanse Schans, its very well-visited, but I think its worth it. -Middelburg, a very unknown, but in my opinion, VERY beautiful city. Its got the same atmosphere as Maastricht -Waddeneilanden (Texel, Vlieland, Terschelling, Ameland and Schiermonnikoog), this islands, situated in the north are maybe difficult to visit, but are beautiful. You could take the ferry from Harlingen. -Frisian eleven cities. In Friesland, one of the most northern provincies, we’ve got exactly eleven cities, most of them are small (but beautiful and worth to visit, others slightly bigger. Leeuwarden is the capital of this provincy, and once became ‘Cultural Capital of Europe’ a few years ago (each year two other cities become ‘cultural capital’

In south of the Netherlands in the province North-Brabant, the largest sand drift in europe "De Loonse- en Drunense Duinen", we also called as "Brabantse Sahara". Very close to this sand drift, there is also the funpark Efteling with hotel, vacationpark and more, and also not far, Safaripark De Beekse Bergen.

The diversity of great Netherlands is beyond my imagination and beyond description I just am intoxicated by the wonderful and beautiful scenery of great Netherlands From Tokyo of the Land of the Rising Sun🇯🇵

The most beautiful country in the world.

You could have said that Keukenhof (with all the flowers) is only open from the end of March to the beginning of May. The flower fields (not just tulips) are also in bloom around that period. Nice video, seen a lot (I live in the Netherlands), but you even gave me some ideas for the future to visit!

They should have definitely added the Nationaal park de Hoge veluwe. This is our National park and you can rent bikes to travel through it. It's absolutely gorgeous!

I feel Giethoorn should have been on this list too. It gets around 80k - 100k Chinese middle class tourists anually, before covid hit. With many more from all around the world. It really is the Venice of the North. Whith it's sprawling canals, landscapes and a whole suburb that is only reachable by boat. Great video though. I can see some effort was made in tasting the atmosphere of each city.

I think the Netherlands has one of the most historical cities per square kilometers in the world.

Spring is really the best time to go to Amsterdam! Very nice place. We also visited Keukenhof Botanical Gardens. Tulips are in full bloom. You'll get to experience walking in a sea of flowers! Not only a sight to behold but an experience to be felt!

If you really want to experience the Netherlands? Stay away from Amsterdam, de Keukenhof or de Zaanse Schans. Visit Haarlem (beautiful city near A'dam), West Friesland and the Zuiderzeemuseum, Frieslands 11 cities, Groningen City, Drenthe, Overijssel, Gelderlands cities Nijmegen and Zutphen, the Betuwe region, southern Limburg...

Lived in Landgraaf for five years. Lovely place!!!
